Kamaz
jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
My challenge was build the smallest truck I can with three differentials, of course it is not a trial truck it only has speed and maneuverability... but I have separate axles without differential and a more appropiate motor configuration to make it a small trial truck (bad trial truck with those wheels but the scale commands). Kamaz trucks look very strong, Dakar knows very very well . -

The solid leaf-springs are good but I think they are better in a bigger scale, It was hard but fun to use them in such a short space. The truth is that his speed surprised me, we will see what happens when I remove the leftover pieces and build the body. -

A smaller chassis for the truck, maybe kamaz maybe not but I don´t want to open a new tread, it will be a small truck anyway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwDitctPGjs -
Pull-rod suspension

Yes they are fully independent. About my arm... you say it is hairy because you didn´t see before the laser hair removal . Just are jokes not offend me at all. -

Narrowers or real scale wheels is a great idea a bigger linear actuator and a big turntable would be good too. -

It is a great idea to use the unimog hubs, they support the weight of the truck better than a single axle. When I see the Peterbilt I suggested to him that solution for the front axle but refused to remove the brakes, I can not wait to see how it manages. -
TLG style or full body style?
jorgeopesi replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
When I start I try to be like TLG, the problem is that I don´t stop to put bricks and I walk away from the TLG style without getting closer to the Sheepo . -
Solid leaf-springs
jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
You are right , but I try to improve the aesthetic parts. I keep thinking of these solid leaf-springs and I think they are much better at larger scales where it is easier to put more additional guidances as Efferman said anyway in this little truck I still have them and looks good. -

It's fun to experiment and I'm stuck with 911, I hate doing the bodywork because hasn´t got mechanisms . -

Here everybody speak googlenglish . What about this?, is just built still hot , 9 studs between wheels with ackerman steering but without differential. -
Solid leaf-springs

Of course requires development, I did today and I put it, is just an idea but can be good. -
After my other rare leaf-spring suspensions to develop... (http://www.eurobrick...=74420&hl=kamaz). Now a new ones with more structural capacity, easily adjustable, smaller and work well until now... Now I just need to know what truck build up? . The steering would be like the Sheepo´s Land Rover system.

Nice, the angle helps the engine and improves maneuverability. I already use it in my Huayra but it was very slow to see its performance but I parked easly .

Primera vez aquí que leo algo en mi idioma y no lo entiendo , ahora comprendo porque tenemos malosentendidos. Rm8 tú quisiste decir... por supuesto, amigo. First time here I read something in my language and I don´t understand it , now I understand why we have misunderstandings. Rm8 you mean... of course, friend. -

Without differential you have a lot of them and smaller than 9 studs, this one has instructions. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5340740
