I have the Imperial Assault Carrier, it probably isn't worth the money it costs. It does have a bunch of minifigs though, and the build isn't bad. But because it's out of scale it's awkward as a playset & display model, so you don't really get value for bricks. For that price, probably pick up something else like AT-AT or ISD. But if you can get it cheap that is another matter.

Sadly, I didn't do a lot with Chima, because despite some good useful things, the useless things made buying the sets not worth the cost. If not enough of this theme is good, it will not outweigh the bad to make it worthwhile for me. From what I've heard, only in theatre. And the black was to show the audience who the bad guys were, more to show sinister character than for camouflage.

Very indicative. Is it possible to separate the legs? I think just a little bit extra playability would make it more worthwhile, without taking away from the vehicle mode's look.

Apparently this was meant to be another pre-season mini-movie like last year to set the scene for season 2. So it was actually episode 0, if anything. (Remember the numbers were messed up last year?) The season proper airs in September. A bit annoying, plus it was only 45 minutes.

The Space Police (1) sets were well matched in design. The steering on this set made it really cool, but the openness under the cockpit was annoying even back then. If they'd been able to reproduce something like the 6886 or Striker cockpit design it would've been faultless. I have 2 or 3 of these. I miss being able to buy multiples of a set without getting lumped with extra pointless stuff.

The sets were released in December in Australia, sparingly. They were sold out before the movie opened, I never saw them in stock anywhere. Lucky I got them from S@H in advance. Absolutely 0 chance to pick anything up at a sale.
