  1. I need more time to think all this answers over. Points will be given later. Great replies - I see you understood the meaning of the game My favourite for today! Nothing to add. You are participating the first time, don't you? Somebody already tried that several years ago. Maybe I don't upload last second, but you won't have a lot time to figure out beforehand. Try to get the image for tomorrow.
  2. Okay, 1 point for you.
  3. Yup, for the beginning I chose the obvious. The setnumber of Robie House is 21010 (2 times 10 ) Points: 4 for Rolli 1 for mechamike 0 legal point for Legogal, but 1 point of honour (worth actually nothing, but hey - nice try ) 2 points for Redhead
  4. Sorry for the delay, but in all glory here is the first set/day of the countdown: The question is: What is the relation to "10"? The countdown has started - that means we are just 10 days away from the best time in the year - Wohooo!
  5. Nice little review, Copmike. I can't wait to see the place in real. Do you remember when it will open? In 11 days we will surely see a gigantic construction site. Smart idea to sell even more sets only in Billund.
  6. Will there be a prize? Yes, the winner may choose one of these: So let's get ready, the countdown starts tomorrow!
  7. Did you ever see a MINILAND figure with face? Great idea, but I am referring to this suit:
  8. Yep, that's exactly the hat I own, too. So congrats, you are proud owner of an original Lego-piece.
  9. The rules: Find out, what the connection of the shown set to 10 is. - find the same relation that came to my mind and you'll receive 3 points. - find other facts related to 10 and you'll receive 1 point for each fact. The participant with the most points at day zero wins. (who would have thought)
  10. There have been several Stetsons made by LEGO, but to be sure a photo from the underside would help. From the photo shown I'd say it's one of those.
  11. And now I'm proud to present you the host of this show. It's none other than the fabulous, magnificent and good-looking MINILAND Holodoc :
  12. So what is this 10 about? The countdown once again will be held as quiz. (Do I hear "hurray"? ) The host of this quiz (revealed later) will on each day show a set which is somehow related to "10", may it be the number of sold sets of that kind or whatever came to my crazy mind. Your task will be to find out how/what the relation to 10 is. That's it for today - stay tuned.
  13. Hi everybody! I believe it's time to heaten up the remaining days with a nice tradition: The annual countdown until the beginning of the event. The countdown won't start right now - it's still 15 days, so don't complain - but I want to give some background information from today on what you can expect. Just to tease you and to water you mouths. Today I'll show you what the 'spirit' of every single day from 10 to 0 is going to be: Simple - it's our 10th event.
  14. 4 - 1 26 - 1 30 - 1 32 - 1 38 - 1 39 - 1 A lot really nice entries here. Well done!
  15. Is yet again counting... :-)))

  16. You are absolutely right. They only sell LEGO and you maybe find some useful (used) bricks in their wide assortment. I really enjoyed my stay there when I was visiting Berlin two years ago. The staff is very friendly and I think some are known in the AFOL community 1000steine.de. The bad thing: It's not close to the center of Berlin.
  17. The set is Stephanies Bakery Stand.
  18. How did you know? Yes - two for me please.
  19. I'm not the host of this great competition, but: Let's say the end of friday? So you are only disqualified I just wonder where the overseas' architecture competitors are... Well, it's Eurobricks after all.
  20. Just in time homoludens from 1000steine.de posted some parts, which are available right now in the Fabrik (pic1) and in the BigBox in the bargain tent (pic2). For your convenience I re-post the pics here: and But I don't know if we can let your mother dig through the piles of Lego searching for a certain piece. It surely will.
  21. I would have preferred to actually swap them with Romans, so I haven't thought yet about selling them. Normally I look for the average price at BL to determine the selling price. Does that sound fair? EDIT: I had a look at the BL-prices. The price for a Spartan (12,75$) is 150% compared to the price of the Roman (8,15$)? Insane... My offer (line one) stays the same though.
  22. Two more poly's I am looking for (if they are not sold in Legoland...): and
  23. WANT! Rolli, for me 6 Huskies and 2x the friend's animals please . Thank you.
