Lego Mosaic - Girl with a pearl earring Vermeer
Holodoc replied to alanboar HK's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wonderful mosaic, Alan! Ah, this makes me thinking of doing something similar... ...if I had more time - and 1x1 plates of course. And thank you Stinky as well for digging up this topic again with another very clever mosaic. Do you have more of that kind?- 33 replies

Hi Adam! The LEGO company doesn't produce old gray any more for quite some time now. So this is of course LBG.- 228 replies

After talking a lot with Bonaparte, he convinced me to join this fabulous program. There is always something interesting to learn, be it the photographing skills (my background on photos is not the consistent white I want it to have , and there is lot to improve writing in a foreign language...) And how could I say "no" when Pandora is the doorman lady in this topic?

Review Review: 70816 Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!

Once more an AWESOME review, thanks for putting 20 hours of work in it, Rufus! I of course don't know how long it took you, but it looks like 20 hours. So finally the set came to its best possible owner, congrats again for winning the speed-build. The sticker sheet is a big letdown. How wonderful would have been if all parts were printed. For me as massive Classic Space collector when I was 10-14 a sure buy (but not for 899 DKK ). Let's see what the German retail price is going to be.- 228 replies

I am the person who luckily got a surplus of 16 yellow 1x6 bricks, I think I will open a Bricklink shop now. BUT exactly the same bricks are missing in my set, too! I must have been a very good boy the last days, because my extras are: 1 lbg 2x6 plate 1 red headlight brick 10 yellow 1x2 bricks the 16 yellow 1x6 bricks mentioned above 12 yellow 1x1 tiles 1 yellow 1x3 brick 11 yellow 1x3 inverted slopes 1 yellow 1x2x3 slope 1 yellow double cheese 34 yellow 1x1 bricks 1 black 1x2 inverted slope 1 green 2x4 plate [end of list] Anyone up for swapping per post? Continental eventees preferred...

Back home (we were so lucky not to be with 5 people in the car ). One hard day of work already. Anyway: Big THANKS to Copmike an Boney, Kim and Jan. This event really set a new record and will not be beaten for a long time. WOW! Thanks to all the eventees for being such easy and friendly people - making this forum a nice place to stay: Well said!

Wow, being at the event is so time consuming... To bring this to an end, here are the final results: (this computer at Legoland village is skipping every second letter I write, so this gong to take a while. ) Skalldyr - 1 MstrOfPppts - 4 (one for the right answer and 1 fun point) Lågo (where is the 'at' on a danish keyboard layout?) - 3 points So we have a winner: SKALLDYR wit a fabulous amout of 30 points! Congratulations to the winner and a big thank you to all participants!
-
Final day - final points! Or: Can anybody beat Skalldyr?

Spoilsport! It's all because he wrote

You heartless and therefore bad, bad guy, you hurt the minifig!

10 of the day was 10 stickers on the DSS Points: Skalldyr - 11 MstrOfPppts - 1 (no bin, no hex) and I should delete all your points for splitting the minifig! Ouch! Rick - 1 If the minifig told you, the tank held 10 liters... the fig would have lied and you would have gotten the point. Fun point If it was 10 cents exactly, the point would be yours. Total: 29 Skalldyr 20 Quarryman 17 Rick 12 MstrOfPppts 11 Redhead 6 Rolli 5 L@go 1 mechamike 1 Scubacarrot 1 LasseD 1 Bfenz

Dear contestants! This contest has been so hilarious that I have decided to give away 1 fun point per day for the last 3 days (Monday - Wednesday). These points do count on the final bill, so give your best. Thanks for your posts today. I had so much fun reading all the posts - you really made my day! 10 of the day was 10 different colors included in this set Points: Quarryman - 5 Legogal - 1 easily given more honorary point I would have been more impressed, if you had bought 10 copies of the Big Ben architecture set though. Skalldyr - 9 (no points for the tile modified. Can you beat 10? ) Rick - 1 Fun point MstrOfPppts 1 You are not really asking me, are you? Nice details, but what is the relation to 4095? Total: 20 Quarryman 18 Skalldyr 15 Rick 11 Redhead 11 MstrOfPppts 6 Rolli 5 L@go 1 mechamike 1 Scubacarrot 1 LasseD 1 Bfenz

Eurobricks Event 2014 - Information Topic
Holodoc replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
I had a second look at the weather forecast: Don't expect temperatures above 16°C, it is going to be partly cloudy and sunny with a slight chance of rain every day. I think we can leave the suncream at home. But does that bother? No. -

Your purpose - my question: 0101 ? -
Here are my modulars: All originals + one MOC + one MOD - the XXL-Grand Emporium. The Parisian restaurant is soon to follow.

Okay, but until now we always counted the leftovers (= complete set), too.
