  1. I do have a black technic arm! Never thought this would be useful to anyone. But I just can't toss away any LEGO. I'll post a pic tomorrow. Any other goodies in the Daily Mail?
  2. This week's special offers: real,- or - 24,95 € each or - 7,99 € each or - 14,99 € each or only TODAY - 25% off special sets @ Galeria Kaufhof. (Chima: 70143, 70141 / Star Wars: 75028, 75035, 75036 / Creator: 31019, 31021/ Ninja Turtles: 79115, 79116, 79117, 79119, 79121) Order yourself or let me know if I shall order for you.
  3. Me, me, me! Thanks! As long as we are getting 7 vouchers, we all should be save.
  4. That is bad new, indeed. The updated list of eventees is 1/ Christian 2/ Peppermint_M 3/ Rolli 4/ Aredhel 5/ Cecilie 6/ Ace 7/ Quarryman 8/ Holodoc 9/ Lucas (son of Holodoc) 10/ Elias (son of Holodoc) 11/ Miss Kyle (Friday and Saturday) 12/ Matt (husband of Miss Kyle) 13/ MstrOfPppts 14/ BobThePom (only Saturday) If you are standing on the list and don't intend to join us, or if you are missing anyone on the list, please let me know! BobThePom - I haven't heard much of you lately, would you please confirm your participation? Thanks. So we are somehow back to the roots - what the number of eventees is concerned. But nevertheless the organization team is already working out the last details. It will be different from the last time for sure, but will it be less great? I am sure it won't! Rolli and I have worked out some nice surprises - we are not going to tell more, are we, Rolli? For now I'd like to make a short summary what the shirts are concerned: I believe everybody who wrote to want an event-shirt wants a 'normal' embroidered EB-logo on the front, right? If not, please let us know! Cecilie and Ace, Rolli: We need your decision on colour and size Quarryman: Size L, but what colour? MstrOfPppts: Size L, white Aredhel: The manufacturer also offers hoodies... Peppermint, Christian and MissKyle/Matt don't want anything? And finally Christian is still looking for a room-mate. MstrOfPppts or Quarry - what did you order at the hotel? Would there be space to squeeze in ( ) Christian?
  5. Collect them. Eat as much as you can. Have your familiy supplied with a years-ration! (if that is the correct word) Valid for two adults or the 'normal' one adult - one child voucher? Any nice LEGO offers in the U.K. at the moment? And one further question for Peppy: If we are going to London - probably by train - would it be smart to book that train now, or in the next days? In Germany you get a lot off the normal fare if you buy in advance.
  6. Do we have any information about tickets to the park? Special offers to get in cheaper, or something like that? Peppy - any local offers (on cheese boxes, newspapers, vouchers in magazines... whatsoever)?
  7. Here are some deals from different German shopping sites. If you wish I can pick the sets up and bring them to Windsor - in limited numbers. for 25 € or for 16,99€ (each) You may want to look at mytoys.de for their special offerings. TODAY (and just TODAY) they have 20% off all LEGO Star Wars sets. So hurry! S@H also have their May the 4th promotion: 10% on special sets. More to follow soon... EDIT: TrU Germany offers 20% off Star Wars until Wednesday!
  8. Next year - according to the normal schedule - we'll be in Billund again. Start saving for the trip (and the big shopping bag).
  9. I must admit I'm not particularly fond of the older Technic sets, but Rolli already wanted to see the list, so I will keep an eye on it, too. Maybe there are some interesting parts I could use. Sidenote: Please read your messenger, Miss Kyle!
  10. Concerning the shirts, I have got this information: "The stitching company have both the standard and 10th anniversary logo on file. Depending on how busy they are and stock levels they normally take a week or a bit more". For all of you who want (another ) shirt, please tell us what logo, the color of the shirt and the size you'd like to have. Standard logo: 10th anniversary logo: I will keep this offer open until next weekend. This should be enough to have them produced and delivered to Rolli who will kindly bring them to the event. News on the prices later on but you may want to check last year's topic for further information. Checking last years event topics, I would like to invite everyone to bring their sigfig again. Who (still) needs a magnet for the event-badge (1x8 brick)?
  11. As we are getting closer to the event, I start planning a bit: - when are you arriving in Windsor? - how are you travelling, i.e. how many cars do we have? - can I pick up somebody from the airport? I am planning on arriving in Windsor at about 5 o'clock in the afternoon and on the way we pass Heathrow. On that ride there will be only one place left in the car, but I still can go back to Heathrow another time. - is everybody staying in the Oakley Court Hotel? If not, where? - does anybody want event-shirts? @ greg3 and BobThePom (who are new to the event): What questions do you have?
  12. Are you sure you posted in the right topic? This is for eventees joining in Windsor on our 11th event in June.
  13. This is absolutely amazing! Once again I am astonished to see what clever buildings people come up with. Very, very well done. Thank you so much for sharing it with us and explaining how you came to it. Much appreciated.
  14. Yep, okay! Ouch! They were selling these shipload-wise three years ago (or was that 5 years already?) in the shop in Billund. I bought 8 of them but I should have bought at least 20. So - sorry, but no, I won't sell any of those.
  15. Depends on the price. I am planning to do another marble run (like the one in my signature), so I could use quite a bit of those. Let's say 60? Well, I missed your post, too. In the meantime I found something else I would like to get my hands on: Master Builder Academy Level 3 Minifig (can come without backpack). I was stupid enough NOT to buy this in Billund last year. EDIT: I just realized you have become an ambassador! Congratulations!
  16. Hello all eventees! With almost two months to go, it's time to start the annual trading post for this years event. So if you have some sets/minifigs/parts you want to sell to other eventees, or if you are looking for a specific set/minifig/part, this is the right place to raise your voice. So I had a look at my closet and found out that I have waaay to many polybags : So if you think you might want one of these, let me know. I have one clear direction: I demand 35% off the average BL price. For example polybag 30141 (the ADU jet pack) is at 6,21€ (avg. price) - making it 4,03€ for you. If you think that's not fair, well - you can still drop me note. And there are a couple of things I'd like to have: One or two Technic Control Center II: And if you have riggid hoses 3mm in a length longer than 20cm (regardless of the colour) - I want! Maybe this list will get longer... So: Happy trading!
  17. Finally, a wonderful group arrived at my place: Thank you big time, Mike!
  18. We (Aredhel + my two sons) will arrive around late afternoon coming by car/tunnel. Maybe we can pick someone up from the airport - I 'll have to check that. Too bad, you two can't make it to the event, Redhead and Morten!
  19. Thank you for the update, Copmike! It IS appreciated, rest assured.
  20. Sure you have to extra special... ... at least that's what I keep saying to myself... I think it's like Rolli said: The interconnecting room makes the difference. But go and try it yourself - I just emailed them about my matter.
  21. Booked and confirmed! Time to get (a little) excited!
  22. I'd like to book my room. For me and my sons it will be 1080 GBP for all four nights and there is one free bed left over... So if anyone is interested to share the twin room with me (my sons will sleep in the interconnecting double)? It will cost you 270 GBP, so make a small bargain while the official costs pointed out by Copmike are slightly higher. Volunteers?
  23. Thanks for the review, and yes, the gator part is really helpful!
  24. I am in, this time with my two sons (Lukas, aged 16 by then and Elias, 12 by June). So I need to get accomodation for three. The hotel's website shows unavailable rooms for that date (and all other dates as well) - is that correct, or is that just my browser fooling me?
  25. So the only thing we need to know is: Where can I get this little mischief?
