Any news or photos on Toy Fair London or NYC??
Brainbox replied to gusmoore17's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm a little scared by all this chrome. It's just a bit overbearing after the usual '2 pieces every couple of years' policy. ;-) My thoughts exactly, especially the smaller one. They're cute, dinky and just generally great. Besides, the best things come in small packages. -
Had a panto rehersal today (yes I know panto season's over). So, we're performing a week on Thursday, that's 10 days, and let's just say... we're not really ready. There are some members of the cast that don't know their lines ( 8-

And there's the added dimension that he's probably the only Bat-villain that truly scares Batman*. *Not counting Scarecrow with his hallucinogenics. -
And of course with this being Lego, those problems can easily (well, that depends) be smoothed out. Sigh, I sense I'll be hard pushed to find money and shelf space this year...
-
Yeah, that's what I meant. Add an ice cream machine and a side window if possible. Sigh... *wub* I assumed it was just the banner, as there're ones for Indy and Speed Racer as well.

You're welcome. Although with all the silver, I sense 'undercover' isn't a term the Agents are all too familiar with. :-D The new sharks look quite nice, as are the cyborg attatchments, especially that chainsaw arm *wub* Hang on, those crocodiles are dark green! I love Lego dark green! -
Here's a new pic of some of the stuff from this years Advent Calendar: http://toyfair08.asmzine.com/gallery/lego/...s/DSC03714.html Aww, a cat stuck up a tree. And how big is that snowman?! There's a few pics of the Coastguard stuff here and here as well.

There're some more new pics here, including shots of all 3 new sets: tank-thing, big ship (plus the ship that comes with it. Look at the Commander) and mech/alien ship (and transformed... erm, yeah).

There're a few pics of Agents from Toy Fair that have appeared here. I quite like it. Some of the stickers are a little garish, but I can always just leave them off. The car looks quite nice, and appears to be silver. The large(ish) plane looks pretty decent too. In fact, they all look nice in their own way. Here's hoping for even more pics.

If it is new, and that wouldn't surprise me with this year's sets, then that's good too. Nah, it's going on mine. The ice cream trigger would annoy me, and I'd ratherhave a serving window if at all possible. Yeah, but at least we're getting a new suit. Couple of new pictures here, including more of Harley, a slightly blurry Tumbler, and a little bit of box-art (well, the bottom corner).

Oh, the anticipation... Doesn't matter, there are some new pics already here: http://toyfair08.asmzine.com/gallery/lego/index.html There's a general gallery with some City, MM, Castle and... Agents ( *y* ), as well as second galleries for Indy, SW and Bionicle. Agents really does look rather nice. Some of the stickers are perhaps a bit excessive, but as they're stickers they become a matter of choice. We look to be getting some nice new hair molds, which is great. -
What the?! :-D Anyway, thanks Sam. There's some nice pictures in there, and it's good to get a look at the V-19 wing mechanism. The AT-TE and RGS are looking nicer and nicer with every new pic, while the potential damage to my wallet is getting greater and greater. The RGS has a ridiculous number of storage area and moving panels, which is fantastic, as I really like moving panels and hidden areas. The AT-TE is pretty big, and also looks pretty sweet. Not too fussed on the Magna Guard fighter or the V-19, but that doesn't mean they're bad, it's just personal taste. And the figures, well, they're all just *wub*

You mean on the Batcycle? Because it's the new Batsuit we're getting. A TDK-style suit, but in dark grey not black. No, I don't know either. Still, it's nice regardless.
-
Yes, I noticed the inside. Looks a bit cramped, but at least it's there. And I guess submarines aren't exactly spacious anyway. You mean you want a standard black hairpiece? No no no, you want the coiffure from the Batcave. Such a fantastic hairpiece, and I'd be able to use it for something more than I would the standard hairpiece. Ah, I think I see my corrupting, fan-boy influence at work. ;-) And you can just about see it here. The ice cream is the trigger, you can see it attatched to the launcher in the aforementioned pic.

Well, bear in mind that the Speed Racer stuff is based on the new film, which is live-action rater than animated. And I eagerly anticipate the new pics of the rest of the stuff shown. Here's hoping we get some good pics of Agents. -
Yeah, I am normally more open-minded with regards reinterpretations, but I'm just not sure here. Guess I'm an enigma wrapped in a riddle...

Yeah, thanks mate. I can't wait either... pity I'll have to. I was wondering about that too. If it's a 'big time' baddie it'll be someone iconic, someone who's really dangerous. So I don't know. Maybe Ra's? Or Bane? -
I was admiring the hairpiece as well. I think it might be a new mold. Certainly, nothing we've seen before immediately springs to mind. Looking at the box-art pics we've already seen, there look to be quite a few new hair molds. In fact, there seem to be a lot this year in general, both hair and hats.

Surely you know by now it's because we're Bat-fans, and in some cases comic geeks. It's therefore our job to complain when anythng uncharacteristic or out-of-continuity appears, like Bats using missiles. Or is it because we're AFOLs? It's therefore our job to complain about any use of flick missiles and/or rubber shooters by TLC. Don't worry, I will.

:-D Yeah, I saw it. Made me laugh. -
This pic of the inside of the Mobile HQ seems to have cropped up, apparantly from Toy Fair: http://www.flickr.com/photos/joeljohnson/2271596875/ Sorry, I couldn't get the pic in. Still, look at that laptop *wub*

The big ship does look quite nice in a OTT sort of way. The mech isn't bad either. Pity these are the only pics though. EDIT: Some more new pictures here

I agree. If the distribution is more wide-scale this year though, we should see plenty of everything.
