Ooo, good pull! I was thinking that his head and maybe his torso could be nice for Black Lightning. That head's going to be an especially nice one to have, since it looks like under that cowl he has a domino mask on. Come to think of it, that torso might even work for a Static minifig! It's not exactly what Virgil wears, but it's got the right colors and imagery to be a decent fill-in! And that head would be downright perfect for Icon!

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
Numbuh1Nerd replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Truth be told, I'd much rather they take some of the existing accessories and just make them in trans green, like that cool staff thingy that Sinestro had in the last set. Baseball bats, those fist pieces, maybe a chainsaw, fun stuff like that. I'll take whatever Green Lantern stuff they're willing to give, though! -
Possibly! I'd give it a try, but I don't have those legs I've seen a lot of Shazam figures, but while most of them go for more of a "dorky Superman" vibe, yours actually looks kinda badass?? It's hard to quantify it, but your Shazam actually looks really cool, and I love it! Black Canary and Wonder Girl are really nice, too, and that's a really interesting and unique angle on Penguin, too! Great stuff!

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

Sounds about right. I mean, they're in all three of the new sets, even when they only barely make sense. If there's a character you wanna see and they could use either those or the new lightning bolts - bonus points if they're in Justice League Action - then you might just be in luck. -

I used to be very against the idea of making the rings actual pieces, but that handle piece seems perfect for a good, sensible Lantern ring. I'd love to see that. I'd hit up Bricklink for those guys. Supergirl might be back sooner than later, but I'd say the others aren't going to make a reappearance for a while. I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to wait to see what next summer has in store, though, since that's a real wild card. It's certainly unclear whether or not that falls into the license-specific mold category, since it isn't terribly specific. If they use it anywhere in the DC line, though, it'll probably be on a new Deathstroke figure. If not soon, then definitely when they do whatever movie is supposed to feature Deathstroke in it now. First off: that suit is a dream come true!! I'd say, though, that the tv show won't mean much in terms of toys, save for maybe some DC Legends figures. It's not like it's on cable or Netflix - putting it on that private streaming service makes its tie-in appeal extremely limited. I'd say the same applies to Young Justice at this point, although that Teen Titans Go movie is bound to get us something, albeit probably featuring figs in the same style as the show and the Dimensions packs. I'd say there's a good 20% chance that we get loose tie-in sets with the Titans in them instead of a proper TTG sub-theme, and even then, it'll probably only warrant one new figure: Raven. (and if I set my expectations that low, there's always the potential that they could exceed them! #KidFlash&Speedy2018!!) -
Yeah, the Wolverine torso is Light Orange, and the legs have the traditional minifig yellow.
-
That's a great pull! Even the legs are perfect! I'm loving those figs, Drsam92! Old Man Logan is fantastic, and I love that Beast! It reminds me of Beast from the Whedon era, when he looked like a big cat! Red Tornado's really interesting, too! That torso is more fitting than a lot of others I've seen, but I can't quite figure out what about it feels so much more Red Tornado-y?? Great work, all around!

In honor of the most wonderful time of the year, Arrowverse crossover week, I give you the Heroes and Villains of Crisis on Earth-X!!
-
Two new DC villains: Murmur and Everyman! I've got some new figs planned for tomorrow, too, and maybe a handful of Marvel ones in the not too distant future!

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Numbuh1Nerd replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
For one, there hasn't been a leak of Clock King, just a rather convincing custom. For another: the back of that head doesn't have the eye indentations. I'd bet they just printed on the back. I think the point is that Lego's still going to sell plenty of those sets if people are buying them to part out on the aftermarket, so by buying the figures on the aftermarket you're still financially encouraging sale of the set? -

I'm absolutely in love with every last one of these figs, save for maybe the Harley Quinn and Killer Moth figures, and those are mostly just because I'd rather see something else in there slot *cough* Batman Beyond and Agent Smith *cough cough*. We've got the perfect Killing Joke Joker, a wonderful Black Canary, the Wonder Twins, Apache Chief, and Black Vulcan all looking fantastic, absolutely lovely Zod and Jor-El minifigs (that I'm only slightly bitter about being released just after I posted this), a long-awaited Hugo Strange figure, a wonderful Clock King, and some fun-looking beach variants with some nice new or expensive parts! I have my nitpicks, of course, like Jan not coming with Gleek the monkey, the exclusion of Samurai, our last remaining Super Friend, and Jor-El's crystal piece not being the same one from the movie, but I'll be hunting down every last one of these guys if it's the last thing I do! (also: check out Black Vulcan's kickass new lightning molds! Those look fun!) -

Why would you apologize for this magnum opus That's not a bad idea. Of course, a Halloween theme would make me more inclined to use characters like Klarion the Witch Boy and Etrigan and Deadman, but if they really wanted to get the Dark Matter Batmen in some sets, that'd be the way to do it. I think, apart from the LBM stuff and our Mighty Micros, we've seen all the DC we're going to see. We've already got official images of the 3 sets of the winter wave, and that's all we have coming until presumably the summer wave. -

Ha! That's pretty nuts! It wouldn't be too hard to pull off, either, if they utilize the same techniques that they used to make the Giant-Man and Ares builds. I'm not sure they'd go for it, especially not if they intended to keep the Dark Nights Metal connection, but I'd be down for it! Come to think of it, judging by how much Lego loves their Bat-variants, DNM would make for a nice, pretty marketable wave. I mean, excluding the tortured monstrosities that are the Batman Who Laughs' Robins, and maybe names like "The Drowned", "Red Death", and "Murder Machine" -

The same guy that leaked Crazy Quilt on Instagram posted screencaps from the movie, marketing materials, or the art book. One picture was of Zod, another was of Zod and a mummy, so I'm assuming that means that the mummy is the focus of that one. Apart from including Gentleman Ghost and Captain Boomerang, who we know are coming in the Harley set and the Bat-buggy respectively, his list matched up pretty well with what we already knew from previous leaks, just with new inclusions. Granted, I could be misinterpreting the information, it probably wouldn't hurt to double-check with him. -

Just saw a new list of CMFs on Instagram! Among everything we already knew about, it seems the implication is that we're getting the Silent But Deadly suit, the Leprechaun suit, the Batriot, the mummy, Jor-El, Agent Smith, Zod, Clock King, the Mariachi suit, Hugo Strange, the Wonder Twins, Black Canary, and maybe Cyborg and/or Black Vulcan?? -

I really love that Captain Boomerang fig, and Crazy Quilt's about what I expected. Wonder Dog is surprising, though. I figured they would use the newer dog pieces they used on Scooby-Doo and on Krypto, but they actually did just make a cape you could force around the classic dog mold! -

That's not the first time - remember the Milano? "Under a blacklight this place looks like a Jackson Pollock painting." Probably just best to disinfect all of your Marvel spaceship interiors Really? Valkyrie's ship didn't impress me much. It just kinda looks like the Bat from Dark Knight Rises but in gray.- 5,808 replies

Here me out: Tim Burton's Bat-Mite -
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The era of Squirrel Girl is upon us, blessed are the true believers ? #EatNutsKickButts2018 I can't remember if this was a known thing or not, but the character customizer also seems to let you change the colors of certain parts, i.e. Hawkeye's cowl! Ahh!! <33

I'd be down for a new Joker, although I'm not too sure what variants they could do here that they haven't already done. Joker's design only changes subtly in the comics (unless it gets gruesome, like in the New 52) and most cartoons and games maintain a traditional design. That is, save for The Batman...! I'd buy that Joker in a heartbeat! I think I do, and I think you're probably right. Maybe before too long DC will give us a new lady Robin so we can at least have the torso to make our own? Ooo, wait! Best of both worlds idea! We get a set with a loose DKR inspiration! Slightly different Batman, Carrie Kelley as Robin, and Joker in the white suit! Maybe make it the tank-looking Batmobile from Miller's books, even! ...yeah, I'll just bring some blankets on my way down.. -

I'm absolutely loving this Jason figure! Now to wait on a Stephanie Brown ? -
More leaks have revealed a Jason Todd Robin minifigure is on the way! We'll be getting a head with a red domino mask, the perfect touch for any Roy Harper figures! Plus, that means we'll be missing only one canonical Robin minifigure: Stephanie Brown! How's that for a prompt?
-
There's a new Nexo Knights Jester head that would make a great Earth-3 Joker! It's a lot like the Joker's usual print, but a lot more heroic!
