  1. Or perhaps in exchange for some free DEMON HEART?!
  2. What if this figure is only exclusive because of the pieces? Like, what if we'll get him with a different head with different expressions? Granted, I'd feel pretty cheated if I got the Limited Edition version that's literally just a pre-exiting figure and not the fresh, new one that everyone else has, but boy wouldn't that be nice for us!
  3. Is he exclusive, though? This could just as easily be an early release. That does seem to imply that we'll be getting figures without builds, though..
  4. I think what's more likely is Disney/Pixar being on franchise and Indiana Jones being another, although all of this seems pretty unlikely. What a way to make headlines that would be, though! And would that make this the first time Marvel and DC characters appeared in a game together?
  5. I'm fairly certain it's just a torso with short legs. That's what it looks like in the promo art we've seen, anyway.
  6. I've got four more that I just realized I hadn't uploaded yet! Aqualad (Kaldur'ahm) Superboy (90's) Zatara Human Bomb
  7. I'm not sure how that works, actually. We haven't seen any franchise make its debut in Dimensions and then go to sets yet. I'd imagine that if that were true then there'd be an actual line of Doctor Who sets announced by now. It's also worth pointing out that there were already full prints made for a Beast Boy figure and yet they still made an entirely new one to match the Go! design better, likely for the sake of tying it closer to the show but also for maintaining his exclusivity in the Jokerland set, so maybe we'll see them do the same thing with Raven in the other direction?
  8. Oh yeah, they have to market for a Spider-Man movie. He's way too big a cash cow not to. Actually, looking at next year's release schedule, I doubt we'll be getting ANY comic-based sets next year. We've got Guardians 2, Homecoming, and a Thor/Hulk team-up. Homecoming will probably get the majority of sets, and Guardians will take whatever slots are left with one saved for Ragnarok.
  9. Got a few new guys! Alan Scott Astra (from Supergirl) Spoiler Robin and Spoiler
  10. What kills me the most here is that I made a vow not to buy Teen Titans Go merch, since bad toy sales are the leading cause of death in animated series. I stayed strong through Pop! Vinyls, but maybe I can talk myself into making this an exception..
  11. Really not a fan of her torso print, despite it's accuracy to the show, Here's hoping Raven makes an appearance in a set soon. The real Raven.
  12. Nah, I'm fairly certain that LegoCityNut is right on this one. Out of all the packs I have, the only ones with second faces are the pre-existing figures, like Batman, Wyldstyle, Wonder Woman, etc.. New figures or figures that didn't have them previously aren't going to have them here.
  13. I'm calling it right here: SDCC Gwen Stacy fig. Only the few may fully enjoy the DIY Gwen Stacy Murder Machine. So it is written.
  14. Ooo yeah, definitely getting the Mission Impossible pack now! Short Sleeves AND the perfect final piece for Harrison Wells! And we even have an official wheelchair now...! I think our next be challenge, though, is perfecting this new Raven figure, making her the one, not that we deserve, but need right now
  15. I thought Beast Boy had full-length legs in the trailer? lol That is...pretty conservative. Not even a glimpse at the all-too-provocative nose! I'm just afraid that Raven's torso will have the same lack of detail that Beast Boy's does. It's almost like a Mighty Micros figure.
  16. Ooo, I forgot about that! What I wish they would do, and what this might indicate, is that they'd make physical figures out of the other Ghostbusters and the Doctors and any other character with a similar ability that run on the same or similar base to the released ones and make them into Fun Packs. Minifig folk get their figures, the broke ones get their Ghostbusters and Doctors, and the rest of us have an easier time getting the whole team together in the game! Plus it'd be relatively cheap and easy to produce, essentially making extra cash with little to no coding involved. Maybe it's just a spare head in the set, like Captain Marvel's mask? If you haven't noticed, Nintendo's not been doing too hot lately. The Wii U was a huge financial failure, and even their foray into mobile hasn't been too great so far, with Miitomo basically disappearing from the public consciousness after week. They'll survive, sure, but in a time of corporate struggle like this, letting characters they've so famously protected for decades appear on other consoles could easily be construed as a sign of weakness and doubt. Besides, it's not like Microsoft lets Halo out of their sight. Everybody wants their IPs to stay exclusive. Once you can get your Zelda fix from someone else, whether Nintendo's getting a cut or not, they're staring down the barrel. Exclusive, beloved IPs are how they stay competitive, because they're always more risky with hardware, which has scared off third party developers. So yeah, Nintendo is tremendously unlikely. Let's get real though: they got Midway Arcade. I didn't even know who they were outside of one or two cheap machines that rotate through my local pizza joints, and none of those games are represented here. If they were gonna get Nintendo, it would've been when they were shopping around for retro game licenses, but no, not even Atari wanted in on that. There's no way in hell that Midway was their first pick. I doubt her gadget will be a time-turner, since that's...not much of a build. Not without it being wildly inaccurate in size. AT3 definitely means a third Adventure Time pack. They wouldn't change the abbreviation like that. Perhaps, but we still haven't seen Chris Hemsworth's character, I'd say he has to show up sooner than later. Not super sure about a level pack. Probably just a fun pack like A-Team, since Knight Rider is a more obscure IP and has essentially nothing else for a second build. I'm fairly certain that the level packs are the "connectables" we heard about earlier, and I don't know enough about Fantastic Beasts to make a call on the characters.
  17. I think Skylanders and Minecraft are the precedents in this case. Yeah, Nintendo has characters in Skylanders, but they aren't playable on non-Nintendo systems. Minecraft has an official Mario texture pack and world...exclusively for the Wii U edition. Nintendo is branching out with their licenses, but they aren't branching out into other trees. If they can find some way to make an exclusive Mario figure/Amiibo, maybe. And doesn't Nintendo have a contract with another company for building sets? I think there were K'Nex Mario sets not too long ago..
  18. With two Teen Titans Go packs coming, do you think we're ONLY getting Raven and Beast Boy? One's clearly got to be a level pack with only one figure, but maybe the other's a team pack, maybe with Robin or Cyborg?
  19. I don't know, I'm starting to worry that next year the franchises could get TOO outlandish. Mission Impossible and Knight Rider already seem to push the line between nostalgia and irrelevance, if they keep going like this I'm really afraid that we'll start getting truly lame inclusions. If they can get Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and Marvel from Disney, maybe we can start getting a little more peace between studios here, and get more iconic franchises like Star Trek and Terminator and such. Disney could do for Dimensions what Sonic did for Smash Bros!
  20. Actually, it looks like they've reverted back to using traditional designs for them all. Ooo, actually, no, I don't want the Looney Tunes in here. I don't want them and Disney's icons in the same room together, and if we get Disney we get a lot of franchises with it. Who Framed Roger Rabbit needs to remain the only interaction between Bugs and Mickey.
  21. I hope there's a lot of content for that price. At least a full batch of levels. They say "play through the whole movie!" but that better be more in a "One third of Lego Batman" kinda way and not a "Lego Avengers DLC level" kinda way. Plus there's a whole build, so that's a bonus. Ha, I think it's safe to say that we're not getting any more A-Team packs, we'll never see Neville, and we'll be more than lucky to see Tails or Knuckles. (Though, I pray we get a level pack with Knuckles called Lego Dimensions & Knuckles )
  22. I think our next Simpsons character is more likely to be Lisa or Marge or even Maggie. Maggie would be especially great in the Battle Arena lol I'm hoping that we get Ian Malcolm for Jurassic, honestly! I don't think the character has much to do with unlocking the battle arenas though, they'll just use whoever would be the most fun to generally play as like they would when making any other pack. Good point! Don't underestimate the cultural relevance of this stuff, though. Mr. T and ET are definitely still recognizable to any kid who watches television or has an Internet connection. The benefits of parody and reference! Ha, Cartoon Network's Tumblr just uploaded this picture: How fitting!
  23. They stated that the orange bases come with arenas, and we're seeing new DC characters for certain in Green Arrow and Supergirl. There's no way they would make DC the one exception, and even so, I can't imagine them not making arenas for every property. That'd be like putting out an IP without an Adventure World, it would just be too incongruent and too disappointing to fans (and also makes a good excuse for Lego to make more products for the IPs they've already paid for). Or maybe a playable Cave Johnson! I'd much rather see a traditional companion for the Doctor than Strax. Maybe that new girl they just announced a month or so ago? Dorothy seems more likely than the Tin Man, given she IS the star of the movie.
