  1. I can't imagine a Spider-Man minifig looking any better than the one we got, especially one that's just a general Spidey and not based on a certain incarnation. I'd love to see what you guys think would make a better one, though.
  2. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, one of the two worst Daredevil costumes of all time... ARMORED DAREDEVIL!!!
  3. Savage, bro. I don't know if I haven't been paying attention or if these sets have started going really hardcore with easter eggs recently. I love it so much! Tiny bits like that really help flesh out the world and keep the builds from being generic, and it also shows that the designers really do love the material their working with. I nearly lost my mind at seeing that classic "Spider-Man: Threat or Menace?" paper under the bridge! I think the fact that we're getting sets like this that clearly have no connection to the tv show are good indicators that the Spider-Man line is going to stay pretty diverse in terms of source material. They'll manage to squeeze a wave or two of comic-based sets in there when they can, and when they do, I'm sure we'll get at least some version of Gwen Stacy, and probably Mysterio or the Lizard in there somewhere, too, since they're the two biggest Spidey rogues we've yet to see.
  4. Are there any pictures of the new Lex without that armor piece on? I'm not crazy about the lime green armor, so he'll probably be in just that purple bit more often than not if it looks halfways decent.
  5. That Hulkling blueprint is so perfect that it's killing me! I barely have any of those parts! I've been thinking about how to do a Daredevil with the Black Panther head piece, but the head really is the biggest issue. Unless...
  6. It's easier to find a generic leather jacket than one with a bat-symbol on it. Bust up an old Indiana Jones figure and you should be alright! :)
  7. Interesting. I couldn't quite tell who were the heroes and who were the villains in the Bat-tank, but it looks like Katana and Red Hood are both being considered good guys here. Actually, now that I think about it, we now have the whole main DC Superhero Girls cast in minifig form, save for Bumblebee. What are the odds that we'll see her in Suicide Squad 2? Really though, I can live with this. The only character they feature that I'd be afraid of only being a minidoll is Cheetah, and even she is pretty likely to show up sometime soon.
  8. Whichever set you buy has a lot to do with how much you love Spider-Man, I think. They're both pretty great-looking sets, but if you'd rather expand your Marvel Universe overall or fill out the Spider-Verse some more is the deciding factor. Personally, I think the Airport might be of higher priority, because I really want those Ant-Man figures and the new Scarlet Witch, but I'll be getting that Bridge as soon after that as I can, because Kraven, Scarlet Spider, and Green Goblin have been sitting on my wishlist for figures for a long time!
  9. Firefly is looking great, especially that jetpack!
  10. That Ra's figure looks pretty great, but I'll have to change that head. I expected them to use the same head as Kraven and that thug from the new Batmobile, but this is somehow worse :/ I'd say that hairpiece is gonna double as Doctor Strange's hair over on the Marvel side, though.
  11. I'm really loving these sets the more I see them. I'm probably gonna go through another hardcore Spidey phase after Civil War, and these will certainly be a big treat during that! (In the mean time, where's my Squirrel Girl figure?! )
  12. Stargirl, if you're interested in DC. Maybe Patriot from the Young Avengers? I dig!
  13. Wait, is that based on actual insider knowledge? Because I'm pretty okay with that.
  14. This Doctor Strange set sounds great! It sounds like Stephen will need some modifying, but otherwise I'm digging it! Somebody said that the window is in there, right? The Seal of Vishanti?
  15. Is the '66 Batcave the first time we've seen Thomas and Martha Wayne depicted in an actual set?
  16. I don't exactly buy it (if your casting is built on a pun, it's probably not real) but it seemed interesting that this rumor would come up as we were about to get a Vulture minifigure. Granted, we're also getting our first Hobgoblin, Kraven, and Scorpion, so that probably doesn't count for anything. I can't imagine Vulture carrying the movie just as much as I can't imagine them picking up an actor with a career as hot as Michael Keaton's for a bit role. I'd say they'll also stick with a single antagonist and absolutely no other villain cameos after all of the Spider-Man 3 and ASM2 complaints (although I will fight anyone who says that ASM2 had too many villains because of Rhino). As far as the sets are really concerned, though, I'd say that this could the last time for a long time that we see comic-based Spidey rogues, so buy those things up.
  17. Can you take off his hat?
  18. I feel like Lego games have gotten a lot more hand-holdy than they used to be. Making objects you have to break for parts glow, going from puzzles to essentially character-specific switches, it just takes a lot of the fun out of it. I'd like to get stuck on a level for a minute or two again, and not because of a bug. They put a lot of effort into new characters and writing and all of the really nerdy stuff, and I love them for it, but they really need to pick up the slack on the rest of it. Especially the bugs, though. No other game has ever glitched out on me so consistently than Lego games. Lego Marvel had one that really killed me: it didn't add the last Gold Brick to the counter, but I technically got it, so I could never get the full 100% from it.
  19. I think it's clear who the three minifigs in the Doctor Strange set are after that trailer: the Sorcerer Supreme, Baron Mordo, and their acid dealer! There's a rumor going around that Vulture will be the villain in Spider-Man: Homecoming. If that's true, it might be awhile before we see another comic-based version. Then again, it'd probably be awhile before we see any Vulture after that set if this isn't true. So I guess if you're not picky about design you might risk passing on the Doc Ock mech?
  20. Man, I wish I had those arms! What head did you use for Elongated Man, too? I like that one more than the one I'm using. Great figure, all around! Flash looks pretty great, too! Maybe just a cowl change if they ever make a CW Flash minifig, but otherwise, that's a really sick looking scarlet speedster!
  21. I'd say that Damian's gonna be the same as ever. The original figure has a scared face, which seems appropriate here. The hood seems like the only thing they might do, and even that's unlikely.
  22. Damian's a bit meh, but I don't know why I'm surprised. Desert Batman sounds cool, though. I like New 52 Red Robin :(
  23. Just submitted a suggestion for my whole "making fun packs out of the Doctor and the Ghostbusters but with new figures" idea. Maybe slipped a little something in there about a companion, a sidekick, and the fastest man alive, too Here's hoping they listen, because I need a Tenth Doctor figure more than I need air!
  24. Are there any other playable characters in the game that are also rescues? That was the big reason I kinda gave up on Clara out of the gate. I'd love to be wrong on this, though! The Doctor needs a companion!
  25. I always hold out for those DVDs to get discounted, but by the time they get cheap enough they stop packaging the minifigure with them :( The only one I've managed to get so far because of that is Trickster.
