  1. EDIT: On second thought, forget it. I can never remember how to do these tags, and it's not all that big a deal anyway. Never mind.
  2. Saw BvS last night and just WOW. It makes me really wish that we were getting a fourth set. It also makes me long for a more accurate Batman head, one with eyes and stubble. Also surprised to find out that the Batwing set isn't the Mandarin's Flaming Golf Cart I thought it'd be. No spoilers, but there is, in fact, a helicopter in this movie!
  3. The new Lego Batman Movie trailer just dropped, with a Justice League almost completely identical to the one we have already except for the addition of a classic Green Arrow, the one with the Robin Hood get-up. Seems strange if you ask me. Maybe that's who's getting saved in the Ra's set? Or maybe he'll be in the movie sets? There's a lot of Batman stuff in there that seems very much made for the movie, like the Beyond suit on display, so maybe that's just another thing they did for the movie's sake.
  4. That was just a guess, although I wouldn't complain. If there're three figures in that set, I'd say the last one is either Talia or Robin.
  5. Bane gets that big in a lot of his more recent or famous incarnations, like the Arkham games and Knightfall. Plus, it really gets the whole "uses venom, gets bigger" concept across. Doomsday really oughta get a bigfig soon, though, and maybe Atrocitus if they do another Green Lantern set, but Doomsday especially, since he's the last remaining major major Superman villain, plus he's been getting used a lot lately.
  6. Nightwing had better have more than the one face. At least just re-do the head from the New 52 Nightwing with white lenses. The cover of that also has yet another Bigfig Bane. Seems like it's about time we see that in a set. The Harley-patterned sports car also looks pretty fun, though not exactly something we'd get in a set.
  7. I hope they leave the belt off of the printing, just for the sake of having a Batman variant without a belt. With as many times as Batman's had his belt confiscated, it's about time we get the chance to play out one of those scenarios for ourselves. Plus, now we can finally do MOCs about Batman in airport security!
  8. That's a pretty accurate description of that armor lol I wish it was a more traditional green, but if nothing else there's probably a good torso underneath that'll make a more supervillainous Lex than the suit did.
  9. More Doctor Who AND Jeff Goldblum? I like the way you think! Personally though, I'd rather see Jack Harkness or River Song, or maybe even one of the companions. It'd be really nice to get a figure for one of the companions that can just turn into any of them like the Doctor can, so you can always match them up.
  10. That Nightwing actually looks pretty good to me. I kinda would've liked the traditional symbol more, but this is just fine by my standards. I'm honestly just glad to be getting him at all. Hopefully whatever he comes in will be an easy enough grab to get two: one to keep and one to use on the purist Bluebird I've been longing to make. Red Robin would be really nice. That way we'll have the Batfamily rounded out in a more current form. It's weird having two Robins at once in my display. Not sure what hair piece they would give him, though, since the one they're using on Nightwing again is so perfect for him but might confuse the youngins.
  11. Have they ever done two whole waves of movie sets for the same movie in a year? Doesn't Star Wars do that a lot?
  12. I think that's more accurate than you guys are giving them credit for. Everybody is else is really torn up about having to do this, but Cap's probably just like "Finally! An excuse to kick that guy's shiny metal megablocks!"
  13. Oh, yeah, I forgot about that. Darn. :( If they can find a way to make the likes of Bart and Homer Simpson into playable, functioning characters, they can do the same for Finn and PB. Finn could have anynumber of past magical artifacts, and PB has her science stuff. PepBut might be a little boring, but he's not the kind of character you'd play as in the story anyway.
  14. Wasn't there something said about how if some packs sold well enough that they could merit a whole game based on the franchise? I wouldn't be surprised if Adventure Time becomes one of those games. (Although I probably would've said the same for Ninja Turtles and that clearly didn't happen, despite being genius. Say, why don't they get the Ninja Turtles in on this action? I mean, sure, most of the franchises here are WB ones, but if they can get Back to the Future and Jurassic Park they could probably pull that off!)
  15. $52, eh? You're starting to sound like the CW!
  16. Maybe the fans are just going to be a clever sort of magicky stuff, or a placeholder for a new mold of magicky stuff? Or maybe even some kind of MacGuffin?
  17. The new Spidey NEEDS boot molds and arm printing. His arms have too much detail to not. I'm hoping for two heads, too; one with regular eyes and one with squinty.
  18. Printed boots like that are off waaay too often. That's why I prefer the molded ones. If nothing else, they're consistent.
  19. Those are great! Agents of SHIELD is pretty hard anyway, since the cast changes constantly. My batch has been waiting to get finished since Season 1!
  20. Mammoth is great! I didn't think he could be done well enough without a bigfig, but you pulled it off! I might have to pick up some of the Middle Earth sets now.. Fire is pretty sweet, too! She's one I've been dying to add to my collection, but I wanted to be able to do her and Ice at the same time.
  21. Aww, hey, that's my Archer! Thanks! ^_^
  22. Mr. T sounds incredible XD Let's be real, though, there's a fair bit of the characters in this game that are more oriented towards the adults anyway. Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Portal 2, and the Simpsons aren't exactly being nominated for Kids Choice Awards, y'know? Besides, Mr. T's iconic enough for a fair bit of kids to have heard of him and know the usual jokes. Sonic is blowing my mind, though. How're they gonna pull off Sonic the Hedgehog without it being reeeeeally weird? Adventure Time sounds great, and makes a lot of sense, since a bunch of these properties are based on Ideas sets and Adventure Time's had a solid handful of sets get to the review process. I wonder if Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts will share a world? Given they exist in the same universe it would make sense, but they take place in such different times and places. I think it's safe to assume that one of the Harry Potter packs will be a level pack with Harry, so maybe the second one will be a team pack with Hermione and Ron? I can't imagine them excluding those two. If Teen Titans Go! is being treated as a separate franchise, it would make sense that one of those packs would include Robin, right? Because the DC Comics Robin was taken, not this one? I'd say it's probably a bit more likely that we'll see a pack with Raven (be it a level or a fun pack) and a team pack with Beast Boy and Cyborg, since Raven's practically confirmed and BB and Cy are kinda the most popular. The new Ghostbusters stuff sounds fun, though. Do you think that we'll get the new Ecto-1 with those packs? I take it that if one of those Ghostbusters packs includes Holtzmann that they won't be doing that thing they did for the original Ghostbusters where one Peter Venkman figure unlocked the whole team? Because Melissa McCarthy's character seems like the main character in this one, so she'd have to get one, right? Speaking of, I really wish they'd release some characters in different formats. Like Peter Venkman, you'd need four of him to get the whole team of Ghostbusters on screen at once, right? So why don't they, in this new wave, release either another member of the original team with the same ability or a Peter Venkman figure as a Fun Pack, so you can actually do that in a way that makes financial sense? They could do the same thing with the Doctor: make the figure different but leave the pedestal thingy the same. I imagine they could start doing something like this once packs get discontinued, but I'd really like it to happen sooner than later.
  23. Ooo! That's Professor Lupin's torso from the Harry Potter line! I love that torso, for some reason. There's a lot of suit torsos but not a lot in that color!
