  1. I'd go back to the dawn of life and slap the first living mammal if I had to. Squirrel Girl is everything to me.
  2. Oops! Forgot to include a link HERE you go!
  3. This hair in reddish brown is probably the best for that. As for the head, Jbricks's suggestion looks pretty great, but I'd suggest the Supergirl/Scarlet Witch head as a cheaper alternative. You won't find one with the mask, though, at least not any time soon.
  4. Oh no, it works pretty well, I've just always thought that head looks eerily similar to Leonardo DiCaprio. The Ray is surprisingly getting his own show on the CW Seed, which even more surprisingly features Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters, so I figured I'd take a crack at making some of them! The Ray Black Condor Firebrand
  5. Yep! There might be better torsos out there, but I had this one on hand when I was thinking about it and it has the right elements going on. That looks like the official Hawkeye torso from the Civil War set, and the head is from one of those soccer CMF figures. If Leonardo DiCaprio ever got into the superhero business, that's the head I'd be using!
  6. Here's DC's Nemesis!
  7. EDIT: just saw the mod's post, oops
  8. Do they really? Or are they just stuck with what they've been given? I'm willing to bet that a lot of the success for those sets comes down to little girls who want LEGO coupled with parents and grandparents who wouldn't dare let them step outside the pink aisle, or bought them as gifts because it's pink and of course that means she'll like it, or that both of those things over the course of several years have ultimately resulted in girls who've accepted those cultural fences built around them and continue to feed into the gender-biased market. But that's just a theory.. I've kept up with the show (it's pretty cute and really simple, nothing extraordinary) and it's actually pretty mellow about that sorta thing. The color variation depends mostly on what characters are being represented. For example, Harley has a lot of red and white, circusy elements, while Batgirl deals primarily in purple. The school, likely the biggest set, is really ornate and kind of modern. Imagine a Disney palace but with a lot more window-walls. The character variety is also pretty great, so apart from our initial heroes, we're likely to see Cheetah and Granny Goodness on the villain side and, if they breach the main cast, Star Sapphire, Hawkgirl, Amanda Waller, Gorilla Grodd, and perhaps even Crazy Quilt. Beast Boy, Green Lantern, Flash, Catwoman, and Starfire make notable appearances, and the backgrounds are positively littered with iconic characters both new and old (I saw Bunker back there! BUNKER!!), so this theme could provide us with some pretty great figures down the line, and with some fun parts to customize the existing ones, thanks to the unique designs.
  9. That's a really good Mole Man! Have you tried Captain Cold's head, though? I think the glasses might be a little more accurate, but sometimes an inaccurate head can look better than an accurate one.
  10. God bless! Down with minidolls! I don't know if the figures will be any good on their own, but we've already got every main character in comics-fashion but Bumblebee, so if nothing else the Purist Custom side of things will have a heck of a time with them!
  11. The new Doc Ock legs are Bright Green, so your options are very limited. There doesn't seem to be a good head for the mask, and the closest torso I could find is the Twitch torso from Toy Story. This is more of an idea than anything, but here's Duela Dent!
  12. The only thing that makes it look like Carrie is the glasses instead of the mask. Everything else about him is classic Dick Grayson.
  13. They aren't great, but this is what I managed to pull together.
  14. Thanks, dude! If they ever come out with a yellow hood, I might try to blend my two Hourman designs together. The traditional one I'm using is mostly just like that for the sake of having a stronger yellow presence in my display.
  15. Oh yeah, and I've also got a Legends of Tomorrow Hourman and Spider-Man India!
  16. It is 1 AM, and I just did something big and dumb. I present to you, the Justice Society of America! Some of these I've uploaded before, many are new, and a couple are still on the path to improvement. We've got: Doctor Mid-Nite, Obsidian, Sandman, Alan Scott, Stargirl, Jay Garrick, Wildcat, Ma Hunkel, Hourman, and the official Hawkman thrown in for good measure.
  17. You can check out the concept art here along with the sources for the Shocker and Tinkerer confirmations. We also have some names for the rest of the cast, including Liz Allen, Flash Thompson, and two supposedly new characters named Michelle and Ned. So, I wouldn't get your hopes up for a Gwen Stacey or MCU Mary Jane figure any time soon, and Flash might not look like the one you've come to know, as he's played by Tony Revolori. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that Vulture's wings are probably gonna be brick-built. I can't imagine how they'll make a mold for wings that also includes turbines.
  18. I know I'll be swapping out the head and cowl on this new Batgirl minifig with my old one to make the Batgirl of Burnside costume. It's as close as we're gonna get without them outright releasing a Batgirl of Burnside figure (which I would be a billion percent okay with).
  19. Those Brickheadz sets are pretty neat. If nothing else, a couple of those would look nice on a desk. That Wonder Woman image is really great. That would make for a nice collector's item, though: a minifigure set featuring iconic designs for one character, kinda like those Ninja Turtle action figure sets. Maybe not quite so detailed as the image is, but with the characteristics of each generation's designs.
  20. The general DCSG toys are no longer Target exclusive, so I wouldn't be surprised if we hear something sooner than later now.
  21. As far as heads, I'd maybe try the Sakaaran heads from Guardians. That one's a toughie, though.
  22. Mysterio for sure. I'd say if they keep up with the current rate of Spider-Man sets we'll see him before long. I don't get why everyone wants a Richard Rider Nova so badly? The Nova we got looks way more like him than it does Sam Alexander? At best we're dealing with a slightly different torso print?
  23. I honestly can't believe that it hasn't happened yet. They've done characters without much precedent before, like Ghost Rider, why not do the same for a character that both looks crazy cool and has a tv show? Granted, that's a tv show that small children probably shouldn't/wouldn't watch, but they'll definitely make money off of those that do, and it's not like they wouldn't be putting him in a set with Spider-Man anyway. EDIT: "Can't wait to see" probably isn't the best expression to use in a post regarding Daredevil
  24. I'm wondering what this set means for Thor: Ragnarok. Putting a set on the market that's Hulk-dominated before a big movie appearance can't be an accident. Here are my theories: A. It's a supplement. No Ragnarok sets, but probably this and a Thor-centric set. B. It's testing the waters for Lego Hulk interest. C. It's capitalizing off of the potential Hulk-amaniaTM from the movie by tossing some extra Hulks on store shelves.
  25. Nothing would make me buy a set quicker right now than an Avengers Assemble Hawkeye. That's the be-all-end-all of Hawkeye figs for me, and Hawkeye is one of my favorite characters. Only Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, or the new Ghost Rider could rival that, and 2/3 of those are painfully unlikely. The Hulk set looks really great, though! I'd be surprised to see a Hulk set, a set with two bigfigs, or a set with an equal male-to-female ratio, but all three at once?! This is incredible! Dude.
