I'm sure we'll have marketing material with all of the packs in a list like that. We'll probably see it on the Story Pack boxes, too, which I imagine will be about the size of the starter pack's box.

Hell, just do the whole Cornetto Trilogy! Without Simon yet There's always a later wave, and he's a pretty popular character with a power set that would easily transfer to the game. Speaking of, what exactly would Marcy's skill set be? She can fly, of course, and probably get disguise through shapeshifting. Maybe her bat form could be a transformation like Bane?

Brian Blessed was also Boss Nass in Star Wars (and reprised the role in some of the recent Lego Star Wars specials), Clayton from Tarzan, he was in The Avengers (not THE Avengers, but the old tv series by the same name. Wouldn't that be the funniest get of all time?) AND he was in a few older episodes of Doctor Who. He's also just a general voice actor, so all in all, not so easy to pin down.

good lord could they please I'm still really pissed about Velma and Daphne being so expensive, but they could stick them in a Team Pack or in Fun Packs and make a Level Pack out of Fred. You have to consider, though, that one of DC's minifigures is an exclusive (or at least not mass-release). It seems odd that they'd only list off the new IPs and thieir packs in this list if there were still old ones coming into play.. I suppose, but she's also not the Doctor's companion anymore. I don't know if she's appeared on the show yet, but there's a new companion now. Oh, and did anybody catch the LEGO Dimensions Instagram this morning? They said that they had "a few more things to share with [us] today..."

Clara poses some issues, since you have to save her in the Doctor Who level. Jack definitely seems possible. I just have a strong gut feeling that we'll be getting an actual character next and not another monster. We've got the three most iconic already, and the only other is the Weeping Angel, which wouldn't exactly work and would make their section of the Doctor Who level really confusing, probably. Excellent point about Ninjago! I forgot that they were getting a movie. I don't know if they'll get a new Adventure World for that but a Story Pack seems incredibly likely. Vitruvius is also a possibility for the LEGO Movie. Heh, what if it's the kid? Like, what if we get the kid and it's not even a minifigure, it's just a regular figurine?

I don't think it'll work like that. For example, DC has a Batman and the LEGO Movie has a Batman and the LEGO Batman Movie has a Batman. They only unlock their respective worlds. (Well, I mean, there isn't a LEGO Movie Batman out and I don't know if the LEGO Batman Movie counts as its own world or not but you get the idea!) DC's Cyborg and Teen Titans Go!'s Cyborg are two different Cyborgs. You'll probably get some fun dialogue out of him with the other Titans, though! From a financial standpoint, they're probably never going to make a character that unlocks two worlds. That's twice the content for the price of one figure. Narratively it doesn't work much, either, since they've established that every character comes from just one universe.

Don't forget Scooby-Doo!

I feel like Lizard's more likely than Shocker. Then again, I didn't think we'd get Hobgoblin or Scorpion any time soon, either, so what do I know? An official Mysterio would be to die for, assuming we actually manage to get some comic-based sets next year what with all the movies coming out. Speaking of comic book dreams being crushed by the film industry, shouldn't we have heard about SDCC exclusives by now? Nearly every other major toy company has confirmed theirs with pictures and everything, and it's not all that far off.

I used mine to make Grifter. There was somebody else I wanted to use that torso on the other day but I've since forgotten. :/ Meh, it would've been DC anyway, so not quite ideal for you I'd imagine. Thank you!

So we have three returning IPs for battle arenas that we don't already know about. I'd say Ninjago and Chima are the most likely, since they lend themselves to that pretty well and also are in-house brands. Simpsons, the LEGO Movie, LotR, and Doctor Who seem like the next most likely. (Although I could see an Atlas and P-Body team pack with a buildable Wheatley) (I mean in my dreams but seeing nonetheless) If we get Doctor Who, I can't imagine them doing Strax of all characters. They've got a brand new companion coming in, a dozen old ones, Jack Harkness, Missy, River Song...I can't see Strax being more appealing than any of those guys, let alone ALL of them. Also, where does Lego get off making Green Arrow an exclusive all the time?? First it was SDCC, and now this! He's an important character! Why is he on the same level as the Batman of Zur-En-Arrh to you people?!

Don't look forward to that. In some of the streams they did yesterday at E3 they were praising themselves for making the Toy Pad part of the game and not just the platform you sit stuff on.

I guess we'll find out in August!

Comparing it to other box art, you may be right... I hope not, though.

Not bad, Cap! Bruce looks very Bruce-y, and that's a really good head for Peter, but maybe try the new Hawkeye hair instead? Not sure where you'll find an ethnically-accurate head for Nova, but I'd go with the black widows' peak piece. I'd give Power Man Cyborg's head, despite it lacking the cheekbones. Iron Fist would make good use of Thor's hair and his head'll be very trial-and-error. White Tiger's head will also be a challenge, but as for hair, I'd go with the CMF Librarian hair. Keep up the good work, dude!

So I just had something pointed out to me that really made me excited: in the Suicide Squad trailer, the Batmobile doesn't have it's turrets. No more guns! So (and I'm not sure how on-topic this is) I took the stud-shooters off of my Batmobile, replacing them with a 1x2 plate and a 1x2 wedge!

Nah, I'm pretty sure that's been in some Friends sets and the like.

I don't think the Story Packs come with new Toy Pads, do they? I hope it's not a system-exclusive thing. I thought Lego Dimensions would avoid that crap, which is why I finally bought a Lego game for my Wii U. Even so, a new starter pack would be such a gyp for those of us who've already got the game, and it's not like they can shuffle around the included characters because of the story, so they'd have to make her just an in-box bonus.

Oh yeah, this was all wishful thinking in the highest degree, but hey, a nerd can dream, right? So if Ollie's not an exclusive, and there will be "other opportunities" to get him, maybe he'll be available in limited edition elsewhere, perhaps SDCC? Maybe some kind of Lego store or pre-order deal? There's gotta be some kind of catch to getting him, because he can't come in a proper pack if he's available without a build as a limited edition. We don't even know how anyone's getting her. Maybe another Con release, maybe a whole pack, maybe whatever these Connectables are?

Oh yeah, I forgot about Finding Dory! Good to know! Guess we're still waiting then! It wouldn't be too hard to believe that they could add those to the end of Year 2's slate, and mostly recycle TFA's models and such for Star Wars, but it would be a tad counter-intuitive to release Lego Star Wars and add them to Dimensions at the same time.

I don't know, now seems like a good time, and all the Infinity stuff is already getting clearance pricing (and quite the deal, I might add. You can get some of the first wave figures for as little as $3 at Wal-Mart here), so maybe perhaps just maybe if we're lucky and the various gods are smiling down upon us on this day...!

So when you play as Peter Venkman, do ALL of the Ghostbuster show up, or do you just swap between one version like the Doctor? I'm gonna spend so much time just putting different characters on the Toy Pad and seeing what they say to each other! I wonder if Finn and Batman have anything to say about their similar taste in headgear?
