Some foreign (French?) magazine did a piece on the new Wonder Woman movie, and confirmed that Ares will be the big bad, so if anybody was doubting that earlier set info, doubt no more!

They all do, and iirc the official photos Lego released of the figures included it. -

The helmet's only like that now for the suit that they're doing. It doesn't have the rising faceplate like the traditional Iron Man, just a flatter face like the new helmet. They're including it in the Mighty Micros set because its easier to print on and make look cartoony, and they're using it on the Adaptoid to get as much usage out of the mold as they can. The old Iron Man helmet isn't dead, it's just not useful in this year's sets.- 5,808 replies

It almost makes me want to try to erase the Bat-symbols off of a few of those new Batman torsos. It's a shame Lego hasn't given us a good, plain black torso like that yet. Maybe there's a piece that could cover up the Bat-symbol on that torso, maybe something to make where they cape connects in the front more prominent?

That would be King Tut! -
I think they're referring to the super-classic Nightwing, the Kryptonian folk hero that was the namesake for Dick's second superhero identity! Of course, it could also be one of the hundreds of various Batsuits in the movie, but I guess we'll know sooner or later!

That's actually Ayesha! James Gunn just confirmed on Twitter that a Funko Pint-Sized Heroes figure that looked just like that is actually Ayesha and not Kismet! (source)- 5,808 replies

Sherlock is, like, ALL ABOUT murder. Doctor Who has a lovely coating of sci-fi that makes its gruesome elements more palatable and easier to censor, but I can't think of an episode of Sherlock that hasn't crucially involved the very grounded and grizzly murder of another human being. The concepts of death and murder are pretty well excluded from Lego games these days. It's the difference between something like Star Wars and CSI: they're both about as gruesome and kill-y at the end of the day, but one of them has aliens and laser swords to fill in the blanks. Now that Disney Infinity is over, we have three problems: 1. The dust still has to settle. The game just had the plug pulled not so long ago, so I'd say there are still warehouses to clear and licenses to reorganize before any attempt at another toys-to-life title involving Disney characters could happen. 2. Hesitation to try again. There will definitely be some doubt at the Disney offices over whether or not it's worth it to try again, especially when they'd be making less revenue for this than they would for something that exclusively features their brand. Lego Dimensions is successful, sure, but is it successful enough to try the same trick twice? 3. The old Roger Rabbit debacle. Disney and Warner Brothers are, in many ways, rivals. So how okay would Disney be with making their characters accessories to a game with Batman and Gandalf on the cover? Would WB take issue with the Avengers getting more content than the Justice League? Those two get very petty very fast. That certainly could work, especially since I believe the new movie is supposed to be some sort of continuation of the last(?). Perhaps a Fun Pack could work, but I think if they had any intention of doing Jumanji they would've done it this year, since that's when the new movie comes out. Some sort of loose tie-in would definitely be reasonable. I don't think we'll be getting movie stuff from them at this point, since they've passed on Batman v Superman already, but a playable Flash and Green Lantern in the traditional style seem like simple ways to potentially cash in on the movie's success. I definitely feel you, but I'd say if they made STAR Labs a secret area, that pretty much destroys any chance of it being a prominent location somewhere else, and if STAR Labs wouldn't be a key part of an Arrowverse hub world, I don't know what would be. If I were you, I'd hold out hope for another standalone Lego DC game in the hopes that they do a DLC level for the Flash like they did for Arrow in Lego Batman 3. That seems like the most we're at all likely to get.

That is such a good Wotan!! I was playing around with a Wotan figure for awhile, but that's a dozen times better than what I would've ended up with!

The minifigures have just showed up at my local Wal-Mart, but none of the new sets have! Just the Batmobile, Lowrider, Batcave, and Mr. Freeze sets. I did grab a couple of minifigs, though, and got Lobster-Lovin' Batman and Barbara Gordon! I was trying to get Calculator or Red Hood, but what can you do? I think it's kinda funny the way they did the printing on Lobster-Lovin' Batman's head. The way his mouth is so low it kinda looks like it's actually Will Arnet in a Batman mask -
Races sound pretty likely, and pretty fun! I wouldn't count them out as far as finding IPs goes. I never would've considered the likes of the A-Team, Knight Rider, and Beetlejuice, but here we are! I'd be alright with Year 3 mostly expanding on old IPs, though, but I believe that Arthur Parsons said that they don't currently have any plans to revisit those. Disney's IPs also seem pretty unlikely for the time being, so I wouldn't hold your breathe. Sherlock's pretty gruesome and maybe not quite colorful enough to catch the eyes of young newcomers, but Jumanji and the Lego Ninjago Movie seem like relatively safe bets. Let's not get too deep into wishlisting though! I like the idea of both, but it seems a little unlikely. The thing with Ghostbusters is that the original movie is incredibly iconic to this day, and the pack came out significantly before the new movie. In this case they'd have to release both the original Jumanji and the new one at the same time, which could make for some confusion, especially since Jumanji, as treasured a classic as it is, isn't quite as iconic. That could only be used as a Christmas ornament! A playable ET, but outside of the fun pack, so you're still gonna have to buy the pack if you want to get the full use out of him!

I heard something about it being in the last wave or two of Year Two, and the last wave includes Beetlejuice, whose figure wasn't even finished about a month ago. What I'm trying to say is, don't hold your breath.

And The Atom, Colossal Boy of the Legion of Superheroes, Elasti-Woman, Trigon, The Spectre, Uncle Sam, and Doctor Manhattan (that'll be the day ). Interesting. It seems they ignored the traditional colored Kryptonites in lieu of just making them artificial variations of normal Kryptonite. Not a bad move. The particular mention of the red Kryptomites being ineffective against Tamaranians seems to suggest that we may see our third Starfire before long. Also, I was just re-reading the DCSG summer set descriptions and it seems a little peculiar to me that 2 out of 3 of those sets explicitly involve draining someone of their powers?? I don't know if that's a big thing now in the show or if the designers were just a tad lazy in their plots, but that's just a tad annoying. Minor nitpick, but I thought I'd share.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

I'm mostly annoyed at just how many of these Batsuits are just straight-up suits. Like, I can get one or two cutesy tuxedos for the Batman, but it feels like they're just treading water now. How many clever and imaginative suits did we see in the trailer? Why not bust out some of those? I genuinely want them to go full action figure territory at least a couple of times. Bust out the Zebra suit, or the Rainbow suit, or that painfully desired Beyond suit. The trailer had a Bat By Gaslight, a Winged Avenger, a Silent But Deadly, and a Bat-Hurst 1000, and those are just the ones I'm finding from Google Images screenshots! We don't need another suit, we need another BATsuit. Give us something fun. I don't mind Tut so much, since he's at least a name someone's likely to know, but the rest of those are such nobodies that it's not even cute, it's just kinda boring. Obscurity can be fun, but there's a point where you're just highlighting why these characters are obscure in the first place. Replacing them with - maybe not obscure anymore, but at least niche - characters like Polka Dot Man and Condiment King would've made for a much better wave. Filling the CMF wave with civilians and complete unknowns just discourages me from trying to get all the figures, which I'm positive isn't what Lego wants. -

When someone asks about the head molds of the Powerpuff Girls and only the Powerpuff Girls, and the answer includes the word "they", it's to be presumed that the speaker is referring to the subject of the question, i.e. the Powerpuff Girls, not two characters who haven't been mentioned at all in the conversation. Also, no one uses the word "mold" when referring to in-game figures (that is unless they're discussing the potential for the figure to one day be physical). A mold is a physical thing. Also, the question verbatim: "Will all 3 Powerpuff Girls have separate minifigures? And will they have Lantern Constructs, like Supergirl?" "hmm... probably not something I can say as we haven't revealed that pack yet... but if I was to say... wouldn't that be awesome... and we like to do awesome things... that may be an answer.." and even more incriminating: " Are all three Powerpuff girls in one pack together? You said that "pack" and those "figures" and new "molds" So is that hinting that we will get a pavk eith 3 characters? " " you have too keen an eye... can I claim a typo on "pack"... for "packs" ? " which would indicate that we're getting more than one pack or potentially even one pack with all three girls. Have you considered becoming a professional athlete? Because you are incredible at the long jump

Do you know something or are you implying that Lego is providing us with more pieces for no added cost for the sake of creativity? Because if you're implying the latter then you're clearly out of your mind- 5,808 replies

The Sonic pack is one of my favorites. The level plays like the perfect marriage between classic/Gamecube-era Sonic and Lego games, with an incredible amount of love and some really witty dialogue and visual gags (especially for fans of the franchise). Plus it's really nice to have Sonic for races and just generally getting around places faster.

Why would they include two torsos? Isn't the whole deal with extra parts just for the ones people are likely to lose? How would anyone lose a minifig torso, especially with arms like that? Why would they include an extra long-armed torso instead of a normal one? What use would they expect us to have to need two??- 5,808 replies
