  1. I thought so, too, but I think that might just be the lighting.
  2. Oh man, I was just trying to find some good combos for all those guys! This is great, especially that armor! Perfect way to do his big glowy shoulder thingies!
  3. That'd be it! Ah, that would make some sense.
  4. Yeah, she could REALLY use a redesign on the off chance that they bring her back.
  5. I just saw a photo on ComicBookMovie.com of a DCEU Aquaman statue that's wearing the classic costume, the one with all orange up top, all green on bottom. Maybe that's what they're giving us in the set? It would explain the lack of green detailing on the chest.
  6. I'm willing to bet that Robbie Reyes will be in there, whether it's the Agents of SHIELD version or not. Same goes for Quake and Coulson. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that we'll be seeing more of the recent popular characters from the comics like Robbie, Ms. Marvel, and the Champions (though maybe minus Cyclops, depending on the X-presence).
  7. Spider-Gwen is DEFINITELY happening sooner than later. She'll be starring in the new Spider-Man cartoon, after all. I'd say she, Araña, and a re-released Miles Morales are imminent.
  8. Yeah, no, they definitely asked about Spider-Man Noir, and it was on the picture of the box art with 2099 on it.
  9. Arthur Parsons responded to someone's question about Spider-Noir's inclusion on Instagram with a simple smiley face, and that's the only comment of the like to get any sort of response, so Spider-Noir confirmed?
  10. That's enough for me to forgive the lack of dual-molded legs. If the new legs suck too hard, this head can just go on the BvS Batman and make it all the better.
  11. These games have gotten better and better at emulating Lego's design quirks, so I wouldn't get your hopes up just yet. Granted, we did just get Scarlet Spider and the least impressive Spider-Woman (which is saying something; there's like 5 of them) so who knows? It sounds like we'll see a good batch of Spider-Verse characters, as someone asked about Spider-Noir on Instagram and got a smiley face from Arthur and not a letter more. There's no way that this game is coming soon enough to already have the pre-order promo in production, though, and they always go a little extra on the printing for those figures. Is there a thread for the game already? I'm having a hard time finding it if there is.
  12. Those are all perfectly fair points. That's exactly what I've been thinking. The Black Panther from the comics would be perfectly fine with the method they've used, but the MCU version definitely oughta have some sort of a helmet. Maybe next year?
  13. A great pull, and a great figure! You actually inspired me to take another crack at a different member of the Wilson family... Jericho! Also: Bumblebee!
  14. They somehow managed to make that Valkyrie figure look not awful! Rad! The entire mold for Flash's cowl is unfit for Cap. It's pointed in the back and has all this tech-y stuff going on. Am I the only one who really prefers Cap not have a molded helmet? We only need molds when there are protrusions or shapes that the printing can't manage, like Flash's antenna thingies or Batman's cowl's ears. Unless they come around to making Cap's wings stick out, the printed looks perfectly fine. They just gotta figure out how to not make him look so dark.
  15. Four new figures!! Aquagirl (Marquez) Guardian Genius Jones Green Lantern Hannu
  16. Ooo, that sounds rad! I'd love to see those when you get to them!
  17. What an interesting dichotomy here: either movie sets have spoilers and are criticized for ruining major plot points, or they exclude major plot points and are criticized for not accurately representing the film. Not trying to complain about hypocrisy or anything, it's just genuinely interesting to me how much of a Catch 22 this is. I'm not too bothered by some of the sets' inaccuracies, but to repeat the same sentiment, yeah, Ego DEFINITELY needs a figure. I'd say they'll find a way to make one before too long, ideally as a polybag but potentially as a - dare I say it - SDCC exclusive. It would be really nice to get a $30 set of Ego's ship with Mantis, Ego, and Star Lord, but it seems like a bit of a longshot at this point.
  18. I could go for a nice smirk head with those cheekbones! Never considered that as an option. His "belt" in the movie doesn't seem to do anything in terms of color balance, doesn't really make sense as a belt, and just kinda awkwardly draws attention to his crotch, imo. I'm hoping that comes with the parts for more than just the ship build. At least an extra two builds using those parts, Creator-style, would be super nice. Either way, the parts provided should make for a great opportunity for even more cool Lantern constructs! I've been making displays for the different versions of the League. One mostly New 52 as my main Justice League, the DCEU Justice League, and the team from the late 90s so far!
  19. I meant in the movie, not the figure. The figure just kinda confirms that he won't be getting an improved costume upon his return to the land of the living. Not to get to into film discussion, but he could really use an actual belt and some more red in that area, and more vivid color all around. Something like the New 52 suit or Tyler Hoechlin's costume on Supergirl. I don't mind the smile, because it's a bit more rare of a head and is closer to what the DCEU Superman...oughta be. We've so many scowling Superman figures that it's nice to be able to swap them out for more in-character head prints, especially when the classic head print is far more accurate to the movie Superman. Win-win!
  20. That Goliath is really going to shake up the landscape of purist custom Booster Gold minifigs, and also seems to indicate that we'll be getting at least one comic-based set in the near future, so that's pretty rad! Only downside is that Goliath is too obscure to not have to share a set with a much more common character. I suppose we'll see what happens, though.
  21. Interesting that the cheapest set seems to depict the climax, and a little disappointing since it would imply that Valkyrie will have her design from Sakaar and not when she's being knocked off the pegasus in the trailer. It's nice to hear that we ARE getting someone from Sakaar, though, since those designs are just way too cool.
  22. If it weren't for Cyborg, I'd be perfectly comfortable passing on the Flying Fox. Hopefully it'll come with a new Superman design, because he's desperately in need of a redesign and he'd make that set a much easier buy. I'm pretty comfortable with the new Wonder Woman and the previous Batman, and there're plenty of Parademons in the other two sets, so Clark is really the only variable that could add fig-based value. Glad to see that Flash, Aquaman, and Parademons will be pretty accessible. Those Atlantean Guards had better be really cool, though, for them to be half the draw of a $20 set.
  23. Ooo, what's that jacket on Red Hood?
  24. Got another pair of figs! Black Bat Kid Devil
  25. My Toys R Us actually had them in stock for once! I am absolutely adoring this new Wonder Woman minifig, and Ares is pretty sick! Even the plane I like too much to take apart just yet!
