  1. Giganta and Circe are both pretty major, especially Giganta, who's a classic Legion of Doom member. Felix Faust is also pretty likely, sooner or later, since he seems to make his way into just about every DC property that contains magic, including at least one JLA episode. Superman's got plenty of big villains left. Metallo, Parasite, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Kalibak, Mongul, Livewire, Toyman, Silver Banshee, Cyborg Superman, Ultra-Humanite, Desaad, Granny Goodness, Eclipso, and Volcana, just to name a few. Most of those even have the same advantage as Flash's Rogues, thanks to Supergirl and it's over-reliance on the Superman mythos that seems to prove that they were more interested in making a Superman show with a female lead than an actual show about Supergirl. Cyborg is absolutely lacking in villains, though, especially if you exclude any that are more closely associated to the Teen Titans. That's something they'll wanna remedy before the movie happens. It's hard to make an effective arch-villain overnight, it's not really something you can force. If you ask me, I'd say the best thing DC could do right now is sift through all the original villains created for the Teen Titans cartoon and introduce them. Perfectly fresh history in terms of DC's continuity, but a built-in association with Vic. Back on topic, though: in terms of sets, I'd say they'll probably just use him as a vehicle for general Justice League villains like Despero and Amazo, and for some Titans villains, like Doctor Light and Psimon. That is, assuming that they let him headline a set, which I don't see happening unless he really takes off in the JL movie. Point is, though, it seems pretty likely that this steady stream of Flash villains isn't going to end any time soon. Weather Wizard, Mirror Master, Heatwave, Pied Piper, and Abra Kadabra are all pretty major DC villains, and are all pretty visually appealing and easy enough to figure out. You don't really need a paragraph to explain that Heatwave likes to burn things, y'know? Speaking of Donna and Cassie, I'm really surprised by the distinct lack of sidekickery we've seen. Outside of the Robins and Batgirl (and I guess maybe Superboy, if you count him?) we haven't seen any sidekicks. Even all of our Titans are the ones that are independent heroes, or at least members of bigger teams. I figured we'd be seeing Aqualad and Speedy as kidnapping victims by now, but no, only Robin. Heck, we haven't even seen the classic damsels-in-distress yet: Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen! We really need to up the number of sidekicks and non-Robin-related kidnappings and death traps in these sets!
  2. Can't wait to see that classic Guardians pack! I have no idea how they'll do Starhawk's weird shoulder thingies They're finally upgrading the character creator?? That's great! I've had so many complaints about the character creator in recent games (No capes, lack of color options, having to force specific pieces into characters just so they have the superpower you want them to have) and if even one of those gets fixed I might cry As lame as it is that our pre-order figure is so underwhelming, I think my biggest problem is that, since it's an exclusive figure, I won't be able to affordably keep a Giant Man and use his parts to make a purist Booster Gold, because those are about as perfect as we're gonna get prior to actually getting a Booster figure. When you say Nowhere, is that Knowhere or is that a totally different Nowhere?
  3. Do you have any idea how much I'd kill for an undoubtedly Keaton Batman?? Even if it was just a head print on the old all-black suit. In all seriousness, though, I imagine they'll make it more like Vulture's wings than the previous Bat-jetpacks, since (as far as I remember) that's the only fuel for a secondary build, and a couple bricks slapped onto a molded piece isn't much of a build. I'm putting money on Aquaman or Cyborg - assuming they continue the trend and put another Batman out (though I don't know how many more ways they could do that without duplicating figures). Both are in the majorly publicized League lineup, the one Lego continues to push. Of the two, I'd say Aquaman is most likely, since he's a bit more iconic and doesn't have any detailed, hard-to-print-on headgear like Cy does. There's nothing we know of for the time being, but I think it's pretty safe to say that we'll see the major Rogues sooner than later. They are widely considered the third best rogues gallery in comics, and we've already gotten 5 of them, which is more than Superman's seen in non-movie-based sets, and way more than any other member of the League (y'know, besides Batman).
  4. On the same page as everyone else here: it's pretty kick-megablocks apart from the cowl. That would've benefited so much from just adding the goggles, even if it was just a print on the forehead of cowl. I think I prefer the default DCEU Batsy, though. It just feels more Batman-y to me. I'll definitely be swapping out the generic head for this new one, though.
  5. Look at the bright side, all these guys are free to show up in sets! And again, Spider-Gwen is almost definitely coming to a set sooner than later, thanks to the new Spider-Man cartoon!
  6. Think I figured out where they got the giant Ares ides from
  7. Alright, no, if somebody's got enough leaked Flash figs to use them as dominos, they are morally obligated to send me one. Tell that godless heathen to DM me for my shipping address.
  8. I'd say Two-Face is the most likely for that Nightwing one if it happens. Scarecrow and Freeze are both still on shelves in main-line DC sets, and Clayface has kinda proven himself to need a new mold a couple of times now. Ivy only just left in most places. Two-Face hasn't been seen in a normal DC set since that first truck set, he'd fit perfectly within the style, and him and Dick have a bit of a history.
  9. "Oh, jeez, was that Justice League thing today? Totally forgot, so sorry, just gimme like...twenty minutes." Nope.
  10. Yeah, I think he might be a bit of a consolation.
  11. I think Batman's going to remain DC merchandising's favorite for a good while longer, despite Wonder Woman's success. Diana's probably going to stay in the one until that wave gets discontinued. I'm actually really curious as to whether or not we will see GL this time. He's the most logical choice, being the next major League member to not have one, but it seems like DC's kind of avoiding the Lanterns right now? He and Aquaman are the only two Leaguers who aren't in next year's sets, but Aquaman will still have a dedicated Justice League movie set on shelves, and I haven't really seen any new Lantern stuff from any of DC's merch dept. recently. I think they're pouring they're resources towards the Leaguers in the movie who are about to get a much bigger fanbase. So, maybe a Cyborg one is a safer bet? Either way, I think the Mighty Micro reveal is going to tell us a lot about DC's marketing strategy going forward.
  12. It's absolutely more accurate for them to use the BvS figure, although I'd say it's more of a lighting thing than a lore thing as far as the color goes (Zack does love his sepia tones). But how often is it that Lego picks accuracy over a cheaper alternative? I'm hoping so. They've done a good job of matching her costume up across the board, so if they're not marrying themselves to a specific source, they could easily get away with reusing these parts. The legs, at least, match up pretty perfectly to the JLA version, so they could get a really nice figure out of only one new printed torso, reusing the arm print and the classic Wonder Woman head and hair (though I wouldn't object to seeing that more punk cut she's got on JLA as a new mold).
  13. Oh good lord! I had the same plan, but at $50 a pop, you'd actually be losing money! Ugh. Bummer. I'd say he would've seemed too similar in design to King Tut, and he's not the most campy of villains. If DC did something to up his profile, they could probably get him in a normal set somewhere down the line.
  14. I kinda wish they'd re-use the newest Wonder Woman figure instead of the BvS one. The new one looks so good, I was hoping to get a second one to make Rebirth Wonder Woman for my main Justice League display. The New 52 figure just doesn't feel like Wonder Woman to me anymore thanks to the movie
  15. I'd hope that they'd give Black Panther an update for his movie, even if it was just leg printing. With the amount of relevant characters in BP (T'Challa, Shuri, Killmonger, Man-Ape, Klaw, and the Dora Milaje) I'd be willing to bet that we'll get at least 2 sets for that. I don't know how the math lines up on that prediction, but those are too many names to fit in one set or to ignore, especially since some of them have been confirmed to show up in Infinity War, too (or at least T'Challa and Man-Ape have). Note that Montana is only using one glove. Nobody said that there were two Iron Mans in Iron Man 3 just because Pepper borrowed the suit for a minute.
  16. Oh yeah, it was a really cool idea, and it would've been a little more memorable I think, but I'm not gonna complain about someone sticking to the source material's design for once Oh, these are SO NICE!! I'm glad they kept them so vivid, that way they'll get some use outside of just Justice League movie builds. It'll be really nice to mix and match the parts a bit to get something closer to the design from the comics, too! It's so nice to see generic soldier figures getting some love put into them! I actually just watched BvS again last night and I never appreciated the Parademons in that one as much as I should; they're so freaky and cool and terrifying in the way they look and move. It's gonna be so much fun seeing the League tear through these guys, and potentially more fun to recreate the League tearing through them!
  17. Jackson Brice is a totally different character. He goes by Montana, and is a member of the Enforcers. The only time he's ever been Shocker was in the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon. Herman Schultz is the Shocker, one and only.
  18. It looked a lot more like this in silhouette, save for the big brush in the middle. I'd say the plane's inaccuracy has a lot to do with both avoiding spoilers and the heavier WWI imagery.
  19. I mean, I'm no biologist, but it looked to me like he picked it up from an Arizona desert and stuck it on his head, so.. I just saw those on his Instagram, and I'm pretty certain that's a new face. It almost looked like Rhodey's, but his doesn't smile. I'm anxious to see the full face print and how well it matches up with Ray Fisher, because I thought the normal Cyborg head already looked pretty good for him. It also just dawned on me that this Cyborg's helmet does have new printing! Not only is the dot a different color, but his eye is shaped differently, too! Nice attention to detail!
  20. No no no, I meant that's what her head could be used for! I mostly just thought "Lady Hades" was fun to say! Assuming you're referring to the Mighty Micros, that's at least 2 too many. We only ever get them in batches of three and we know one is Supergirl vs Brainiac. We just got Wonder Woman, and they're likely not going to want to ruin the exclusivity of Firestorm and Killer Frost just yet. The GA vs Deathstroke one would be really fun, though, and I'd be curious to see how they could make Black Manta look both goofy and like Black Manta!
  21. Just saw Wonder Woman - positively gorgeous movie - and I'm kinda surprised at how off the set was with Ares' design?? I know the cow skull helmet has been seen in a lot of promo stuff, but his helmet looks infinitely more like the one from the comics. The lighting wasn't great so I can't make out the finer details, but that helmet is just simply wrong in a way that can only be blamed on some interesting concept art.
  22. Unless they've somehow been working on something in secret this whole time, there's no way we'll see another movie in 2018. I was willing to give the Batman movie the benefit of the doubt for a late 2018 release, since it seemed to be the most together of the unscheduled movies, but apparently Ben and the new director haven't even talked story yet thanks to the new Apes movie. DCEU sets will definitely have some time off in 2018.
