I wouldn't get too excited about that head print: not many Dimensions figures get them, it's far more likely that it's just box art. That build for her does look surprisingly rad despite not knowing what it is Ooo, that's a great idea!! Ultimately, I think they look pretty good for what they are. If that BB and Star were in a set, I probably wouldn't buy it just for them, but given the context, they're perfectly serviceable as Lego versions of the show's stylized designs that'll fit nicely in their stylized Lego Dimensions world. Raven'll make a nice source of parts for a better custom version until we get an official, normal Raven somewhere down the line.

I don't know what it's gonna take for us to get at least an Arrowverse set, since it's not like it's tremendously dark or unpopular with younger viewers. Even just one set based on one of the big crossover events would satisfy me, tbh. Either way, it shouldn't be too hard to purist a good CW Killer Frost.

I'm kinda surprised that we haven't had one yet?? Granted, it's not like any of the villains in those sets are terribly common, maybe that's on purpose? As much as I would love to have a normal Raven, I don't fault them for stylizing this one. As much as I don't like TTG, I think it's only fair that their Dimensions theme really feels like the show since they did that for Adventure Time and Powerpuff Girls. At least Raven's a normal-sized figure, so we can always swap out some parts to get her to fit in a little better until we get our normal Raven, which should be coming sooner than later. They've gotten all 5 of the most famous members at this point, and guys like Kid Flash, Speedy, and Aqualad are more likely to show up in sets with their mentors than in dedicated Titans sets anyway. Besides, the more variants of a character, the more opportunity there is for happy customers! Now there's a Beast Boy for those who only know him as a tiny, lime green douche AND one for those of us that have taste! Better idea than a Freeze Car: Ice Villain Tour Bus, coming to a city near you! I'm still pretty committed to the theory that we were gonna get some Young Justice tie-ins ages ago, but the cancellation threw a wrench in it. I mean, that original Robin head looks just like Dick in Young Justice! I'd say that we'll get loose tie-ins at best. If the CW shows aren't getting anything and Cartoon Network's got a Justice League cartoon already, I doubt that they'll throw too much money at marketing a far less accessible show that's already failed in the toy department when they've got a whole other show to pull stuff from that kids are more likely to be watching. I'd say DCEU sets are only gonna come when there's a movie to promote. Next year, all that's scheduled is Aquaman since the Flash lost another director, so holes like that will likely be filled by more general DC stuff. -

No doubt that he deserves it, it just makes things confusing. I mean, it's bad enough having two Wally Wests at the same time, now I have to try to distinguish between two Flashes in conversation, too. I'm betting we'll see the dual molded legs on Barry, though. The piece is already being produced, I can't see why they wouldn't. Lady Hades? It's nice that if they won't give us particularly useful figures in those sets that they're at least giving us really cool accessories. Kandor just being a 1x1 is a little disappointing, but it's cool to get it nonetheless! Say, I wonder if they'll do classic Brainiac for this and give him that doofy little purple sweater? I'd buy that! -
OOO that would be so great!! I would love all of that!!!

I've looked into them a couple of times without much luck, but I do have a not-entirely-terrible Gizmo! If you come up with anything for them I'd absolutely love to see it!

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Numbuh1Nerd replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
He's got a pretty solid place in the Batman mythos. I mean, he killed Tim Drake's dad, after all. To the people saying the new CMF wave is unnecessary, need I remind you that we're still lacking Crazy Quilt, Killer Moth, Gentleman Ghost, Clock King, Doctor Phosphorus, Hugo Strange, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Hawkgirl, Zan, Jayna, Samurai, Black Vulcan, El Dorado, Apache Chief, at least 3 Batgirl variants, Robin's Knightwing suit, and a good couple of Bat-variants, including the Beyond suit. That's at least 20 unproduced figures right there. -
On Superman I do! I totally forgot about that new costume, though! I would be totally on board with that one! I think the vibrancy of the colors on the New 52 one keeps the new Rebirth suit from being my second favorite, but that's much, much, MUCH better. True. I think the Shazam push didn't work out quite as well as they'd hoped. I'm sure we'll get him much sooner than later, maybe even in the next wave like this one, since he's pretty relevant to JLA. I certainly wouldn't prefer Frost getting the same headpiece as Firestorm, but I can't say it would be terribly inaccurate. I'd bet it looks a lot like the design from LB3, just without the cape.

I really can't wait to see what the hub looks like, either. I really loved New York, and I probably would've been just fine with them doing New York again with a few new buildings and secondary hubs, so I really hope this is up to par with that. Last time they tried a mash-up hub, we got the DC section of Lego Dimensions, which was pretty lame. It would be really nice if they could do jukeboxes like the ones in Dimensions, where you could just play whatever background music you wanted, and maybe some of the cinematic scores and classic theme songs (bonus points if they get this gem).

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

Oh, don't get me wrong, his new costume's pretty rad! I'm glad they gave him something different if both Flashes are gonna be running around at the same time (although I kinda wish they'd give him a new name, too). I just think that, of all the ways we could get Wally, I think his Kid Flash and classic Flash suit would be a little more high-priority, and in a set with Reverse Flash, they're probably going to include the Flash he looks the most reverse of Either way, though, I'd say for the sake of cost that they won't be doing any new prints for the League we've already got. We're getting at least 5 new figures with entirely unique prints and some parts in new colors, and only across 3 sets. That's not gonna leave much in the New Stuff Budget. -
Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

Yeah, that seems really odd to me. Even in the cartoon they're depicted as some sort of pair, with Firestorm trying to convince her to turn over a new leaf. If it wasn't Cyborg's helicopter, I would've swapped those two around. It's also really weird that they gave Cyborg a helicopter and Killer Frost a car, since Cyborg's the one who kinda famously has a car (the T-Car) and in the aforementioned JLA episode, Mr. Freeze and Killer Frost have some kind of airship. It's kind of interesting that we're getting the whole League this wave excluding Aquaman, who has his own JL movie set, and Green Lantern, who isn't in the movie at all. I don't think that's a coincidence. I'd say the existing figs are gonna stay pretty much as-is (although Flash might get boots this time now that that piece exists) and all the other designs are gonna stay pretty traditional or lean towards the show. So Killer Frost is probably gonna look more like her New 52 counterpart than her Rebirth one, since the show's design is closer to the former. As nice as it would be to get Wally, I doubt we'll see the Flash fig change with all of these new characters needing new prints. If I had to pick, though, I'd really love to see them go with the classic Wally Flash suit, with the white eyes and open belt. He'd go a lot nicer with the Reverse Flash figure, if nothing else. I'm hoping they stick with classic yellow, and I'm fairly confident they will. His whole costume is an inverted Flash suit, and Flash uses plain old yellow for his yellow parts. I doubt they'll do that Cyborg, just because it would require some drastic changes to his current headpiece, which even the movie couldn't change. With all these new characters, I doubt we'll see much variation in the ones we already have. It's more like how the Avengers Assemble sets are: the characters, vehicles, and settings you'd see in the show, but with more general character designs. Could there be a third figure that isn't Krypto in that set? Because it seems odd that they wouldn't recognize the third character if it was dog-shaped. Almost definitely Ronnie Raymond. He's the one in the cartoon, and has the most recognizable appearance. -
I...kinda dig it? I mean, I won't be leaving it on him, but I think it works as Cyborg's often ridiculously large arm-cannon when he intends on really wrecking somebody. I kinda hope it doesn't have a handle on it, but it seems pretty unlikely for them to make two whole new molds for him. I really don't like the Rebirth design, personally. It's like they just applied all the worst elements of the DCEU Superman's costume to the classic one: terrible color balance, terribly dark colors, and a really weird, useless belt-like thingy that draws attention to the groin. The New 52 Superman had none of those problems, save for maybe a lack of yellow (we wouldn't even have these color balance problems if we'd just get over the damn trunks it's timeless and it looks so much better than any attempt to eliminate them good lord we're not twelve) and would've been near perfect if they calmed down a bit with the piping. As for being outdated, we did just get Convergence Wonder Woman, which is not only outdated but kind of actively ignored. If anything stands in the way of a New 52 Superman figure, it's Superman's lack of marketability. Apart from the Man of Steel sets, Superman's been in about as many DC sets as the Flash, and he's never the draw. With all due respect to those of us who truly love Big Blue, we aren't exactly chomping at the bit for his merch in the way that Wonder Woman, Flash, or Green Lantern fans are, and definitely not the way Batman fans do.

So that should be about...2 weeks? That's doable. Hopefully we get a good demo roster. I remember LB3's had a nice taste of what we could expect: the big obvious ones, the often overlooked B-listers, the up-and-comers, and the downright obscure and weirdo characters. I hope we get a similar selection here, and not just the folks from the trailer.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

OH. I thought those were for sets. Another CMF wave is soooo much better!! I checked awhile back and you could easily fit all the new Justice League characters and all the unmade villains into a wave with room to spare, hopefully for a Batman Beyond figure! That's easily the biggest oversight from the first wave, and possibly the only excuse to make that suit that we'll ever get! I am SO hype for this!! -
Any word on when we'll hear some more about this?

I'd say they're loose tie-in sets for JLA, like the Avengers Assemble sets, so most likely a traditional Ronnie is on the way, no stylizing. I was going to say that Cheetah isn't in the show either, but I double-checked and actually found a screenshot from the title sequence which features both Cheetah and Reverse Flash! Either way, though, I think their inclusion has more to do with fan demand than anything else, and it doesn't hurt that they're archvillains for two household names. Plus, if you look at that big promotional image of DC's big villains, we've got everyone on it in some form or another save for them, Black Adam, Attrocitus, Dex-Starr, and Solomon Grundy. Solomon Grundy definitely seems to be the next most obvious villain to make, by the way. Even Imaginext has a Grundy on the shelves. -

Me too. It'll be a long time before we find yellow legs with red boots otherwise. Flash can get his from swim trunks, but unless there's a Fun at the Nudist Colony set soon, I think we're out of luck. -

Gotcha. I figure they'll go with the Ghost Rider piece, since it's so new, but I'm also still unsure of why they gave Firestorm that helmet thingy as a piece and not a print in LB3, so sometimes Lego just makes kinda dumb decisions. -

One last thing: Firestorm's head. What's going on there. Is it a new mold, or are we getting the Ghost Rider head with new printing? -

This wave is likely to be much, much smaller. As far as I can tell, we only know of Black Canary, Doctor Phosphorus, and Hugo Strange, so that could just be one set. -

Is it safe to assume that if we're getting Reverse Flash, that we would also be getting the Flash proper in the same set? Or maybe a member of the Flash family..? -

I don't think that second one is necessarily one set. Lex and Firestorm sound like they're in a set together. I think Black Canary and Hugo Strange are part of the LBM line. -

So no Green Arrow yet, but Superman and Krypto are a sure thing. It's probably way, way too early to tell at this point, but is Supes going to have any extra draw to him (boot printing, the newer head, etc.)?
