42056 - Porsche Speculation
Kubavet replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I've seen 2H2016 catalog for retailers. There was bucket wheel excavator, claas xerion and new volvo. There wasn't porsche. I'm affraid that it's going to be some kind of exclusive set. -
Hi, I've built chassis for my defender 110 (rc version) and i have to say that it's impressive. I found one thing that is worrying me- turning radius. When i turn left it's good, but when I turn right it barely turns. Have You Guys expirienced that problem? Kuba

I was wondering if there is enough space to motorize 42038-b ? Anyway it looks great as a car. -
I got 8448, it was so much fun to build it. It was my dream since 1999 :)

[MOC] Caterham "super sport"
Kubavet replied to Kubavet's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thank You, it's rather loosely based of caterham -
Hi Guys, I would like to present You my second moc, after dark years. I know that it's not extacly the same as real Caterham, but I think It's my first moc worth showing. It's just my vision of super tuned Caterham r500. It has two L motors for drive, and one servo motor for steering. I built it using parts from two sets- 42000 and 9398. It doesn't have second seat and fenders because of weight- You know how important it is during races (and I had to find a place for IR reciver) ;) It has working steering wheel, adjustable mirrors and independent suspension. I hope You'll like it. Untitled by danecki.jakub, on Flickr by danecki.jakub, on Flickr by danecki.jakub, on Flickr by danecki.jakub, on Flickr by danecki.jakub, on Flickr by danecki.jakub, on Flickr

Thank You, You are right, it all depends of my goal. I was a little excited because of attractive price of 8466, but it looks that 9398 will be better for me.
