Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Dharkan replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well we should get an exclusive. I mean why wouldn't we? I'm sorry but Tumbler is a bad set. Just a big black chunk of parts. But some people like it because it is an exclusive. So what's wrong with giving us an Avengers Tower? -
Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Guys no offense but how many times we have to repeat that Rocket's Warbird is the same ship as Milano? Just different colors and very little mods maybe (which I doubt) and thanks for information hulk_smash, glad to see things getting slowly but surely clear. I also hope for a good D2C exclusive from Marvel, I wasn't really interested in DC ones. -
No offense but this is not a logical way of justification. They can just base it on Justice League: War not for the popularity but just for the sake of giving set a theme. I don't think Avengers Assemble was that popular but we got two sets from it so. You'll see when we get the pictures or more information from these sets. That Darkseid set is based on it, I'm sure of it. (Assault on Arkham is something else, there's no doubt we won't see anything based on it in LEGO)

Plastic Man is wannabe Reed Richards. :P Jokes aside, he'd be a pretty good exclusive figure, I might get that.

Something like Hagrid I believe.

I agree with you about quiver. And it is about time they update their quiver mold too. -
Darkseid set is based of Justice League: War animation. So it probably is a big set, with bigfig Darkseid, Batman, Supes, WW, Shazam! and Cyborg. Probably one or two will be missing but I really hope to get them all. I didn't write Green Lantern because we'll get him someplace else anyway. That manta set might be about Aquaman which I really hope it isn't. We already have Aquaman and he's not too good in New 52. And other one is abour Brainiac (obviously) though we can get Cyborg in this set instead which might make sense. All in all, I'm pretty confident about the Darkseid set minifig lineup, I hope I end up making the right guesses. :D

Mandarin was a disaster (so was Iron Man 3), they just wanted to give a political message and wasted a great enemy of Iron Man for that. -
I really hope that we get a Shazam! he's such a great character to have. Better than GA or MM.

Those figs would be awesome if they turn out to be true. Though I would prefer Solomon Grundy instead of Frankenstein.

The classic 'smiley' - is it copyrighted?
Dharkan replied to opn2's topic in General LEGO Discussion
No. The creator left it public domain. But the yellow, round smiley face, the one in pins and stuff is copyrighted I believe. I don't think LEGO pays for it though, if that was what you were wondering. -

By the way, the amount of sets LEGO can produce is up to LEGO. If I'm not mistaken, they have some kind of limit and they need to pay extra if they want to make more sets than that. Correct me if I'm wrong. -
Custom Minifigures with using of Paints and GreenStuff

A fellow warhammer fan I pressume? Great job the figs, especially liked the Quicksilver. -
By the way, isn't Star-Lord's face little bit disappointing? I mean yeah, it is probably as close as it gets but that it the most widely used face in Lego, isn't it?

It doesn't matter to me how good they are. They are not Lego. They are infringing patents. And I'd not have felt satisfied as a LEGO collector to have those figures in my collections because they simply are not LEGO.

Well you can't know that. It is up to Lego to use the spots that are left over from movie sets. And you also don't know if they are increasing the number of sets they are going to release or not, Superheroes sets are selling like hot cakes. -

I don't want to get him with AoU sets. We can get him later on with the eventual AoS sets if the serie does not blow up. -
That is a boring car. I really hope it won't turn out to be a set unless it has nice minifigs.

The Collector and Zurr Batman won't be in any set (for any time in near future). I'd love the Collector but we are not lucky enough to go SDCC I guess. -

Next Lego Marvel game won't be out until late 2015 or first quarter of 2016. -
Waste of money. I can understand 100 or 110 bucks but 130 is overpriced. Way overpriced.
-
Everyone would love that but that is not going to happen. As you know, those comics are just little fun things for kids, setting a background for the sets together. And Geoff Johns has more important things to do :P

Only 2 minifigures anyway. Just some exclusive minifigure gifts to go along with it.

200$ set would be a big UCS scale Tumbler if it is real. I don't expect minifigures at all. But I don't want this Tumbler to be true, it is a bad way to use exclusive set slot.
