  1. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091203/ Of course, if that figure is a collectible minifigure... there can be only one (in a box).
  2. My list of S5 minifigures was updated yet again, and are all available via my Bricklink store if you want to buy them.
  3. I've got more Dwarves than I'd like, you're welcome to them for one of your Lumberjacks. I think it would be easier to feel for the various parts - I had a look at the dots on the packets and they're very feint. Has anyone had movement from pre-ordering from Play? The statuses on my order have changed to Order placed, but they've suggested my "account was declined" (I have the money on my card).
  4. Any guesses what the colour of the packets will be, if these are Series 6 minifigures? I'm going to guess purple, but I have a feeling it will be red.
  5. My eye is on the "emo" skateboarder and the female astronaut, strangely enough, although the leprechaun is well executed too. I have to say I'm not a fan of the meat piece or the Minotaur. But again, opinions may change when and if these are released. I really really hope a new cheerleader is somewhere in the roster. We seem to be missing sports- and horror-themed figures.
  6. It's one of these bodywear parts. I'll do a part trade for your Zookeeper. The S5 minifigures I have in my possession are in my (temporarily re-opened) Bricklink store.
  7. He update minifigure list again!
  8. Pretty much the items listed above, or if you have something you think I'd like.
  9. I bought 12 more just now from the Notting Hill Gate branch of Smiths, and I've completed the set. I take back my rejection of the Egyptian woman, her head is rather nice and the torso could be put to work. The fitness person is okay - perhaps use her head for a female jogger, and the torso and legs for a gymnast, trapeze artist or someone (preferably female) working out at a gym. The gladiator, for some reason, came without a shield is meh. Time to update my trading list again.
  10. Not to brag, gloat or anything, but of the 20 I bought last night I've got 13 of the 16 - including two Graduates and two Lizard Suit Guys. They were all picked by the person behind the counter. I'm only missing the Gladiator, Egyptian woman and the dancer/fitness person. My ratings so far, having had the chance to see [most of] them up close: Best in series: Graduate Wouldn't say no to: Lizard Suit Guy, Cave Girl, Eskimo(?), Boxer, Zookeeper Take or leave: Snowboarder, Gangster, dancer/fitness person, Lumberjack, Detective/Sleuth, Royal Guard You can have: Gladiator, Dwarf, Kid Clown, Egyptian woman.
  11. Try WH Smiths, I found them at the Westfield branch earlier tonight (ask at the till).
  12. Updated my trading portal post with the outcome of my first S5 haul.
  13. I can confirm, S5 has landed at WH Smiths in Westfield. Ask for them at the counter, that's where they're hidden. Best of all, they're 1.99.
  14. I'm going to check Westfield in the next hour or so, will keep you folks informed. In the meantime, WH Smiths in Victoria train station has plenty of S4 for the bargain price of £2.49. Can't say no to that.
  15. Thanks for the hookup, I've just bought four Graduates from said seller. I haven't ever bought collectible minifigures from feeBay, but right now that offer beat BrickLink hands down.
  16. Here's the newest batch of items for trading (or perhaps selling): In particular I'm after the following items... If you're interested, send me a PM.
  17. While the Statue of Liberty looks hot, I'm not too keen on the alien (right now anyway). Always excited to get more pieces in the sand colours.
  18. I have an artistic background (i.e. I used to specialise in art subjects), and now I'm confused.
  19. Great minds :)
  20. The main reason I got back into Lego was to use it as an art medium. At the time I was into sculpting on top of vinyl figures with Sculpey, but otherwise I struggle with three-dimensional creations.
  21. Awesome news. But I ain't going to Essex.
  22. Verry funny you... Anyway, after doing some digging I found the store's address. No idea if they have them.
