Finally got myself a box of S5 figures (minus the box), and the distribution is exactly the same as in the review.

Funnily enough I was about to compile a list of my least favourite (read: worst) figures in each series. And here's mine right now: Series 1: Diver This over the Crash Dummy, because at least they can make a feasible army. I'm also not a fan of flippers. Series 2: Ringmaster Not a bad figure at all, but there didn't have to be five of them per box. There's only so much one can do with each part (besides the top hat). Series 3: Race Car Driver Compared to the other figures, this one was incredibly plain - and far too easy to come across, especially when looking for Snowboarders/Pilots/even Gorilla suit Guys. Series 4: Werewolf Not the worst, but the one I liked the least. (The torso was quite useful, and the bone was a very useful accessory.) Series 5: Egyptian Woman There are quite a few figures I'm not keen on, but the Egyptian Woman is the one I'm least keen on - only the head and perhaps the torso have any widespread use.

Had to go get some more S5 figures, because I lost the rod for one of the Dwarves... and ended up finally getting a box.

Okay, that makes 900 Graduates up for grabs. I don't think I'd want that many, unless I was building an entire university.

Updated my minifig trading portal post with the last batch of S5 figures I'll be purchasing, unless there's a mad sale somewhere. Come and get them.

A total of 32 S5 minifigures (4 of which were Graduates), and two large PAB cups, courtesy of Brighton.

I'm heading to Brighton today, will report on my findings.

Wasn't there an old transparent colour that more closely resembled black? I know that the more recent version is brown.

I stumbled on to BrickForge a couple of days ago just out of curiosity, and I have some of the new bottle parts and some test tubes on their way right now. Excellent call!

Without giving anything away, the answer is right in front of you.

Bluewater is the best bet, the last couple of times I was there they had 1x4 tiles in green, as well as 1x1 tiles in trans red and trans green. I've also seen 2x2 tiles in red.

That's an answer, but my answer's a lot simpler.

All right, as a little "homework" assignment for anyone who wants to take part: assuming my prices on BL are extortionately high (which I would disagree), what's my reason for setting those prices? First to get the right answer gets a prize, not sure what yet.

Both my minifigure list and my BrickLink store have been updated with goods.

I bought some of the new bottle and test tube parts from Brickforge earlier, all in transparent colours. I'm going to head to a WH Smiths later to buy my box of S5 figures.

That's good news. Owing to circumstances, I cancelled the pre-order and made a new order of 60 figures instead - let's see if that makes a difference. If I don't get any movement by tomorrow I'm going elsewhere.

A typical "me too" regarding the alien. I particularly like the white gun coupled with the green laser beam, it definitely suits this figure. Any word on the other six figures? I figure there's a sports person and a horror-themed figure yet to come.

I've seen a couple of the bios... going by suspected hints I would guess a Professor and maybe even a boxing kangaroo might emerge. (A kangaroo would be possible given the lizard guy's tail, but then again there are the legs.)

Has anyone had any movement from Play? I haven't.
