  1. @Zerobricks Thanks!)) Yes, you're right, that setup would definitely be much better in case I would like to take this truck to it's limits and built it primarily for performance (and had more unused planetary hubs). :D I wanted to avoid the 8t-8t gear combination too, but there was not enough space (and reason, as I built this mostly as showcar for exhibitions) in the chassis for the 24t-24t version. Then I would also go for the new differential as well instead these old ones.
  2. Well, it definitely is not the 42126 Raptor, but I can not deny that I had a intention to rebuild that set into proper 4WD version with 3 differentials in the beginning of this MOC. Well, things got wild then, and I ended with this slightly short RC generic pickup truck with working fake engine, 3 C+ L motors, working fake V6 half-way under the hood and arduino-powered flash light hazard lights (still in development - better case for the PCB needed). The tow truck accessory is there just for the effect and does not work. Yes, there are many 3D printed parts (headlight covers, tow-hooks in the front, steering wheel, rims and 3rd party tires. Everything other is is genuine LEGO (expect LEDs and PCB ofcourse). I am considering making instructions and video. 3. Nice one. I have no idea how I missed this topic. Would it be possible to take a closer look to front wheel hub attachment? I am currently building something with very similar initial conditions, so I am looking for little bit of inspiration. :)
  4. Let there be front and rear lights. Next upgrade - hopefully rear swingarm and probably upgraded fake engine with 3D printed sideplates - need to come up with updated transmission. But then I do not know whether to share the progress here or not?
  5. Ok, update time. What do you think about possibility to have instructions for this MOC?
  6. @Lipko Heh, thank you, I am honoured that you like it. Well, I plan to make at least sketch drawing of the vision of this motorcycle in not so distant future, and after practicing surface modelling, I might take a deeper look into deeper de-legoizing this MOC. @nerdsforprez Thanks. I have never imagined that my MOC could have such an side effect. @MajklSpajkl Thanks!
  7. Thanks. No, you found them all. It would not be natural, because I do not want to damage rare lego pieces, and I plan to print new one.
  8. 'Ah reddish brown 2x4 brick, here we go again.' Purists, save your mental health and do not watch the following pictures. Anyone else - enjoy! Custom design, SLA print. DBG panels on fuel tank are painted. How I did it? I built the original frame in stud.io, exported the file to LDraw, then in LDView exported the file as STL and then opened that in CAD and started modelling.
  9. Congrats to the winners, and big Thanks for all participants and even bigger thanks for all organizers for making this contest possible. It was fun, it was fresh in ideas.
  10. Madocca1977's Dacoma redux might have answer for the front axle, if I remember correctly.
  11. 11: 10 44: 6 37: 4 6: 3 47: 2 22: 1 So many entries desserve at least 3rd position... Good luck everyone!
  12. INSTRUCTIONS are online for this little rascal. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-84196/Horcikdesigns/caferacer/#details
  13. @2GodBDGlory and @MangaNOID Thank you for support!
  14. Update time This time, the front shock is improved to better flush with the rest of the bike. I also modified the inner frame in order to move the fuel tank one stud lower. I am still considering building new fake engine module. I know, it is no more pure LEGO, so I would like to ask, whether you still want to see updates on this project here?
  15. @GerritvdG Thank you! Well, video is planned, but I can not promise when. Yes, Type 1 halfbush is my favourite element for it's texture and mechanical properties. @johnnym Thanks! I agree, the tank is quite blocky.

  17. Hi, After end of TC19 I started scratch building more motorcycle parts. Originally just to modify my TC19 entry, that got very early very wild, when I found out that I can 3D print parts that visually satisfy my visions of that MOC (should I call it still that way?). How it's transfornation into hybrid monster, Darth Vader of MPCs, goes on could be seen in it's separate topic here on. But I desperately wanted to build proper caferacer, that I could later usr as a template for my first motorcycle instructions. It had to be visually attractive, pure LEGO (or at least from 95% - I love that 3dprinted dark silver disc brake), and light and clean build. So, here it is. All photos : https://bricksafe.com/pages/horcikdesigns/hd.two-caferacer-motorcycle Its engine is inspired by Honda CX500. Under it is leg-operated 2 speed transmission. Hope you like it. 😉 And here a little comparison between The Purist and The Heretic. I plan to make instructions for the caferacer.
  18. Did you noticed the instructions booklet?
  19. @TechnicRCRacer Thank you! I really consider making them.
  20. @GerritvdG Thank you! There definitely are things to be done and discovered, but none of them is hopefully necessary or blocking the way to submitting this as the finished state. Hope to find time to look for them. :)
