  1. It is looking very good. And I am looking forward to see it moving :D One question - is the front bumper sturdy enough?
  2. I think that this (already the best Lego) Mustang (I have seen so far) would be nicer, from my point of view, without the fins. :)
  3. Ok, futile hope :D GL at building. ;)
  4. Am I right that you have differentil lock in the first and third axle?
  5. Thank you. @Doc_Brown - I'm not sure whether it would be legal in this years races, because they are dedicated for 6x6s, with this (http://www.artpeter.net/trucktrial/rozvor.gif) setup of axles. Also there are some limitations about the bumper, the winch and other simple towing mechanisms are required, but this suspension, whether it had the right wheebase dimensions, would be legal. ;) I like your attempt ;) (and it was a little inspiration when building mine) ;) @z3_2drive - yes, the springs are little bit stiffer than I would like, but I have not substitution for them, so I had to use these. And yes, the axles are in very sharp angle, but when it rides, it usually gets down. ;)
  6. I used this setup in my previous Truck (link is in topic describtion or in my Flickr album), however, later the connectors ( ) started to crack, so I had to find more reliable solution ;)
  7. @dd. TheItalianBirick - As Jorgeopesi said, original Tatras have axles unaligned. ( )@dd Jorgeopesi - your had to be the 8x8 Kolos? ;)
  8. Thank you. @dd. Rockbrick - really looking forward to see your 8x8 :) @dd.Jorgeopesi - The axles are made from half beams, connected directly to the driveshaft. This isn't ideal solution, but it works. ;) Here is LDD screenshot of the axle:
  9. Thank you guys! @dd. Black-Build - it isn't very fast, but I think that it is powerful enough. I used the cable control because of saving weigh, onboard BB would move the centre of gravity higher, and performance would be worse, because of increased mass - and I'm not thinking about riding it in the sun with IR. ;) Thanks. @dd sm01 - I gered the engines down 112.545 times (this setup: 16 to 24; 12 to 36; 8 to old diff; 12 to 20; 12 to 20 (in axle, 90°); and in portal 8 to 24; " ; " means on one axle) Thanks.
  10. This massive (unfortunatelly :D ) beast is my attempt for the Fourth race of Czech Lego Technic Truck Trial series. So, just hope, that this truck will survive the "struggle" with mud. :D Features four wheel steering (two racks, one M motor, working steering wheel (only for effect)), - six wheel drive (powered by twin 5292 motors) with differential on each axle, equipped with pneumatic diff-lock (so it isn't bad when offroading); - complete cable-control (BB in hands, connected with car via wires) - attractive orange body (that weighs 400grams) - external roll cage (it is barely visible on this photo) -"tires in tires" (the external tires slipped very usually, so I've added smaller city tires to them- now the wheels make approximately one fifth of the weight of this truck (the mass of this tuck is too much (approx. 1830grams)) So, hope you like it. Video might be after the race. ;) (video is done yet!) Please pay attention for the stickers :D Gallery (that means more photos for FREE :D ): https://www.flickr.c...57646272668783/ (You can compare this orange new (means better :D) one with my older Trial Truck (T815 6x6 in white, done for previous race, without diffs, remotely contolled via IR, 2x XLmotor+M mot.) : https://www.flickr.c...57645088735874/ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ EDIT: VIDEO:
  11. When am I not building, I am drawing ;) (and when it is time, also riding bike, or reading books (and thinking about consumerism - and getting a bit angry :D)) :D More drawings: http://horcikdesigns.deviantart.com/gallery/
  12. Very nice. ;) It was imposible to mount that leaf springs to the fron axles too? It would be more realistic, I think ;) (T. Kolos 8x8 had leafs both in front and back)
  13. Looking forward to see more of this ;)
  14. Very nice crawler, but the best thing at it are axles. I like their simplicity. And what's more, beautiful rim decals ;)
  15. I agree with Black-Build - make it simplier. ;) However, I would let there the function of swithcing between one drive motor, but it would be manual ;) (because of weight) But I like the idea, and lookig forward to see improved version ;)
  16. Thank you very much, I am glad you all like it. I am sorry Tim, but video does not exist :) I hurried to build the hot-rod (Weird cab, link to topic is in the 0th post here), so I made just few photos and promissed to return to idea of Volksrod later ;)
  17. Thank you, I have not expected, that this one could be praised ;D Thanks. ;)
  18. Hi, here is my first try to build a Volksrod in Lego. I don't hope that you'll like it, I know it is not good. ;) Full album: https://www.flickr.c...57645884048103/ It uses the same front axle and motors (servo and 5292) as my previous Hot Rod (WeirdCab - on EB: http://www.eurobrick...95#entry1936214 ) But the WeirdCab followed in time after disassembling this ducklin'. :D
