Although it is another monster truck and it's drag twin, but I love them both... (I think that now I know why some buildes like to build other people's MOCs :D)

Sorry for spamming, but the debate turned that way - it seems clearly childern are educated (in schools, by TV, adverisments, etc.) to become lazy (stupid) consumers - this type of behavior is expected from tomorrow's citizens of our civilization of "blind" sheepish followers ... this situation is more complex than I can imagine, and it is sadly, that toys like LEGO, that are primarily made to increase childern's imagination and problem-solving skills, is going this way too. Another aspect is our - AFOL's point of view, when we see outstanding models on the net (or at some different, more realistic places), and compare the official sets, that are designed in that strange way, to fulfill all society's needs... It is strange world we live in, or we all are strange, it is relative :D

[WIP] Flying Brick
HorcikDesigns replied to whale2's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
In the moment I saw the canopy, I have to say, that aerodynamic friction is going to be your main enemy in this outstanding, but utopic try to build something so complicated... However, good luck... ;) -

Does not the iPhone bend, when you move it and the air goes against it? :D Nice MOC, and what's more - useful ;) -
[MOC] Hot Rod - Fire Bucket
HorcikDesigns replied to sm 01's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
it is nice, anyway, as everybody said here, but the best thing about it, from my point of view is the use of 5292 motor as axle-cap (that thing on the axle under which is hidden diff in real-life axles ; I do not know how to call it right) ;) -
Hi, Well, this is my first try to assemble truck with theese wheels (I finally bought them enough to make this ;) ) It features HOG steering that must be disassembled (axle-connector) when you want to pneumatically lift the cabin to see the fake motor, or do something with front independent suspension. It also features manually controlled outriggers with pneumatic cylinders on their end. It is also well (and it wasn't planned equipped for placing small PF BBs (Li-Po or AAA). However, I have not enough space in it and bricks and idea to finish the superstructure on the M-motor powered turntable. Non-working elements disassembled and more working showed: Two rear "axles", if I can call them so, are simple - rigid to support the rear of the truck, and in combination with the front soft and heavy-loaded front suspension, to tilt the whole truck in weird way... FULL ALBUM: https://www.flickr.c...57649089686517/ It has many bugs, it is not perfect, but it was fun to build, and I think I have learned a lot ;) (And I think that motorised version without many features (outriggers, etc.) is going to come in next weeks or years (? ), but I do not make promises ;)) Enjoy, and please comment to tell me what you think about it ;)

Thanks for comment. I know what you mean by the non-symetrical engine, but it is the main feature of the wohle ship, I aimed to make it look like something very complicated and primarily not symetric ;) The the rest of the ship is greebled to fit to the engine part. However, I agree that it is a bit messy and non-proffesional :D

[WIP] Flying Brick

I belive that there's a way to make a LEGO-based plane, and that you are very close to it. But as many people said here, things like retractable gear, and all other features of real planes make it only more impossible. ;) -
Thank you all, I am glad you like it ;)

Thank you very much ;)

Well, (I do not know what to write... - as primarily Technic fan I would like to describe it's functions, motorization, show you the video of performance, etc...) But here I would like to show you my attempt in field of building the future, the classic space-ish vehicle, or, if I can call it so - spaceship. Hope you like it, maybe are there more to come in next weeks... ;) Full album: https://www.flickr.c...57648859829919/
