I am actually surprised how quiet this page is. In absence of any news from the Toy Fair, I expected at least we go back to discussing whether or not hooded elves are proper or not.

I am sure there will be a third wave. People are just being negative. No news is good news, so absent an official statement that the line is ending, I'm holding on hope.

@Blazej_Holen - no news yet, maybe at the NY toy fair next month. A caslte set was released with the new Lego movie theme.

That news is pretty disappointing. But it makes sense - I was always confused by the sets in each LOTR wave. Why combined FOTR and TT in the first wave, and FOTR and ROTK in the second wave. I figured the first wave would be only FOTR, second wave TT, and third ROTK. I guess a third wave was never in consideration. Too bad no Gondor mini-figs or sets.

I take it as a good sign too. In my area, all the TRU, targets, regional stores, and even the Lego store are out of hobbit sets.

Anyone else experiencing sold out hobbit waves at their tru and other stores? I can't find them anymore. Hopefully they restock soon.

It was the best match to Azog's skin tone. Unfortunately, I am not big into brickarm, or custom decals for my mini-figs. That being said, I think it turned out fairly well.

After watching DOS, Bolg, by far, was the best. Here is my attempt to custom make him. I think it turned out well. The head piece is from POTC. Last year my area got the set in early November. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing this time. Oh well, December is only a week.

Seems odd a company would be precluded from selling its own product on its own site - nonetheless, thanks for the info. Most likely TRU. That's the only place I ever saw them in the us. Here is hoping there is better distribution than last year.

Will the polybags be available online on the Lego site? I have a feeling I'm not going to luck out and find the Laketown gaurds in stores.

These sets look amazing, I'm really excited to get my hands on these. All the mini-figs look great! I'm glad this isn't the "typical" licensed theme where we end up getting multiplies of the same mini-figs (well except for gandalf, but he is alright :) ). As much as I love the dwarves, I'm glad they didn't re-release them in this second wave. Wow, the orcs look fantastic. I'm loving the new shoulder armor mold. Think of all the possibilities :)
