  1. ok, they are better than nothing, but please take a look at this picture 101_9398 von efferman auf Flickr can you see the problem? edit is it not funny? i want add a portal axle and what iam doing? a whole new chassis 101_9402 von efferman auf Flickr and why iam build so many times a chassis like a unimog?
  2. nice vid ist it only me or does the tires are looking much to small?
  3. dont let me be misunderstood: i will not use the crappy portalhubs from 8110
  4. yes, this crawler was the inspiration
  5. do you wanht pictures from the actual setup or from the final one?
  6. thanks a video will surely coming, but first i have to to design a portal axle. the ground clearance between the tires is currently not high enough for my parcour.
  7. my first true crawler 101_9394 von efferman auf Flickr and same error at every time: a jumping gear in the center of the rear axle
  8. yeah, it looks much better with powerpuller tires. and i think we should left behind the name "rock crawler". lego calls em 4x4 off roader and i think it fits better 4x4 offraoder rock crawler do you think this track is tough enough for the test vid? 101_9390 von efferman auf Flickr
  9. thanks for sharing. monday or tuesday i should get my crawler. then we will definetly get a adequate vid
  10. please read this topic, there are the infos what you search for
  11. i have ordered one 9398. when i have built it, i will test it on my crawling track, which i have used in my videos. and i will compare what is possible with my crawler tires and the tires with the old and new part number. we will see if there is a difference on the trail.
  12. its more the relationship between width and diameter. look at this picture 101_9349 von efferman auf Flickr the width is the same, but the proportions of my crawler tires is much more realistic. 94.8mm is a good size for the diameter but the 8110 tires are simply to wide.
  13. do you built two tanks or is this picture made with a tool like photoshop?
  14. august the 4th says amazon. i guess lego shop at home will it sell from early juli
  15. that is nothing new. long years ago tlg has the same design, before they changed it to the "single side open" design. i was very surprised and happy that they go back to it.
  16. beside your genious creation i must give you a compliment: your pictures have a fantastic quality
  17. same rpm with 50 percent more torque why you are dissapointed?
  18. the Mind and stevee have done some rpm tests
  19. the mind has made a simple test to find out which power the new L motor has. a liftarm is connected to the motor and press it on a weighing machine. the M has pressed 310g, the L 475g, and the XL 785g. so it seems that the L has roundabout 50% more power than the M motor and the mind says the L motor is slower than the M motor edit: btw
