thanks a video will surely coming, but first i have to to design a portal axle. the ground clearance between the tires is currently not high enough for my parcour. -

yeah, it looks much better with powerpuller tires. and i think we should left behind the name "rock crawler". lego calls em 4x4 off roader and i think it fits better 4x4 offraoder rock crawler do you think this track is tough enough for the test vid? 101_9390 von efferman auf Flickr -

its more the relationship between width and diameter. look at this picture 101_9349 von efferman auf Flickr the width is the same, but the proportions of my crawler tires is much more realistic. 94.8mm is a good size for the diameter but the 8110 tires are simply to wide.

that is nothing new. long years ago tlg has the same design, before they changed it to the "single side open" design. i was very surprised and happy that they go back to it. -
the mind has made a simple test to find out which power the new L motor has. a liftarm is connected to the motor and press it on a weighing machine. the M has pressed 310g, the L 475g, and the XL 785g. so it seems that the L has roundabout 50% more power than the M motor and the mind says the L motor is slower than the M motor edit: btw
