  1. it should be possible, but in this case i would prefer to design new axles. the current design is too specific for the twin engine setup. the possible gear ratio: 1:6 actual L > 12/24 > 12/12 > 8/24 > wheel 1:10 possible if the actual ratio is to fast L > 12/24 > 12/20 > 8/24 > wheel
  2. long live the overkill. currently iam trying a setup with four PF-L and a gear rate of 1:6. current working title 5to ra gl 101_9509 von efferman auf Flickr
  3. not yet, but i will made a pimped 9398 B model with two servos
  4. today arrived my second 9398 and i have made a short vid two servos on one receiver socket, are working perfect synchronized
  5. standard battery box, aaa battery box or lipo accu?
  6. what for a gearratio do you have in the portalhubs? 16/16, 12/24 or 8/20? with 8/24 itr should work without a problem
  7. oh my god what have i done hopefully Lego get notice from this thread and is making tires like these
  8. very interresting idea, thanks for sharing
  9. thanks, for the links. now i know again from where i have my idea
  10. your idea sounds like it would need much space and i dont think that it would fit in a 9398 replacement axle. and this is my goal
  11. thanks for the hint, but if possible, i want a automatic system
  12. do you think this would work as a diff with limmited slip? 101_9496 von efferman auf Flickr
  13. there is definitely no space. only with a wider axle it would be possible
  14. oh works much better than mine at stock. hm it seems that my batterybox has the same problem like yours, or did you power it with non recheargable batteries (9V) instead accus (7,2V)
  15. yes they are from myself by the way, what is small in your opinion?
  16. i think there are many small RC models, you only didnt have seen yet. for example this or this
  17. very interresting. have you an idea what is the problem? maybe not every batterie was connected to the cuircuit?
  18. i like it and your use of the new perpendicular connectors on your portalhub
  19. you will imho dont have an advantage when both motors drive both axles. during my test i have seen that it works better when both axles has its own motor. btw, my "no diff axle for 9398" instruction is finished
  20. hm, i think the eneloops are heavier than the lipo, but there is imho no other big difference in performance. the instruction for my "no diff axle" are finished. here are some steps 101_9495 von efferman auf Flickr to change the direction of rotation at the wheels, change the tan bevel gear with the grey freerun bevel gear. if not, the front and rear axle will run in oposite directions
  21. nice to see that it seems that every 1.9" tires fit on the rim. what will you build with this tires?
  22. hm, it should be possible. i will till tomorrow build a 9398 compatible version the ride height is the same, it is only more compact and stable between the tires edit: i have found a solution, every connection points, like springs and balljoints at the same place like the original axle 101_9470 von efferman auf Flickr instructions tomorrow
