  1. thanks for sharing, but i think this rc system needs a own topic. two pictures for a better explain of saberwings first question first with horizontal steering arm now wikth angle steering arm the angled steering arm is reducing the slack in the towballs and the axles
  2. we have on doktor brick a second owner of 9398, which will post soon detailed informations in his thread. but maybe first after building his 9396 helicopter edit: there are pictures from the servo, the l-motor and the partslist in the doktor brick topic available teaser sorry for the big pictures, the owner wants only direct links
  3. only the c-frame is used at the torque tube part. the ball will be not used. the angled pivot point is used to save space inside the mudguard, and the angled lower wishbone is used to get the tire in a right angle to the ground.
  4. i dont know at this time, and first i must sort my parts that i could finish the logging truck. for small things is enough place on the table, but not for a 55cm moc.
  5. maybe, or maybe they want sell something like this, only with speed remote, next year
  6. good question, i will ask him edit: yes, by pressing the stop button the servo goes back in center position. conclusion: the crawler has the wrong remote included
  7. great news: the servo is proportional with the speed remote. we have only no return to center
  8. a new frontaxle for possible future projects
  9. the owner of the crawler thinks it could reduce the friction and abrasion.
  10. thank you very much conchas for this vids, and i have tried it. unfortunately it seems that ansmann has used an different type of glue which is heat resistant. i couldnt remove the tires from the rims.
  11. i have made the pictures and load them on amazon to show lego fans that it fits. i dont use the wheel sleeve and dont use aditional parts. i moved the inner diameter of the two tire walls together to get a more slender look
  12. at doktor brick a german lego forum has someone the 9398 and tested shortly the servo motor. it is not proportional, it moves only 90° and returns to cente when the remote is back in center. a very minimalistic solution
  13. what i want (search for) is this i think this would be a usefull part
  14. yes, working in the borders of lego technic is fun for me too. something what is not plausible for me, why they produce a nearly useless portal hub and forget the angled pivot point? why they dont simply produce a perpendicualar connector like these with a towball socket instead a axlehole? then my solution should be possible in the rubbish dimensions of 8110 too.
  15. welcome on eurobricks looks good so far
  16. respect, a very clever and compact design. my version of getting the pivotpoint under the tire needs much more space.
  17. i have built a chassis with your steering system and if the vehicle is not driving the steering works not really funny. Because the tires are really sticky on the surface. did you have the same problem?
  18. on amazon.de but iam not sure if the seller is shipping worldwide and on the us site of amazon i didnt found a seller for this tires
  19. i have made a testchassis to compare the tires. thanks to zblj for the inspiring beast trial truck. and i have made a short video i think the performance is better than the performance of the lego tires
  20. i think not, but i will be sure when i have built my modified willys chassis
