  2. Thanx for the great review dragonator! I'll have to pick up the sci-fi in my next purchase. I got the Halo Assault Rifle in brown and i really like it. To me it looks a lot like a camo'ed weapon.
  3. Thanx for sharing Captain Cavinano. This fleet has been placed into the Index of MOC Ships. The Ghost ship resembles a Mediterranean vessel.

  6. Mr. Grakul, I've been thinking about using crownies as crew in my next MOC. The ship is based off steampunk styling, but still has only sailing power. Thanx for the idea Well, it could be Gremlins. They originated from the Kremlin according to bugs bunny cartoons. Perhaps there is still and infestation in Sweden. This seems like a perfectly reasonable explanation so far.
  7. I've added this flag to the this Index. I had to make a note about the flag however because it's not a decal, just a method to make a flag. It is the same size as the official lego flags and could be used as a decal on a blank lego flag. Thanx Captain Cavinano

  9. Probably true since it is modeled after a WWII rifle. After some time looking at this Garand, and showing my bro, We came to the conclusion that if the sight were removed, then it'd look much older better. The cocking hammer can be easily seen as the flintlock too. This will have to wait the middle of June when i get some more Garands and compare them with each other with/without sights.
  10. I don't agree with Mr. T or P. I think part of the ship built is below the waterline. (unless Cap'n Green Hair says otherwise ) For the constitution, there are 4 decks. 2.5 of them are above the water line and 1.5 are below the water line.   16. The folder has been moderated! Also, i changed your main picture into a *.png file instead of *.bmp. I think that's what the trouble may be. I've used Black Falcon torsos in one of my pirate mocs and i liked the way it look too. are you able to get some clearer pics?
  17. Thanx Mr. T you handsome devil you! The technic beam frames on the top are pretty much as long as the ship is going to be. It needs to be 2 studs longer to get the stern cabin the proper length with equal spacing for the gun ports (i didn't want the last gun ports to be closer together than the rest of them) But i guess it all works out cause the bow is 2-3 studs too short. I'm really happy the stern is off only by 2 studs. That means i calculated the gun port spacing very close to scale and i don't have to rebuild most of the ship (again). There are cardboard cut outs for the interior of the top 3 decks that i made to have the proper angels and slopes along the entire ship above the water line. Below the water line is going to be very complicated. P
  18. I'd recommend 6259 Broadside's Brig It comes with 2 imperial soldiers (one with a shako ) and 1 pirate (in the brig) It starts for under $15 dollars on BrickLink.
  19. Looks like someone could easily make U-Clips out of the Monopods too. I've liked this idea of the U-Clip. It's just too bad that the dagger doesn't come in other colors besides silver.
  20. At Brickworld in Chicago, i plan on purchasing some more of these Garands. Hoping to get at least enough for a squad of marines.
  21. I realized that i haven't given a nice close up since i've finalized the design of the carronade. So i took some close ups of the growing number of carronades populating the spar deck. First off i've gotten further on the stern and got a good portion of it done. Here it is: Here's a close up of the portion i've gotten done: I've built up to gun port # 15 out of 16. Although the stern is far from done. Anywayz, about the Carronades... I put some guys around the carronades. They're from some weird ship that's getting built. The carronades swivel left and right, And slide back and forth for recoil. The actual carronades did this, the only feature i wasn't able to implement into these carronades is that they swivel up and down. but it's pretty good for lego i think.   22. True, Currently i'm just concerned with the narrow time gap of 1797 to 1818. I have no idea. The none flared design seems much more prevalent since the 17th century from the pics i've seen. Even the first american pilgrims are depicted with a non-flared musket. They cost $1 each.

  24. LOL! I like the parrot for the broken mast look! Your monster is on its own page in the Vig portion of Index of Land-Based MOCs to keep it from breaking anybody elses MOCs.
