  1. I mix mine all the time. I agree with what Captain Greenie said. I've got less than 20 fleshie heads and about 300 yellow heads. I don't really care about the political correctness or the actual correctness of dark figs with yellow figs. The yellow figs have always been the only color of the figs, it was nice to see some variety in the Besbin set. Fleshies were at first a pain, but i'm growing used to them and probably will use them in the future if i ever get enough.
  2. How's that Mr. Antero? Congrats on your BSB purchase! Feel free to leave a comment about the BSB in its Review Thread.
  3. Your welcome mates. There seem to be more Pirate cameo appearances as of late compared to the usual. It's almost like Pirates are more thought of by Lego employees for some reason lately.
  4. I'd like to see at least 2 sizes in non-MOC Cannons. The old size, and one size smaller. Then smaller sets can have more smaller cannons and larger sets can have the larger cannon (or a mixuture of the 2 sizes). I also would like to see a telescope.
  5. Thank you Shoc. I edited your link to go directly to Axles post. (You get that url by clicking on the # on the top right of each post; it's pretty handy for linking ppl to a specific post when the thread is multiple pages.) It's Fred with a "Ph". And i'm from Wisconsin. But you are correct that i am uneducated and can't read Russian. This at least means that TLG (or at least the ppl the make the Lego Club magazine) acknowledge that lego pirates exist.
  6. Oh your goodness! I can't believe i missed this MOC (that's EM-OH-CEE ) This is one of the Best LDD or MLCAD Land MOCs i've seen. I've added it to the Index of Land-Based MOCs.
  7. maj.com changed to majhost.com (I have NO IDEA why they would want to do that! ) Links are fixed and should work now. Thanx for informing me of this Norrington.
  8. I made that thumb-link list in less than 15 minutes. So it might not be perfect. LOL Thank you Torerik. I switched out Jason Kidd for Bespin guard. I hope everyone is copasetic now.
  9. I think BrickLink has all ready "Indexed" them in their reference section. (Although i think someone did say they were going to make a M-F Index ) Here are some links of racial diverse figs:
  10. This is some great progress Errorist! B-E-A-utiful! I like the mast so far. Great work.
  11. I got my cow and Greek guy from some Brickforge table at Brickworld Chicago. It was a real challenge to make a ship without any ship bricks.
  12. Right now, i'd probably focus on sets containing Shakos cause i'm about 35 shakos short of 50 for my Constitution Marines if pirates were released. Although in general, i'd go for sets that come with bricks that i'd like to get and as many desired figs possible. So it depends on what figs and bricks you'd like to get.
  13. FYI: Britian: Red coat soldier1 soldier2 soldier3 soldier4 by TwistedDreams Infantry Officer - Seven Years war French: Carabinier bugler by Mosana Austria: Jaeger (Seven Years' War) by Mosana Don't work.
  14. Classic Town is set in a time between the 1940s and 1950s. There are still cops and robbers, fires to be put out, and people or goods to transport. However, all vehicles and buildings are designed from this classic era. This theme is loaded with antique cars great historic buildings. A Milk Truck, A soda shop with a 50's T-bird And a UCS downtown! Not these skyscrapers that have been made lately, but small, 1 story shops like a post office, TV and appliance store, a small park, ice cream shop, barber shop (thanx MKyuum ), etc. If you could organize your ideas into the same format as the Word document, I'll submit your ideas for you. Here's what is needed: Name of the Theme. Short Description of the Theme (45-50 words). Set Idea #1 (each with about 45-50 words). Set Idea #2. Set Idea #3.
  15. Maybe the ghost is the Captain? I've added this MOC to the Index of MOC Ships; it's row 51 column "a" Thanx for sharing.
  16. This is a nice little ship. The coloring is very nice, i'd add some yellow detail to the stern. But it's really nice otherwise. Good job copying the design. I've added this MOC to the Index of MOC Ships.
  17. I wonder if the "release of pirates in 2009" rumor is really true. This is the first hard evidence EVER!
  18. Great work on this Chess Set! There is a lot of great detail in this MOC. I really like it. I should make a Piratey Chess set. I've added this MOC to the Land-Based MOC Index. Great work! And thanx for sharing.
  19. So i am away from my collection from my collection during the summer for an internship. My mom got me some bricks at a garage sale. (I love my mom ) But i did what any other pirate fan would do away from his piratey collection, build a Pirate MOC. Here's a pic of the rest of the pieces i had at my disposal: I had very limited pieces to build this: Here are some other thumb-links: The Territory of Wisconsin needed a shipment of their first Holstein Cow. Some weirdly dressed Greek guy wanted to deliver this cow during this momentous occasion for the territory of Wisconsin. Cheese Production
  20. Good! I don't know haw to use any of the lego softwares. Hopefully your money problem gets situated. Welcome back Admiral.
  21. It appears that your paper weight was the precursor to your awesome chess set. Great work and good use of the M1 Garand We don't have a paperweight index yet so i placed this MOC in the Vig portion of the Land-Based MOCs Index.
  22. I'm curious where you got that figure? I have yet to hear of such a small amount of space for a cannon; I'd be interested to read where you got that from. Every ship i've seen has at least an 8 foot (stud) space for each cannon. Check out the math of the 36-gun HMS Sirius. I'd let this one have the spot light a little longer mate. You could always post a blurry, extreme close-up pic in this thread to increase the anticipation. Mr. Tiber and Captain Greenie like to do that.
  23. Alright! Now we get to see what Batman's Great-great grandfather looks like.
  24. Now that's the best way to introduce yourself! With a ship! It's design looks a lot like one of the Original American Six Frigates. The only change i'd do to this ship is to have more studs between each gun port. Other than that, it looks Great! In the future, please put in down-sized pics of 800x600 when posting pics so that it decreases upload time for others to see the pics. I've replaced the your current pics with down-sized ones. Also, i've added this ship to the Index of MOC Ships.
  25. Good improvements to your Vig It's a good idea to use the Harry Potter sharkboy for a part of Davy Jones Crew. I've also added this vig to the Vig portion of the Index of Land-Based MOCs. Again. good work mate.
