When you've updated the thread like this, it's definitely ok to double post. Yarrrrrrrrr! More pirates. We could always use more pirates! No problem mate. Good improvements onto the original model. There has been some great improvements on your ship building skills! Great work Axle. Phredit: I've added this MOC to the Index of MOC Ships.

Bulklot? I've never been there. Where is it? Have you recently purchased these sets Mr. Panda?

I made it to brickworld for Saturday only. It was awesome I found this guy there who made Brickzone.net He had all these Fabuland MOCs there. He even gave me his autograph! I found Copmike (left) and Hinckley (right) there. I also found Copmike (left) and Hinckley (right) there too. (clicky ) It was awesome to meet Hinckley, Copmike, Brick Miner, ellerb, and... ...and there was someone else. I think it began with an R and ended with a number. I can't believe i forgot his name. I'm the worst person ever! The MOCs there were awesome! And so were the ppl.

May i have your autograph oh great sire? Great work Double-Oh Seven! I'm always a big fan of your work.

Not bad, not bad at all. I'll just be honest and say that at first is didn't like the "square edged" shako and i'm more used to the "coned" lego version. Then, i read more posts about the different types of shakos and wondered what type of shako the US marines wore exactly. And lookie there. Minus the plum, the US Marine shakos look very close to your version. Great work woody! I look forward to further prototypes.

I think it means Gambling Communist. Great work Staudie! I'm always a fan of your work I think i'll use the EB TV one. Thanx for sharing. -
Dutch VOC ship the Prins Willim, minifig scale!
Capn Frank replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
Same here! This ship is looking awesome so far! I enjoy your precise measuring instruments. Maybe i should post pics of mine next time i'm home. I really like the idea of building this ship upside down below the waterline. -
Now what are gonna do?!? I'm gonna have to finish my Constitution ASAP to make plan A work! First Cap'n Greenie is gonna have to tell what plan A is first though. Great improvement Z! Is the entire fort going to receive a similar face lift?

And why have you stopped flying them backwards? It appears that some ppl who fly their flags backwards, convert to forwardism. And i don't know of any forwardists who have converted backwardism. Am i wrong?

I fixed the link to this location.

It's great that you're posting in the good forum You don't always need to go for realism. According to ZCerberus, it's also good to go for a cool looking ship. I like the coloring of the ship. However, i'd move main mast a little forward. If you'd like to see some other ships with the same bow piece, there was a contest here recently for ships like yours. Here's the link. fixed the link I've added your ship to the Index of MOC Ships.

Yup it's right here: Although you've some how changed your name to starstefan.

Why are you sticking your tongue at me? I have never seen these bricks used for a cannon. It actually looks pretty good. I'll have to experiment with those bricks after the summer is over.

The Stop Sign is hilarious! You are a great builder, and an artist Mr. Slyowl! The palm tree looks very nice. I'll have to get some of those leaves now. Looks like the monkeys have the sense to abandon port. And welcome again to the Land-Based MOCs Index!

Mr. Tiber made one in Gray and that worked out very nicely. Perhaps a mixture of mostly Light Gray and some Greens would probably work nicely. Let us know when this ship complete to add it to our Ship Index.
-
For only 200 pieces, there is a lot of detail in this MOC. This is great work TPRU! I like the idea of using Palm tree stumps for torches! That looks pretty kool. This MOC has been added to the Index of Land-Based MOCs in the Non-Military Section.

You're right about that mate. My 20 is not close to your 2. But it wouldn't take too much for you to catch up.
-
B-E-A-utiful! You've captured the look of a Mayanese Temple very well Spectacular Work Batbrick! Told you that you're a great builder. I've added this MOC to the Non-Military portion of the Land-Based MOCs Index.

Your Junk sails look a lot better! Nice work Captain I've added this ship to the Index of MOC Ships. Keep up the good work.

The is very nice looking The camel is very realistic looking. It seems that there is too much tan though. I'd add a little color to make the scenery more interesting. I'd also add some palm trees. Personally, i think there be at least one palm tree in egypt.

Agreed! Ease off on the insulting Mr. Strat. It may be hard to believe people, but there are others who have deep pockets that have a love for lego. Legopirate83 appears to have large amounts of money to spend on the brick having 3 50-gallon containers full of unsorted bricks. And by the looks of his large creation, the Dos Mas Cervezas, i have no reason to doubt his claim. So with that being said, it may take a couple of weeks for Mr. Kinzcove to start receiving the loads of cannons, and men that he desires to purchase. Until then, we have no reason to make fun of or insult Mr. Kinzcove! Also, to Mr. Kinzcove: In the past, ppl usually don't appreciate it when others say how much money they have to spend on the lego, whether it be $375 or $375,000. To me it is a shows a lack of maturity. In hind sight, i think just saying "you can easily afford the desired cannons and M-Fs" would have sufficed and leave it at that.

I never buy MMO games. I don't care how sweet the game is, i never like the idea of having to pay a monthly charge to play it. I'm too cheap I love RPG games and have been hoping for a great age of sail RPG games ship to ship combat.

What French Polynesian Women really look like
Capn Frank replied to cyclone501's topic in LEGO Pirates
Hmm... ...Does anyone know if Polynesians are cannibals? If they are, then that exactly who the islanders were modeled after. -
Are you looking for blue coats or red coats? Shakoed or tricorn soldiers? Or a mix? Sounds like you're going to have to build this one on your own, especially if you'd like all the troops and cannons to fit inside. Feel free to check out our Index of Land-Based MOCs. If you scroll down to the Harbors and Dioramas, there might be some MOCs that are big enough for your inspiration. Just so it's very clear; buying and selling directly on this website is done in the Buy, Sell, Trade, and Finds Forum and you must have Citizen's rank to buy or sell directly on this site. But feel free to inquire where some sites are that sell what you need. In case you don't know about the site, there's also BrickLink for your brick purchasing needs.

Semi-Forward My flags always fly in a semi-forward direction. My sails are always furled forward, which is opposite from the direction from where the wind is coming from. I think this is especially true on square rigged vessels. And i point the flags semi-perpendicular the furling or opposite from where the wind is coming from. In a "How-to-Sail" book that i read in the library, i read that a lateen-rigged vessel isn't the most efficient when sailing directly with the wind. They must always be at a slight angle with the wind to get the most speed out of the wind.
