I would look for vessels that have at least three sails per mast in the Ship Index to see how others have done it in the thumblinks of topics or picture folders. The two main ideas that I've seen quickly browsing the index include: 25-C Bricks were used to create the mast portion below the crows nest. 30-A Similar to Captain Blackmoor's suggestion where only "traditional" mast pieces are used, which I think is a good suggestion + + + + + Hope that helps.

Belated Thanks! I did end up making a $40 BL purchase of 5 Cannons and a whole bunch of rown tiles and plates for Constitution. Only 3 Cannons left and 30 zillion tiles and plates left to get.

I am really short on pink bricks. I saw new basic pink houses for sale at the store and almost bought them. Alas, I made a BL order instead. Seeing this entry makes me wish my BL order was smaller so that I could have gotten a pink house.

Thank you for the comments! Hey Hairy, Sorry for the very late reply. Yes, those are the very same pieces used in the Slave I ship. The "clam shell" pieces are part # 41749 & 41750. I'll see if I can get a parts list together. The sub is still built and is sitting at my office cubical right now. Now that dark tan and pearl gold pieces exist, it would be nice to use more accurately colored bricks.

You may have noticed the new Orient game set review thingy on the EB front page. At first glance I did not think much of the set. I mean what I want to see in the front page are pics of the POTC sets. Savy? I looked at the front page picture a second time this evening and noticed some beautiful rum bottles that come with the set, as shown in the review: I own a few of these perfume bottles, and they are my favorite bottles of rum.

evildead, This is a great islander MOC. There is a lot of detail, but... I am so confused. I may have been out of the loop for a while, but last I knew Islanders do not eat pork. They eat pirates.

I really wanted to attend BW this year, since I have been missing out on so much that has been going in AFOL land. However my brother had decided to have wedding that day and asked me to stand up. I said yes without thinking about it, but after the phone call I quickly realized that it's the same weekend as BW! I debated which to attend, my brother's wedding or BW. My wife made the decision for me. Alas, I did not attend BW. Next year I'm attending, and spending all four days there!!! I will then be done with school and all my brothers will have been married. It'll just be me and my Lego! Oh... ...and Hinck. Oh... ...and Copmike. Oh... ...and my Wife.

The MOPD-1A is the UNSC's answer for a much needed urban assault vehicle. MOPD stands for Mobilization Of Personel Device, but is commonly referred to as "moped". This vehicle will be featured in Halo 16. This vehicle is one wheel drive, and is capable of navigating through any narrow ally. UNSC Marins have been known to even drive though derelict buildings. A small grenade launcher is mounted in the rear to ward off anybody crazy enough to chase the MOPD. There are only two minor disadvantages for this versatile vehicle. First, there is no cover provided for the pilot or gunner, and second, when this vehicle is carrying two Spartans, acceleration is almost non-existent. I wanted to find a creative way to show off my Brick Forge scooter.

It's sad to see what could have been a great theme last for only a short while. If the theme is selling like hot cakes, why would they discontinue it?!??!?!? Unless there is going to be a POTC theme. Well I guess it's probably going to happen. I figured it is was bound to. The pirate's theme will turn into humans versus skelies. I have enough of the stupid skelies from the castle line! On a lighter note, I think Captain Green Hair would make a great Captain Jack Sparrow.
