    Oleon does have a topic to coordinate our efforts. Just because there isn't anything posted in this topic, doesn't mean we aren't active. The third ship wasn't used in the first month of MRCA, but was named in the Private Message.

    The monkeys who update the ship index are not trained very well and also have a drinking problem. The rations of rum has been decreased to 5 liters a day per monkey to hopefully increase discipline and accuracy.

    Thank you all for the great comments. The same type of fish found in the Rocky River Retreat Thanks, I wanted a smaller door than the dual 6-wide, arch doors. There aren't a lot of other options I have. Yes they are. They're given much more room than most sets though.

    A couple small squads of the Royal Army have joined in the defense of Breshaun. The veterans may be old, and the rest may be new and have not experienced combat, but they drill constantly. I also wanted to make an attempt at a decent looking building using primarily the junior, pirate wall panel. The best way to practice is on a life-sized, red target. Some interior shots:

    Great combo in your MOD. I have both sets, and only treasure island is (semi)complete because I don't need its pieces (yet). Captain Braunsfeld would be proud.

    Thank you for sharing you're results. I expected the jib to attach to tie at the base of the mast instead of the rigging rail.

    If you'd like to keep using the BB sails, here's what I'd recommend: Foremast (front mast) could have 2 large square-rigged sails with one small at the top. Mainmast (middle mast) could have the same sails as the Foremast, 2 large and one small, and it would be a little taller than the Foreast. Mizzenmast (back mast) could have 2 small square-rigged sails or one small sail and a Lateen-rigged (triangular) sail. This would be the shortest mast. With a Lateen and a small square-rigger on the Mizzen the vessel is classic-ship rigged and you could get away with a raised stern and an ornate captain's cabin.

    This is a very large MOC, and progress can be slow sometimes. I wouldn't hold your breath for updates, this topic has been around since April, 2012. I suspect that each update and build process goes through multiple iterations before being complete. Then, there are the large bricklink purchases needed to continue building. I love that Shiplover keeps up posted on his progress and hope that he'll be able to complete it soon. It would be really awesome to see a MOC like this at a Lego convention.

    I removed your three other duplicate topics. Those images will need to be down-sized before being posted on EB. Your images rarely need to be larger than 800x600.

    I recommend adding a gangway with higher railing along the gangway similar to the BSB. Otherwise the stern may look too tall with the additional length.

    Such simple additions make the set so much more complete. Although it looks like a lot more work would be involved to complete the (new) fort. I mean how is an imperial supposed to put a pirate in jail, or shake hand with the gov'ner?
