  1. my two favorite mini'figs are definetly these two equally I've got 15-20 of each torso and i'm real happy i've got so many *wub* i have a real hard time chosing between BlueFalcon or Crusader when building a castle (although it's been almost 10 years since i've build one :-P) I've got pirates in the brain. I hate any of these guys: They're all so stinkin ugly! but you guys know that already. I'm glad lego has started to make armor and torsos w/ gray brown and black again
  2. nice moc brickster! i really like how they've used blue bricks sideways instead of blue plates. That's a real good idea. the viking ship is a little small, but it still looks good. Lots of detail on everything (smoke going out of the burning cabin, flowers, etc.). What is that door made out of on the cabin? Edit: oops my bad! err... ...nice find online Brickster! :-P
  3. My apologies Mister Phes, I like your governor's mansion (err villa :-$ ), I look foward to seeing more MOCs from ya. BTW, your pics are much better than mine. I don't ever have a problem seeing the detail on yer MOCs. After further thought, I've decided that i really like the blue building. Whenever I build a MOC fort, I think i'll have a blue building with yellow detailing in it somewhere. I could see how it could break up the white and yellow and still look real nice.
  4. *none of the above* Millenium Falcon USC all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the coolest and most unique ship in star wars
  5. I also would like to see pics of your MOC matey.
  6. I sent my brother the link of this harbor and he thinks it's awesome! I told my brother he should make a kewl harbor this big. He said he may not have enough pieces; the guys got almost every imperial set ever made and doubles and triples of the medium and smaller sets. He doesn't think he'll be able to make one strong enough to fend off me frigate i think. I hope he's right >8-) . Edit: LOL! Yeah them space wheels provide good horsepower and acceleration for blitz attacks and quick get-aways if i'm over gunned. It's hard to steer though, but it's very easy to move the ship around considering its mass and size. When i start buying from BL, i think i'll buy sets and only get imperial fort sets. i love those white castle walls.
  7. SWEET!! We've been sailin for weeks in utter disrepair. We've heard good things about your boat shop and wanted quality craftmanship. We almost ran out of gas getting here but we made it :-P . Thanks matey, starting on the repairs of our ship. Hey what type of payment do you recieve, credit, dublunes, or rum? *blush* If you think my ship is profesional, you should see legopirate83's ship and aaron's ship. These guys have like millions of dollars i think. Their ships are perfectly color coordinated and awesome! i'm a dirt poor college student using legos i've gotten in the last twenty years of collecting. After i get my civil engineering degree, i'll be able to put out super professional mocs like them two.
  8. Hey Mister Phes, So you do make mocs! This is a nice moc! Considering the limitations you've imposed on yourself. I agree w/ suvieD about getting rid of the cannon and calling it a villa. Hey what about a servent mini-fig? That might be pushing the mini-fig count a little high, but i think the governor's mansion(err villa) should have a servent boy or girl.
  9. aren't you scalywags being a little too harsh to capt. roger. just cause he doesn't like potc doesn't mean he gets lashed a bunch of times >:-( . gosh, we shouldn't hurt the guy. we should make him governor of an island... and.. eh... provide him a pistol w/ 1 shot :-$ . That seems fitting punishment for all those dislikers of potc. i've tried making a similar crowsnest and it's not as nice and round that the one posted is. Also it don't stay togther very easily at all! the flex hose keeps slipping out of the funky clip arm thingy. Suggestions?
  10. when i started this ship i didn't have much for brown. when i had the bow and stern pretty much done, i got the sand crawler and jaba's sail barge. i didn't feel like mixing the reddish-brown with classic grays too much cause i wanted as little of the bley and reddish-brown as possible with this frigate. I think i'll use dark bley and reddish-brown only with my bomb ketch (that i'm plan on building right after this one is done). Besides, i like to think of my pirates here having some class and elegance X-D . They're proud of there awesome vessel and take good care of it (by orders of the captain). Then it looks more like an imperial ship to fool and more easily take over those small merchant vessels. Rather than chase everything that they get near.
  11. yes that's a space vehicle wheel :-$ . the whole ship roles on these to make it easier to move on the floor. I've used about 12-15 of them, i don't remember off hand. but it works out very well with a ship this size.
  12. I didn't think it's been out for that long; it came out about a month ago or somethin. the part # is G574 and it's called the LEGO Tic-Tac-Toe and its $19.99 here in the US.
  13. Mister Phes why haven't you built any serious mocs? Is that legal? Be admin of this forum and not make any mocs (j/k)? X-D Hey brickster, can your boat shop fix frigates? My frigate is in need of serious repairs. :-P I like both MOCs. Simple and kewl looking; I'm all for simple kewl looking MOCs. Nice crane on the first pics. Never thought of using blue on buildings before. It actually don't look that bad at all.
  14. Thanx guys. Edit: I'll go take a look. Thanx.
  15. *Phred gets a high five from ZCerberus* no problem.
  16. Yeah i guess. That'd be really difficult. you'd have ta use click hinges some how and lots of brown angeled plates. some of the long houses were flat on the fronts and backs though. i'm too busy building my frigate to attempt that right now. also, i don't have any native americans
  17. Sorry I didn
  18. This is the type of longhouse that most Iroquois nations lived in. Hey you try building some of these if ya wanna. However, much to my surprise, there were Iroquois nations that lived in teepees. :-$ See the pic below in the background. Most of the Iroquois lived in the New England States and south eastern Canada. I know the coast line in Connecticut and Maine can be very hilly right at the shore. So I guess you could have those teepees right next to the mountains and coastline. Just gotta get rid of the jungle theme going on (if you want to be historically correct 8-| ).
  19. Hey Bonaparte. If we find a ship on BL, Lug, or MOCpages, we can just post a thread on it? I agree with the Admiral, also the stern castle is too big. It seems to be more of an older Galleon type of ship. It
  20. hey simonwillems, that's a nice settlement area. do you know what part of american coastline this moc is at? Edit: That scene might work if it were set along the Georgia coast or along the northern gulf coast of Florida. It definetly can't be further North than the Carolinas cause that's where the Iroquois were. I might work along the Texas and Louisiana Coasts but I know that Louisiana is extremely swampy and flat (with those mountain pieces and all). (Hmm. I wonder if I'm caring too much and simon just decided to throw some stuff together and see what happens. 8-| )
  21. Mr. Tiber that Red Peril of yours looks good. I love the sail configuration. It looks a lot diff. from the standard sqr rigging and still looks authentic. You should edit that post and post pics or somethin.
  22. My brother and I have been discussing what the calibers of different cannons should be and this is what we
  23. Do you want the capstan to wind up the anchor above deck or below deck. I'm not certain, but i don't think that Mr. Tiber used a palmtree base but used a piece typically used for a helicopter (a plate with a technic pin pointing straight up).
  24. i know i know i'm not very observant. And i have a short memory i've looked at that ship so many times and never looked at the name of the perosn that built it then he thanks me for posting that his ship is like the best thing since sliced bread and i forget. Now i know who aaron is, and there aren't a million aarons out there. Just one and he's great at making mocs! :-D Sorry bout that aaron. Past couple weeks my mind's been all over the place with professors craming us with homework, quizes and exams before the semester ends.
  25. The spy glass is just a light bley lightsaber handle and a 1x1 round light bley brick. Topped off with a 1x1 round clear plate. I didn't know there are differences, please explain. EDIT FOR MR TIBER: here's the pic you requested right after this post. (sorry it's blurry)
