  1. Xbox 360 here. I like that the corded controllers can also be used on PC's (so i've been told :-/ ) for the FPS and RPG games on PC. Then all the Xbox games i have right now, work on the 360 *y* Also, being a halo freak, it has halo 3 *wub* PS3 i've played on, but i'm not going to spend money on a PS3 when i can get an alright desktop for the same price :-P Never played the Wii, but none of the games look interesting to me right now (at all) P
  2. Wow Vader! Those two look very good *y* Spectacular job on these, very fine quality. Are you going to continue making more from Davey's crew and other from POTC? P
  3. Thanx Z *y* also Mr. Phes, here's a clearer (not much clearer) pic of me (err my captain) P
  4. I was going to my BS account when i saw this new folder that had been moderated. It appears like legopirate is getting really far on his HUGE ship. Here's the brickself folder
  5. the old stern was a lot taller than the current one. BTW: i finally borrowed a scale from me bro. The frigate has a mass of 9.4kg and weighs 21.21lb. P
  6. Yeah, i'm almost 1.9 meters (6'2") tall too X-D the ISD is .97 m (38in) long. P Edit: Anywayz, Here's a new pic of me shutting ppl's cable tv off in Louisiana:
  7. Hey I'll go ask my chemistry professor tomorrow about this stuff, he should know. :-D
  8. It's too bad he doesn't have any more ships on there than he does. Those are some really good CAD model though *y* Thanx Z, It actually is just a tiny bit longer :-$ W/out the bowsprit, it's 147 studs long, before it was around 143-144 I know you are correct. I think it looks ok, but not as good as it could. I've already started on the rigging and i really don't feel like moving the masts. X-D Besides, i've gotta get this done so i can start on the USS Constitution for the summer (that's my goal anywayz :-$ ) P
  9. It does seem a tad too blue. :-/ I might mix in some of the "corroded colors" so it looks a little corroded; I'm not sure yet though. Exercise? I didn't know this was an exercise 8-| Thanx Z, I may have to get some of those bricks from BL soon. Right now my thoughts are to have mostly tan to represent uncorroded copper and work in some of this sand green (or maybe regular green or a gray) to show corrosion. I have a descant amount of tan, lots of gray, and bleys, and a little green. A little side note for those of you who haven't read the wiki article: Before 1769, most sheathing was done with lead. So it's really easy to get that color, dark gray and dark bley.
  10. Hi I'm Phred and i'm not a legoholic. I can quit any time i want. I just don't want to [ever... (never, ever, ever!!)]. I'm not drowning in lego, i'm swimming happily in lego X-D I don't even have room to set up my UCS ISD and i still get more and more bricks. BTW, What's a flat?!? P THanx Hobbes X-D
  11. Mr. Tiber, You don't look like hitler, you're missing the mustache :-D Anywayz, here's a pic of me with my ISD: P
  12. Hmm dunno what's wrong with it exactly, i know the quality isn't that good. Here's the other pic from that website: Tan eh Commodore? That actually sounds like a great idea *y* Thanx, P
  13. In the future, i'd like to have my MOCs to have the decks below the waterline. This entails having the exterior a copper-alloy color out of lego bricks for MOCs based off of newer sailing ships :S . First off for referance, here's the wiki article on Copper Sheathing. Also, here's a pic link on the copper sheathing of the USS Constitution: Right now my i consider my two main contestants, Orange and dark bley. Main problem with orange is that there may not enough bricks availible needed for a ship the size of my frigate on Bricklink. (don't want to spend an outrageous amount per brick :'-( ) Main problem with dark bley is that is doesn't look like copper :-|| , but it may look like the corroded copper plating. (don't know for sure though.) Recomendations and thoughts welcomed. P
  14. Phred's wishlist: Some castle sets *knight* (Probably lots of the cheaper ones) One more clone troopers pack A whole ton of bricks from BrickLink so i can start construction on my USS Constitution *pirate* I think that's about it. :-) The last one will deifinitely empty my wallet. P
  15. Ahhh... But I can... That's awesome :-D I hope B won't mind at all. P
  16. I find nothing wrong at all with the design of the structure; it looks very good. It's just the scale of the structure on top. It's doorway is too small, is all. Unless i'm mistaken, aren't the priests supposed to go into the top structure. Never saw Apocalypto. Kind of sux that it's not very accurate though 8-| P
  17. Hmm lets see. Here's the BSB: Here's the Hotspur: and here's the expedition: Yeah i guess there is a resemblance :-D Nice ship so far bro *y* I love the BSB *wub* so i really like ships that're based off of them too :) Can't wait to check it out at your house and have a closer look. I think you used Z's method of extending your mast on the main mast. With less cargo on the gun deck, i guess one could easily consider there being another deck below the waterline and gun deck :-$ Just a not about the glare: If you don't have the camera pointed perpindicular to the large fish tank, but at more of an angle, there won't be any glare :) P
  18. I like the two facial statues in the front, very unique and kool looking. The pyramid is flippin sweet, dunno about the structure on top though, the doorway in is only 3 bricks high. Only an ewok or jawa would be able to fit in there. P
  19. This is a nice idea Mr. P and B *y* I'm assuming this isn't going to be pinned right now until maybe the restructuring occures? P
  20. Maybe just move the portion that you've just replaced to the other side :) Oh i see, it looks a lot better now with the large roof in the back where it connects to the harbor. I think he was talking about all of your fort is his favorite part X-D P
  21. No problem Mr. Phes, You're one busy person. This anchor mechanism actually does work by raising the anchor when the ship is put together :) It was very difficult to still have room under there for a cannon, and to keep it stable. :S I don't think i'll be able to add another deck. Not because i think you are incorrect, i just don't have the bricks and i can't afford another BL order right now :-$ I have very, very few bricks left needed to have a poop deck; i have barely enough to finish the exterior. By the looks of your pics, this ship would probably look a little better with a poop deck(i also am almost certain that's what it is X-D ). If i did have the bricks, i would have probably raised the cabin and make one. Thanx for the suggestion though. BTW, where are those pics from? Thanx B, Haven't decided how to have the cannons on the top deck yet. It's made to have 44 guns and some carronades; when the pirates take it over, they're going to put ten more long guns and have 16 carronades X-D. For the pirates, the broadside is going to have 27 long guns and 7 carronades. P
  22. Here's a quick little image first of all so ppl know which raft is being talked about: 5/5 here I have this set and i like it a lot. It's got 6 barrels, shorter brown rope pieces (not too common on a set this small), that awesome sail *y* , a treasure (never can have too much treasure X-D ), and 3 figs. Almost all the pieces are easily usable for adding to MOC ships. P
  23. There that should help Mr. P I added some stuff in brackets to try to elaborate on your question. P
  24. Thanx for the info Aaron *y* Here's a couple of current pics of the frigate: I raised the stern walls a brick for better protection of the guys steering and navigating. I've got a lot of the holes around the stern pretty much done and it's now ready to get some rigging and sails *sweet* Here's some deeplink thumbs: (They're a lot bigger than ones above and didn't look right when i tried to resize them :S ) * * P
