Does anyone know where to download this program? The link on the first page hasn't been working for a while now. -
The Spider Droid does feel like a pretty pointless release. We already had one not long ago and this version is identical aside from the stud shooter. They could have at least included some new Jedi, tweaked Stass Allie into Adi Gallia or updated some of the Clone Wars ones without the anime faces. If they just wanted to get Yoda back in stores, a better option might have been to go with something based on Dagobah, the Senate Duel or even another Kashyyyk set. On another topic I think the chances of Ahsoka coming with the new A-Wing just went up with the latest episode of Star Wars Rebels. Hopefully with the two new Inquisitors. I believe those companies still had to go through Hasbro first before getting the green light to release their own figures. And as long as it doesn't directly compete with their own company, they'll allow it. Sideshow and Hot Toys for example usually just release a single $200+ figure every 3-4 months, so it has no effect on what Hasbro sells at retail. The odd promotional minifigure is also fine. However if Lego were to release a wave of 16 Star Wars figures at retail, it would be seen as direct competition with Hasbro as thats exactly the type of product they sell in stores.

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

Love that Captain Marvel comes with two alternate heads. I'd like to see it happen with more superheroes. -
Don't forget 2008 was also a different time when TCW was the only major release keeping Star Wars in the public eye. Next year Lego has to balance The Force Awakens, Rebels and Rogue One while preparing for Episode 8 and still pleasing fans of the Original and Prequel Trilogies. Its a little more crowded then it was back then.

Don't forget about Leia. Not only is her Bespin minifigure from the last Cloud City set seriously outdated, but the Bespin Escape version also remains the only version of Leia from the classic trilogy that hasn't been made as a minifigure yet. It would be great if both figures could be included just like we got both Boussh and Slave Leia in the Jabba themed sets.

I'm pretty sure its just landing gear to help balance the front of the ship. Both sides feature it on its underside, and the above view of the ship shows an ordinary tile in the droid socket with no eject functions.

Maybe not as part of the main line of sets, but I can see them continuing them as retailer exclusives to Toys R Us.

Looks like the same head for Major Derlin from the Battle of Hoth video on Lego's website.

The open wall on the right side of the set is for the elevator. The technic pieces on the top corner is supposed to be the locking mechanism for it. If the Carbon Chamber is designed to be combined with a future set, the connection point would have to be on the left wall with the control panel on top. Unfortunately its impossible to tell at this angle of the picture. The only other alternative is if a future Cloud City set came with the second half of the Carbon Chamber so it forms a complete circle, but that doesn't seem too likely to happen.

The interior for the escape pod is the best one yet. Really like the engine details and the way the set opens up too. Shame the front of the pod is a bit on the blocky side. The Death Star plans are a nice touch. Not too fond of the redesigned droid socket on the Jedi Interceptor. It doesn't look right with R4's body half sticking out. The last two versions of the Interceptor did a better job at this. Still unsure on the Hoth Attack set. The new Probe Droid looks great, but there's a strong possibility everything else is already included in Echo Base. Wish we could get a look at some different angles of the Carbon Freeze Chamber to see if its modular or not. I'm still holding out hope Lego will further expand upon it in the Summer wave. The Ugnaught looks amazing close up. I also like that the Rodian has new face printing in the Rebels battlepack. Helps add a bit more diversity among the other Rodian characters.

Both sets look fantastic! I'm really impressed at how good the castle looks in particular. They captured the look of the entrance perfectly. Nice to see Kylo Ren comes with a proper face this time, and I also like how consistant older Leia's face print is with her younger self from the Shuttle Tyderium. I know not everyone was happy with the colours of her costume, but I think it looks fine compared to what was shown in the trailer. Shame there's still no TFA Luke Skywalker minifigure. Fingers crossed he'll show up as a May the Fourth promo figure later in the year.

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

I'm not too bothered by it. While Peggy has the bigger role of the two in the MCU, Sharon is the more important character in the comics. Just like Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy - both characters have their own appeal and as long as we eventually see both characters released I don't really mind which order we get them in. -

Sadly? The more female heroes the better! Especially ones that have never had a figure before. -
Shame the minifigures are just repeats. I still think they should've given Palpatine a different costume for the books (either a Senate Duel version where he fought Yoda or the red robes where he declared the beginning of the Empire) and left his classic costume for the Death Star/Final Duel sets. Don't forget the Jawas and Ugnaughts too. We're really getting spoiled with all different the aliens in affordable sets next year.

I absolutely adore the new Wonder Woman minifigure. One of the best movie adapted costumes perfectly transformed into Lego form! I shudder to think how much she is going to go for on the aftermarket.

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
wesker replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
I hope we get both as well along with Vision, although I'd understand if not everyone is included with the limited number of sets. At least none of the female characters are being held back (although fingers crossed they aren't all stuck with the Elsa hair again!) -
The crates are my favourite part of the Kanan set. Very well designed and will be very useful for Imperial displays. Not as keen on the oversized speederbike or the forgetable minifigures though. Looking forward to the Rebels battlepack. Its always good to get more aliens for a cheap price. Not as keen on the Imperial set though. Its disapointing to see the Stormtroopers are still using the black crotch piece as it makes the minifigures look dated in comparison to the First Order troopers in TFA sets. Also not a big fan of the Shock Trooper. Rainbow Clone Troopers are one thing, but I prefer the Imperials to remain without the colourful paint jobs.

Has there been any word on what the actual build of the set is going to be? While more Stormtroopers are always welcome, I would hope a set based off Maz's Castle would contain some of the more bizarre characters that populate it like Crimson Corsair and Bazine. The crazy residents was a big part of what made settings like Jabba's Palace and the Cantina so appealling.

Favorite/Least favorite/most wanted licensed minifigure?
wesker replied to Zoshi's topic in LEGO Licensed
For me it depends on the character and how they're designed. I think the cheekbones were pretty well done on Storm, Han Solo and Star-Lord. They work well on older characters like Ben Kenobi too. But I don't like them when they're given to characters unneccessarily (like Black Widow and Lois Lane) or are overly long that they stretch across the entire face like the Elves in LOTR.- 25 replies

I still hope Hoth Echo Base will be a bit more substantial than whats shown in the video on Lego's website.

Finn's headsculpt is surprisingly good. It actually resembles the actor, unlike Luke's which looked too much like a Ken doll. Captain Phasma and the Stormtrooper are the standouts of the new wave and Kylo Ren looks pretty good too. Rey's figure looks decent. Nothing too special, but I'm glad we're getting female characters in the line. Poe's figure is definitely the weakest of the lot. It was first mentioned on Page 6 by CM4Sci. He's been a reliable source in the past so I'm guessing the only reason we haven't seen pictures yet is because its a retailer exclusive. I'm hoping the set will at least provide a couple of missing characters like Shmi, C-3PO and Mawhonic. An updated Padme and Pit Droid would be welcome too.

I love the idea of a dirty R2-D2. Dagobah is definitely long overdue for another set. It would be pretty cool if it also included a force ghost Obi-Wan. I also hope if we do get more Cloud City sets they include both versions of Leia. The Bespin minifigure is horribly outdated, but the Bespin Escape version is the last of Leia's Classic Trilogy costumes that hasn't been represented in Lego yet (Medical Frigate is already available through Classic Leia)

Favorite/Least favorite/most wanted licensed minifigure?
wesker replied to Zoshi's topic in LEGO Licensed
Its hard to pick a favourite when there's so many great ones, but least favourite definitely goes to the Clone Wars minifigures in large part due to the anime faces. Anakin, Padme, Barriss and Palpatine were among the worst. As for my most wanted: - Faramir, Sauron, Witch-King and especially Eowyn from Lord of the Rings - Anything X-Men, especially if its based on the 90s cartoon/Jim Lee costumes - Missing prominant characters from the Star Wars movies (Bail, Shmi, Boss Nass, Beru, Mas Amedda, Garindan, Typho, Dex, Kaminoans, Rune Haako etc) - Remaining costumes/variants for Luke, Leia and C-3PO (plus any of Padme/Queen Amidala) - Mother Talzin, Duchess Satine, Bo-Katan, Nightsisters, Adi Gallia and ARC Trooper versions of Echo and Fives from Clone Wars - Non-anime updates of the Clone Wars Jedi and Aurra Sing - Remaining "yellow" Star Wars minifigures updated to flesh skin colour - More aliens from the Mos Eisley Cantina, Jabba's Palace and Boonta Eve Podrace - Batman Returns and New 52 Catwoman- 25 replies

It would be nice to finally get one of Padme's starships, although my first choice would actually be the original Royal Starship from Episode 1. Something similar to the most recent Sith Infiltrator with a little bit more interior room would be perfect. Plus it would be even better if it came with both Queen Amidala (in the black gown) and Padme (in the orange handmaiden gown)

I mainly just want more Lord of the Rings packs with Eowyn, Faramir, Witch-King and Sauron.
