  1. Hopefully Two-Face in a better coloured suit and a new Catwoman. Assuming we get a large number of sets like the Lego Movie I also hope we get a few civillian characters as well like Lucius Fox, Vicki Vale and comic-based versions of Gordan and Alfred. Plus lots of outlandish Batman suits.
  2. Narcissa Malfoy's (from the Harry Potter sets) head is anothor good alternative for the face. I don't think I'd worry changing Mon Mothma's hairpiece though. The one she has now is good enough.
  3. The heads are Captain Panaka from Star Wars and the Temple Guard from Indiana Jones. I actually recommend checking out this topic since it has some great purist LOTR/Hobbit customs using only existing Lego parts: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=104200 Has anyone tried extracting the textures for the character models in the Lego LOTR/Hobbit games? I'd imagine they would also provide a good source for customs here.
  4. I thought the older face looked too plain and boyish. Cheekbones don't look good on all minifigures but I think in Han's case its definitely an improvement and adds a bit more character. Luke on the otherhand is much better without them.
  5. Not surprising considering the set wasn't even released at retail in Australia. The only way anyone here could purchase it was through online only.
  6. Hopefully we get some sets from the old movies. Even though the original sets still hold up well it would be nice to get the characters that were missing the first time around like Sallah and Toht. The female characters could also use some much better face prints since the original minifigures were a bit too drag queen-ish.
  7. The Final Duel set will probably be discontinued by the time the Death Star comes out. And even if its not, they didn't leave the trench out of the UCS Echo Base set despite it already being included in the smaller Hoth Attack set so I don't see why they'd leave out the throne room. I think the new Death Star will probably end up being similar to the new Winter Village Toy Shop - the minifigures all updated, some new pieces and building techniques here and there - but the set as a whole roughly the same as the previous release.
  8. But Poe Dameron and Boba Fett are smiling too so I'm not sure how using their heads would be an improvement over Starlord's.
  9. Spotted the Deadshot/Harley Quinn set at both Kmart and Myer, plus the Crossbones and Black Panther CW sets at Toys R Us. No sign of the Airport set yet.
  10. I'm not too worried about the printing. The previous Hoth Leia was already near perfect. Aside from leg printing and using the 2015 face there's nothing else they can really do to improve her.
  11. I'm kind of impartial on the figure. Its nice to be able to get another character to fill out the Jakku scene, but as a minifigure he looks kind of bland and probably should've been included in the Encounter on Jakku set instead of being a promotional figure.
  12. I'd be up for Bail. He's long overdue for a Lego figure. Any prequel character would be good since we'll be seeing a lot less of that era moving forward.
  13. As much as I'd like to see those minifigures, I prefer they were saved for an actual Dagobah/Cloud City set. I think promotional minifigures are best suited to characters or costume variants that are unlikely to appear in a set later. Hoth Leia wouldn't be my ideal choice but I'd be happy to see one of her other costumes like the one on the 1977 Star Wars poster or her blue farewell gown at the end of TFA. Maybe split up her two Bespin costumes so one could be included in a Cloud City set and the other in a polybag? Even a Rebels version would be nice.
  14. Unfortunately that doesn't seem the case. The Carbon Chamber doesn't have any modular connection points and there's no other Bespin-themed sets coming in the Summer wave. The third 2016 wave will be all Rogue One and the next two UCS sets are the Death Star and Snowspeeder.
  15. The rebel head (Major Derlin) is new. It was designed for this set but the delay resulted in it appearing in the Resistance Battlepack first.
  16. The interior of the base is definitely modular. Should be pretty easy to add new rooms connecting to the main gate.
  17. I don't think the Hoth Attack set is intended to be attached. Neither the trench or power generators have any connection points to allow expansions while the main gate uses a different kind of clip to attach the ion cannon and third turret. Would be nice to get another set with Leia to expand the interior though.
  18. If there's any truth to the Rogue One rumour regarding
  19. Those action figures look awesome. Hopefully the bad blood between Fox and Marvel has died down and we'll start getting more X-Men sets again in the near future.
  20. Who's complaining about Toryn Farr? Yeah some of us are disapointed Leia is excluded considering she's the main heroine of the movie, but that's not at the expense of Toryn. At the price they're charging the set for there's no reason why both women couldn't be included. If any minifigure had to be switched out for Leia, I would've gone with either one of the Rebel Troopers or Han considering they're both already available in another Hoth themed set thats just recently been released.
  21. Shame so many of the minifigures are placeholders. Dengar and the Fifth Brother look pretty cool though and I'm glad to see Vader is in his ANH/Rebels costume. Tarkin's new face is a nice improvement but I'm still not fond of the hair/uniform colour, although I'm sure we'll be seeing a more movie accurate version in the Death Star later this year.
  22. Awesome work. I've always been disapointed Lego didn't come out with something like this themselves, especially after all the siege weapons we were getting in the Fantasy Era sets. I think you should definitely consider putting Grond and that Siege Tower up on Ideas.
  23. Awesome work! The amount of detail you've put into it is astounding! Definitely the best Edoras I've seen yet.
  24. I've said it before and I'll say it again - where's Leia? There's really no excuse for the main heroine to be left out here. That aside what really sells this set for me is the modular design which is something the previous Hoth sets lacked. Being able to combine all the small pieces together to create one big display piece makes the set feel a lot more substantial than originally thought. The Wampa Cave looks so much better being intergrated into the base than as a stand alone piece. I'm still not entirely happy about the lack of a medical bay and the small control room, but at least the set allows room for expansions in the future along with easy customization.
