  1. Nice to finally have a figure of Bruce. Civillian variants of superheroes are always welcome. The new Thor looks pretty good, especially with the new helmet piece. I think I prefer Loki's previous costume more since the grey/green look suits him better than the bright orange/dark blue. Glad he finally has his own face print though. Hopefully the alternate face print has his classic evil cheesy grin. Hela is my favourite of the lot and I'm glad they included her headdress in the set. The mold for it is fantastic!
  2. The B-Wing prototype definitely would've been preferable over the Arrowhead. There's no way I can bring myself to spend that much money on a set thats not even a real Star Wars ship. Its like a random MOC that happened to get released as a Lego product.
  3. We're getting Quarrie in the Arrowhead (largest Freemaker set)
  4. The tank is supposed to be small. The scale of the new one is a lot more accurate to the Battlefront games than the previous set was.
  5. I can't imagine they'll leave out Poe considering he's featured at the top of the actual toy packaging. Glad to hear we're getting both Snoke and the Knights of Ren and I can't wait to see how the new Luke looks. Question for ForceGhostSolo - can you please describe what the new Finn and Leia minifigures look like?
  6. I second this. It would be greatly appreciated to have a rundown of what sets we can expect to see, as well as descriptions of how the new Luke/Leia/Rey/Kylo/Finn/Poe figures look. Another thing I'm also interested about is whether we'll be seeing the Resistance personel in the new wave. Since the Resistance Officer in the Advent Calender is clearly Major Brance, I wonder if we'll also get the other characters like Major Ematt, Admiral Stratura, Lieutenant Connix etc. in the Episode 8 sets.
  7. But she is completely new. Her skin colour has changed, the torso print has been redesigned and she even has leg printing this time. What more do you want?
  8. Not just any Mon Calamari - its Quarrie from Star Wars Rebels!
  9. He's recently appeared in Rebels and rumoured to be showing up in future Anthologies so I wouldn't rule it out.
  10. The Azure Angel was also available here in K-Mart a few years ago as their exclusive.
  11. The Lego Batman movie sets have actually hit retail in Australia. I spotted them in K-Mart earlier today. We'll probably have to wait longer for the Star Wars Summer wave though. The past couple years they didn't appear in stores until around August while the rest of the world got them around May/June.
  12. Lego Batman Movie sets are now available at K-Mart. Haven't checked if they're out in any other stores yet.
  13. Hopefully the rumour of a third UCS set turns out to be true. Despite the disapointment of Hoth, I do enjoy the location based playsets both for offering new settings we wouldn't normally get in the standard releases as well as the large number of characters that are included.
  14. You're definitely not alone there. I'd love to get a lot more TPM figures too. Any Queen Amidala would be welcome by me. The Theed Battle costume is long overdue while a Royal Starship set could include both Amidala in the black gown and Padme in the orange handmaiden outfit. The Celebration gown would make a nice promotional figure and the Senate gown would be my top choice if there was ever a Star Wars CMF line. On top of that we definitely need the rest of the major players from the movie that haven't been released yet - Shmi Skywalker, Boss Nass, Rune Haako, Chancellor Valorum and TPM variants of C-3PO and Nute Gunray. The Naboo Royal Guard would nicely finish off the Naboo Security Forces and I'd love to see more of the Tatooine locals show up someday like Teemto, Mawhonic, Fode & Beed, the Gella sisters and Kitster.
  15. The Guavians look awesome! Lego really did an excellent job with their head pieces. Aayla's new skin tone looks great as well. The older figure worked well for the Clone Wars version but the darker on the new figure is much more accurate to the movie portrayal. Shame the Clone is just a Phase II Gunner since I would have liked to have gotten Bly, but it still looks like a pretty nice figure. Regarding the black droid I'm pretty sure its intended to be the DD-13 Medical Droid seen facing Anakin's feet during the transformation scene. The legs are innaccurate since its on a tripod in the movies but the way the head is designed and yellow urn on the chest makes that droid the closest match.
  16. I'd throw in Lady Shiva as well.
  17. Shame Lando turned out to be a fake. Guess we'll have to wait a little while longer for that Cloud City set.
  18. The Rathtar set looks awesome! They did a great job with the design of the playset and I have no problems with the Rathtars being brickbuilt either. Three Guavians, Bala-Tik and another chance at Old Han definitely make this set a must buy. The Scout Trooper/Speeder Bike set is also a pleasant surprise. I don't normally pick up the buildable figures but this one looks too amazing to pass up. The Quadjumper is pretty good too with plenty of detail. I hope Unkar's Brute isn't a stand in though. Bespin Lando looks fantastic and is long overdue for an update. Fingers crossed its the real deal and not a custom figure. Freemakers are an easy pass and I'm not too excited for the First Order battlepack either. The Bounty Hunters are definitely an instant purchase. I'd love to finally see a remake of the Bespin Leia figure. Its been too long since we last had her. I still stand by that any future Cloud City set should include both her costumes though - the red gown and the white jumpsuit.
  19. Thats why I said 1-2 minifigures instead of just 2.
  20. I wouldn't say people are freaking out over it, but all previous Advent Calenders have included 1-2 brand new minifigures - not just Yoda/Maul/Jango/C-3PO/Vader in Santa Suits but also the Snowman R2, Christmas Tree Astromech, White Chewie, Silver Protocol Droid and Young Boba Fett. While its too early to tell whether BB-8 and the Resistance Officer/Major Brance will have new printing or not, the set will naturally be disapointing if it breaks the trend and ends up only including recycled minifigures. It also comes down to personal preference on who the recycled minifigures are. For me its great to have the new Imperial Officer available at an affordable price, but I don't really have any need for another Unkar's Thug or more FO Snowtroopers. Even the FO Stormtrooper isn't that appealling knowing its also coming in a Battlepack the same wave and likely the Episode 8 sets too. Previous calenders have included minifigures that are of better use for my collection such as the Ewok, Jawa, Hoth Trooper, Geonosian, Bespin Guard, Astromechs etc but again each individual fan is different and it all boils down to personal taste and what they collect.
  21. This Resistance Officer definitely looks like he's intended to be Major Brance. The hairpiece is a bit of a giveaway. We haven't gotten a torso print based off this particular uniform either which Poe Dameron and Major Ematt also wear in TFA so he would definitely be more than welcome. I'm a bit underwelmed by the rest of the Advent Calender to be honest. Getting a cheap Imperial Officer is nice but the rest of the minifigures are fairly boring and I'm disapointed we're not getting a proper Christmas figure this year.
  22. Despite the smaller scale its pretty cool how the cockpit of the new Milano can still fit four minifigures. I'm undecided if I'll get it though. I own the last one and do like that one more, but Rocket did pilot a smaller Milano-ish ship in the last movie and this would actually be a pretty good stand-in for that version. The Ravager set isn't too bad. A little basic in design but the minifigures look pretty good. Really love the smooth sleek build of the yellow mining ship though. Can't wait to pick that up and its great to finally have Yondu. His face print really fits the character.
  23. The one thing that hurts my eyes more than the set itself is anytime someone calls it "Insult on Hoth". Seriously big forum pet peeve here. I cringe everytime I see it.
  24. The new Milano will be an easy pass but I'm looking forward to picking up the two cheaper sets.
  25. It might be best to check with the mods first. They might feel the "Most Wanted Star Wars Characters" topic is enough although that thread has been running since 2008 and has gotten pretty cluttered at this point. Ideally they could just lock the old threads and start fresh with a new poll. Here's a rundown of unreleased characters for each film and the two TV series. Most aren't likely to be released but again the whole purpose is to see which characters the fan community wants the most. It would definitely be an interesting survey.
