  1. Important note: Please avoid to add entries to an existing post: in the better case I could miss the addition and the index will be not updated, in the worst that force me to check again all the models because I don't remember which ones I've already updated. @PeabodySam @Stephan Could you provide me a zippack with the updated models?
  2. To say the true, there is a way. Take a look at the Section Index (one of the two pinned topics in this section), probably the case is linked in the last post.
  3. Please note that this topic is for LDD assembly only, not mecabricks. LDD has some flexible elements, not many to say the true, did you check if there is something usable? The main problem should be that the torso with arms is a single part in LDD, and that makes to create this assembly more complicated, if possible.
  4. Thanks! Is it possible to share a less compressed image (maybe not compressed at all)? The linked jpg is very low quality! It seems some parts are partially out of the shot, has the image been cropped?
  5. Great! Does anyone want to try an high resolution render for them?
  6. Important notice: From now on, the present LDD Version is 4.3.11, Brickset 2670. So please be careful reporting older LDD versions in the next posts. If you update already posted entries, don't forget to report the update in the proper topic. Thanks.
  7. It seems the download is not avaible yet in the LDD Download page, if I click on the download button LDD 3.4.10 is downloaded. I had to manually edit the link to get the newer version. Let's wait for a more precise changelog, I suppose that Superkalle will generate a file with the last bricks. Which is the new brickset's version?
  8. Which one exactly? I suppose this one. Unfortunately after the forum update many old attachment are gone (all these formats that are now unsupported). But it seems this time you are lucky: I found it in my lxf archive: click. Hope it opens correctly in new versions of LDD.
  9. As explained above, the building instructions are not affected by building order. Luckily there are some alternative solution. The easier is to use an external tool to generate instructions, such as blueprint. Otherwise it is possible to exploit groups to "drive" LLD's BI functions, but it is not so immediate, because you have to transform the "groups" code and place it in the "BuildingInstructions" area of the lxfml file. Open and save again the lxf file will destroy the BuildingInstructions area. Another solution could be convert the LDD file in a LDRAW file (there are many way to do that) and use some BI tool for such format (LPub3D for example). Take a look at the Section Index (one of the two the pinned topics of this section) for more details.
  10. Hi, and welcome in Eurobricks. I'm not sure what you mean with "change building order". As far as I know, there is not a building order in LDD when you save the file, while could speak about a sort of "order" during the building stage (and you can go back/ahead using undo/redo arrows). But, above all, I can't understand how do you think to exploit this order and what exactly is messed up and in which stage of your use of LDD.
  11. Index updated with informations reported until here.
  12. Index updated. 34 Sets has been added to the index (0 alternative, 1 duplicate, 0 incomplete). Check your sets and report errors or inaccuracies in the index, if any! 3 Sets has not been added to the index because Irregular. Fix your sets in order to be added to the index! 3 new (Sub)Themes added Topic's Rules Update. No updates this time, but don't forget to take a look at the summary to avoid to forget them. 13. That's reasonable. Did you ever thought about occasionally allow access to more advanced settings (especially higher resolutions) to free users according with some conditions, for example in low-traffic days/hours only (weekend, night hours), being last in queue (after all paying users) and/or using a slow time-based points system, where a free user accumulates points using mecabrics online editor to access some premium feature (this could help to promote mecabrics editor).
  14. This step seems to be... redundant! Why build the model two times?
  15. That is not a problem if your monitor have more than a single input port. You can connect both the video cards to the monitor and then switch the input port using the dedicated button (or the osd, if the button is missing). Considering that Win10 is able to run more video card drivers simultaneously, that could be feasible. The problem remains to specify that the software have to use a specific video card. I never tried that, I'm speculating only.
  16. As KMPMOCS replaced his old laptop, I supposed that the new PC was a laptop too. My bad. Maybe it is possible to create two different hardware profile, but I'm not sure Win10 allows that easily and it requires a rebook anyway. Otherwise you can set the video card from the bios (if allowed), but obviously it requires a reboot too. @KMPMOCS mmm... a doubt now. The Nvidia control panel (in "3D Settings" area) allows to add a software and set for it specific graphic settings. There you could associate the software with the desired graphic adapter (example image: click). As you can see the image is similar to the one you reported above, try adding the software and check if the desired options appears.
  17. He means the small icon on your trybar, (usually) placed on the bottom-right corner of your desktop (example image). If the voice "Run with graphics processor" is not available, check if it is flagged on the Nvidia Control Panel (example image). Note that it could be "hidden" and accessible through small triangle on the left of the trybar (example image). PS: avoid to use sms-like writing. As this is a site for adults, it is expected to write in the correct manner.
  18. @KMPMOCS Did you try to temporarily exclude the Nvidia video card and use the integrated (supposedly Intel) card only? The integrated card should be enough to run LDD. Your notebook should already be able to switch between the integrated and the dedicated video card, according to the power configuration. So you should be able to manually select one card or another.
  19. What do you mean exactly? The info is written in the file, and remains there unless you save the file once that it is opened with LDD and the brick(s) removed. Anyway this argument has been discussed many time in the past, did you try to searching for "UnplaceableBricksDump" inside this forum?
  20. I can add that you can use groups to hide sets of bricks selectively. So you can select the bricks you desire and create one or more groups from them. The only problem is that, if you build already uses groups, these transversal groups disrupt your initial grouping.
  21. I usually use the hairdryer to heat parts and adjust them, but in this case the gap is millimetric, I don't think that a manual bending could be precise enough.
  22. Thanks for the answers! @AmperZand You mean I've to "kragle" my legos? To say the true, I was looking for a way to "renew" the part without adding any density/layer. Maybe a solution similar to the round clip for minifigure hands that suits the "C" clips. Obviously I could buy the loose part, but I like to preserve original parts of a set when possible.
  23. In the last period I've seen many "C" clips (such as this one) from my sets that lost their clutch power. So I've car doors that falls in a creator set, wing opened thanks to gravity in my micro x-wing, and so on... I'm trying to find an effective way to restore or at least improve the clutch power. For minifigure hands is almost easy, that because I can use a round 1x1 place, place it over the hand and leave it for days/weeks/months... At the end of the period the slight deformation is enough to restore a bit of clutch power. Different kettle of fish for the "C" clips, where round plate don't fit. Any idea different from using a bench vise?
  24. Did you try to use the search box? If you know a set that uses that part, you can easily get the Element ID from the bricklist of the set. Maybe you are looking for Design ID's 2736 and 14704? (taken from the bricklist accessible here). In the first page of this topic you can find many hints that could help you to find parts in LDD.
  25. Hi Cadder, indexed topics are decided and managed by the staff, let's explore the case to see if there is the space for such a topic for stud.io.
