  1. No problem! You should only fix the post as specified in the rules and find a place where upload files and images. Brickshelf is only one chance, but many users uses different solutions. For example, I use imageshack for images and a free space for lxf files.
  2. Hi and welcome in this topic! In order to upload images and lxf file the best thing is to create a brickshelf account. Attachment space provided by eurobricks forum is not adequate for this kind of use. Please read the topic's rules you can find in the firs post of this topic and take a look to other post in order to learn how to post a set here. Note that you can provide an image only if associated to an lxf file (all other images can be posted as a text link). PS: the sets you posted are official sets? In this topic only official sets are allowed!
  3. Merry Christmas you too Yes, but game engine has specific editors created so that it is possible to buy use the engine to create games using that. That's not true for LDD, that is a "close" project. However, if you read some topic above, you can find some informations on how LDD, LDD3 al least, works. Yes, but capitalization, slang and use of chat abbreviations have no language! So I think Superkalle ask you a little effort about that. Abbreviations are often difficult to understand for international users (and "old man" users too, not uncommon on this forum), for example I didn't know about "ty". PS: your engllish seems to be much better than mine! - db.lif you can find in LDD Profile directory is an archive containing files and directories. Shiroitenshi extracted these files and folders, modified that and packed that in db.7z and Definitions.7z, that was available on the forum for a while, until the staff decided that this procedure violated the EULA related to LDD, so files was removed. - No, It was made for LDD 3.1 and never updated. - I don't know, but according to Shiroitenshi, decals have to be 128x128 pixel.
  4. It is impossible if not hacking the software. Read this topic for more informations.
  5. As these sets are built with official instructions, me and Superkalle decided the Official Set Topic is the right place
  6. Thanks everybody! I hope I'll be up to this new role!
  7. I think you have understood what I mean, so I think we are nearly agree.
  8. @BrickWild The link of the legobar in your signature is wrong: you have to delete the character after ".png" if you want it appears in your signature. PS: Did you read my old private messages sent to you? If you want, I'm ever waiting for an answer!
  9. @Zblj The images!! @ADHO15 Eheh, an incomplete set is not a shame! To be complete, a set should appear "playable" and similar to the original one. I classified incomplete every set that has an important lack not replaced with a custom solution. For example I marked as incomplete sets without particular minifigs such as toy story ones. I did some exception to this "rule" only when LDD4 was going to be released, because in brief many new parts would be available and the sets upgraded. If you don't want to "mix" custom parts to official parts, you can separate that using groups.
  10. I absolutely agree with that. If you can realize a little software that does it, that's surely the best solution. Ad I think all people that wants to by from pick a brick after the built a model with LDD will tanks you for that! About sharing models, I think this is not the right place for a long discussion. But I think that things could be very different if observed from a different point of view, and we should thanks TLG for providing us a great mean to express our creativity, and not accuse it to stole our ideas.
  11. Index updated with informations reported until here.
  12. Index updated. 45 Sets has been added to the index (0 alternative, 11 duplicate, 1 incomplete). Check your sets and report errors or inaccuracies! No irregular posts this time! Check your old irregular post and fix that! Lists of previously reported irregular posts here, here, here, here and here.
  13. What's the question, exactly? As you can see in this topic, we have perhaps all Star Wars LEGO sets available in LDD. If you want, you can download the lxf file of the set you like.
  14. That's true, but Pick a Brick colour palette is extremely limited, so even with 3000 pieces, you should chance the colour dropdown menu item few times. That's what I mean. I didn't mean crap models, but simply models you can built quickly and without design efforts. Beauty is not an objective measure, so it is impossible they discard you model because it isn't at the state of the art! Eheh, I know, the question was a bit obvious! As I told before, I see LEGO as a light-hearted entertainment and a passion, so I prefer to share all my creations than jealously keep that! But is surely right that everybody do what he want with his work. However all these precaution are not useful I think: if TLG want to use your design, can simply copy parts of your creations details and upload that on DbM: so they became owner of that design.
  15. Ok, so the problem is that you should insert two codes instead a single one, so the operation become too long. mmm... I don't know if there is a database that associate brick design id and colour to "Element id" code. However you could easily order bricks by colour, so I think it is not difficult to change colour code sometime... About dismantle built, I think you can easily construct a ugly "something" in order to pass quality checks! A little curiosity: why don't give TLG rights on your model? I usually like to share my models. Do you think to sell that?
  16. Oh, I didn't know about guidelines. You could try to built something with the same pieces: I don't think they discard your built if it is not beautiful! But this solution is surely a bit long... About the list of numbers... what do you need exactly? What's the way to add pieces to pick a brick without searching pieces manually?
  17. I think you have two ways: - extract the lxf file and open the lxfml file: it is an xml file containing the list of bricks. With a good text editor you can extract the list in a minute. - dismantle your creation and then order by Design by Me. It is very simple to do: I often did that in order to create an image of the pieces I needed, an image to give to my favorite "lego pusher" But, as order bricks using pick a brick is less expensive than using design by me mode (that because there are not cost for printed box and instructions) I'm pretty sure other users already find an automatic mode to order pieces by pick a brick!
  18. Hi! Image is a little too big: you should resize it in order to don't exceed 512x512 limit.

  20. Index updated. 1 new Theme added 77 Sets has been added to the index (12 alternative, 8 duplicate, 0 incomplete). Check your sets and report errors or inaccuracies! 21. Hi, in the first topic of this thread you can find all the rules you have to follow to insert a new set. Look at the posts of other users (for example the one I've done above your) if you want an example. Remember that only officially released sets can be posted here, and should be built using instructions. About image, brickshelf sould allow deeplink, but you can use image hosting services such as imageshack if you should have any difficulties. Your link don't work because of double "http". Your gallery is not public still and then inaccessible, anyway.
  22. 6040 - Blacksmith Shop Theme: Castle > Lion Knights [Brickset] [Peeron] [BrickLink] 6040 - Blacksmith Shop [Alternate Model] (model available in the built instructions of the set) Download (LDD 4.2.5): - Direct link HERE (Main model). - Direct link HERE (Alternate model). - More on my BrickShelf Gallery HERE. - Visual Gallery HERE. - Get the ZipPacks from HERE. The zippack contains both versions. Known Inaccuracies: - clip 4085a replaced with clip 4085b - Red Horse Hitching with Hinge (4587) replaced with 2397 - Black Turntable 2x2 Plate with Hinge (251c01) replaced with turntable without hinge - I used minifig head with hollow stud (3626b) instead than old type (3626a) - Many decorations missing, replaced if possible. Comments: Another set I love.
  23. I've both 6086 and 6090, and only 6090 has brick 4216. Here it is possible to see that 6097 (dated 1997) too uses brick 4216. It is a clear example, but the set is old, and superkalle needs a recent exploit.
  24. No, it seems that piece was not used in that way, but only with portal bricks or clips.
  25. It seems to be an alignment issue. You can manually place the lattice, but LDD don't recognize the connection, so you can't slide it up. alignment.zip
