  1. Yes, it usually becomes public after a pair of days. You directlink images, but not the cad file. Did you upload to brickshelf the cad file too? Brickshelf allow both images and cad files.
  2. There was a problem with the link, I fixed it. Anyway the gallery you linked is not public yet (galleries on brickshelf are moderated), you should direct link the mpd file.
  3. Maybe it is due to my poor English but... I'm not sure I've understood. I asked you if you will provide a link to download the mpd file of your creation!
  4. Good work, it is relatively small! Do you think to share the cad file?
  5. @Instructions archiver Irregular? Maybe you mean incomplete?
  6. @hrontos The discussion where you illustrate your technique is linked in the section index. I'd like to create a unique thread speaking of various techniques to create instructions with LDD, could you create a good-simple-schematic guide for your technique?
  7. I suggest you to read the related topics that are linked in the section index.
  8. @omergalagever This entry is irregular too. Please read the suggestions I wrote you here. Besides, this time, the set's data are not adequately highlighted too. If you need further explanation or help, ask me. Please fix both of your entries.
  9. I cas suppose: "Historical" reasons: previously LDD Mode was called DBM (Design By Me) mode, and contains all the bricks that was physically available on LEGO website, so that you could make your creation with LDD and buy it directly from LEGO. When DBM was dismissed, LDD Mode took its place. Extended mode derives from Universe Mode, an hidden and advanced mode created to support the LEGO Universe game, allowing to use all the resource of LDD without limits. When LEGO Universe closes, the LDD Team leave the Extended mode to us AFOL that in the past found the Universe Mode very useful. Differentiate: LDD Mode is a more "basic" mode, more simple to manage (and then more adequate to children) that directly show a set of available bricks in specific and limited colours. Extended mode is for more advanced users, available to manage a more tricky way to build. I'm not sure that all the combinations in LDD Mode are "regular". If a user need to use the Extended Mode, you have not the need to switch to LDD Mode (if not for some unmapped decoration, but in this case you can use pre-generated decorations files you can find in the LDD Reference Topic). Anyway there is a project to create a custom palette for LDD containing all (and only) the real bricks in colours available as physical bricks. Maybe it will be made in the next future using LDD Manager.
  10. @omergalagever Thanks for your first contribution in this topic. Your entry is almost regular, there are two things to fix: - the image, it is oversized and uncropped (you should remove all blank stripes) - you should report errors and inaccuracies of the model, if any. You can read all the rules of this topic in the first post. You could find useful this guide to generate good quality screenshots.
  11. Thanks, but not ever a set including a minifigure contains the figure's name in the title. A better choice could be search the set that contains the specific figure (but I should check if there are different versions of it) or a specific part (maybe brickset is not fully complete with parts data). The I should check which sets has been made and updated by ADOHO15, search for that in the index and download that. It is feasible, but if I should do that for each update, the workload would be excessive. So I think a little help from the builder could be the better solution.
  12. Index updated with informations reported until here.
  13. Index updated. 38 Sets has been added to the index (4 alternative, 19 duplicate, 0 incomplete). 14. @ADHO15 I'm trying to maintain an updated archive of lxf files, so for each update I go and download the files. "All sets featuring Iron Man" makes this work a bit long, because at first I have to understand which sets feature Iron Man, and then search for that and download. A little help in this situation is very appreciated.
  15. @Wolfolo Perfect, thanks! I made a little modify highlighting the sets' data, not the post is regular.
  16. @bacem Welcome among Official Sets in LDD contributors. Your entry is almost regular, you should: - Resize the image, that it a bit oversized (maximum size allowed here is 512x512px, for you set I suggest to don't reach the maximum size, 320x or 384x could be a better measures) - Highlight the set's data (in bold) -> I'll do it for you this time.
  17. Great, it seems that definitively solves the question. Thanks technicmad too for asking to LDraw team.
  18. Superkalle reported this: I think in this situation we can speak about a "derivative work". Or maybe the sentence is referred to LDraw software and not to its whole ecosystem, including the 3D models? As LDraw is a "open standard for LEGO CAD programs" I thought about the second hypothesis, but maybe I was wrong.
  19. As the images are obtained using LDraw models, probably the limits about using the images for commercial activities remain valid.
  20. It depends on the quality you need. LDD allow to take transparent screenshots of the 3D scene, but the bricks are not like real ones. Similar situation for LDView for LDraw ecosystem bricks. If you want a "real life" quality, rendering is the only way, but it needs more time. You could use low quality settings for a fast render, or render more parts at a time. Transparent parts will require a lot of time, anyway to show decent results. To increase quality, you can take screenshots at hight resolution and then downsample the images to the desired size. What's your goal?
  21. @Wolfolo It is not a problem if sets are duplicates. There are many duplicates in the index, often with little differences. As you did the work, it would be better if you fix your post so that your entries can be added to the index. If you need some help, I'm here!
  22. Take a look at the section index: you will find a link to a topic named "Misplaced and Removed Bricks in LDD". There you can find some suggestions about managing your problem. A little hint: As your project is huge, you can use the "Hide Tool" of LDD to lighten the load on your computer: hidden parts don't use resources. You can use groups to better manage the various "blocks" of your model.
  23. @Wolfolo Hi, and welcome in the Official LEGO Set made with LDD topic. I'm glad that you decide to contribute, but your post need to be fixed, as it is not regular. You can read all the rules of the topic in the first page. Read carefully. You can follow the example of some other regular post too, for example look at this one. If something is not clear, ask me (in private, as soon as you reach 10 message and your PM will be enabled). Main problem of your entry: you have to highlight set's data, specifying (if any) the alternate model you are referring to (A-Model, B-Model, etc..) you should report as "duplicate" you entries that already appears in the index or in the not yet indexed pages. you should show one image for each set (every alternate set is considered as a distinct set) remember to choose an adequate size for the images, according to the rules images have to be cropped (remove blank boundaries)
