Bike Helmets in the Shape of Lego Hair Molds
-zenn replied to Forresto's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Depends on the kid... Most of them want a 'cool' looking helmet, so it kinda depends on if they think 'lego hair helmet' is cool. Also depends on the country, in mine a helmet isn't mandatory, only with motorcycles/scooters/mopeds. Plus I wouldn't want to give my kid a helmet like that, I'd rather give them a 'skate' helmet instead. -
Lego World 2016 @ Jaarbeurs Utrecht, The Netherlands. Date: Tuesday 18th of October - Monday the 24th of October. Time: 10.00 - 17.00 each day More info/tickets @ legoworld.nl So, anyone going? I went a couple of times when it was held in Zwolle. Pretty neat to talk/hang out with some fellow AFOL's in person.

Wheels -Sprockets that goes with Lego Treads?
-zenn replied to Milan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think you just have to try out some different combo's and see which ones are suited best for your project to move. Maybe some brickbuild wheels or wheels with tires will even do the trick. Nice work on the threads of your 'Rapid Tracked Vehicle' btw. -
Well, I do the stuff mentioned above. I also tend to use pieces which aren't scratched and discolored. Scratchwise you have to tilt a piece in the right light to even notice it sometimes...

Just an interesting webfind; Brixo Looks pretty neat, although I wonder if you touch the bricks while current is running through you'll get shocked?

Star Trek: Beyond Loved it, but I thought the ending was kinda weak and too fast. They could've made the movie longer if it was up to me.

On topic; love the vignette, just instantly recognisable! Such atmosphere! Great work on the figs; ripley & xenomorph, you could always remove the purple belt with some Brasso btw. Would love to see some flames out of Ripley's Flamethrower though, maybe add Newt or Bishop?

Oew, nice build! It really captures the look of an actual double decker bus. Could you perhaps take a pic with the engines swiffled down? Love to see it in bricks and filled up with passengers.

Ah, that's what it is... Hate the double spacings, thanks for a quick solution. Is there a way to 'see' the bb code as well? I'm so accustomed to write it, I can't even even make a normal post without it.

Just something I came across during surfing the web; LEGOs get knocked down, and then they get put back together again. It’s what they do. Drones, with few exceptions, get put together, and are then gravely damaged beyond repair when they crash. Why not build on the repairability of LEGO bricks when making a hobbyist drone? That’s the idea behind Flybrix. Source: Popsi.com

Diggin' the concept idea, but I don't think it looks the Dieselpunk part; in my eyes the building & vehicles needs to be more Art-Deco/Retro-Futurism/Streamline Moderne/(Neo)Pulp Noir styled. I suggest you look up some reference material; such as 'Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow'.

Just seen the new Ghostbuster movie; Kinda 'meh', digged the small cameo's and the overall look of the ghost, but the characters just haven't the appeal as the oldschool movie's.

Looks very fresh! Never knew I was gonna say this, but I actually missed you guys; checking Eurobricks is just so much part of my daily routine...

Dredd; because I'm in a 'scifi dystopia' mood the past couple of weeks. *I want a sequel!

Agreed, same goes for the colorscheme... Some greebs on them wouldn't hurt them as well.

Free State of Jones, I anticipated some more action for some reason. But it was a nice watch.

I haven't seen such a road in Lego, yet I did see one that ascends and decends. Though, the 'winding' effect can be created by covering up a brick build road with tiles/plates, similar to this moc; Carripana by César Soares, on Flickr.

LOL, when I was there they had these super small narrow vans which really reminded me of 4 wide Lego cars. Some of them where from Suzuki, Daihatsu, Toyota and some brands I didn't now. Every now and then you spot them in Europe. Really wanna go back again; cities are like being in the future, hectic yet structured. Though outside the cities it's calm and sereen.

Hi & welcome. Gabon, that's definitely not a country you hear on these boards often... Can't even start to imagine growing up with only a single box of Lego. How is you Lego situation now? Interested in seeing your take on things.
