Epic shot BobBongo1895, the lighting is just superb. Nice posing of the minifigs also, it really makes the scene come to life. Love to see more pictures like these!

Huh? Since when did the Fury become a shuttle? According to the SW:TOR website and Wookieepedia the Fury is a multi-purpose warship/transport. The Thunderclap is classified as an assault ship on both websites, and the Mantis is described as a patrol/picket ship. That makes them all more or less equivalent, though i admit that if game mechanics hadn't been involved these ships probably would have differed a lot more in their role, characteristics and performance.

Don't we all love dark red? No reason to feel stupid though, looking at the official pictures of the ship, the color is neither bright red nor dark red. So you can go either way. I assumed you picked bright red either out of a personal preference or because of parts availability. If you have a digital model of your creation, you could try it with dark red to see how it looks. If you think it's an improvement you can always upload a nice render of the updated color sceme to Cuusoo right? Edit: I see you already photoshopped the image! It does look nice in dark red!

You continue to surprise me with your models Bob De Quatre, you truly have a unique talent for creative designs! There are so many odd angles and curves in this creation, and still it comes together beautifully. I particularly like the large curved wing/arm-like structures, i take it those are the plasma beam emitters? And i also find the huge circular structure with the domed sides towards the midsection of the ship very impressive looking. I'm quite fond of how you designed the various guns as well, there is some great detailing there. The way the engine rings are constructed is very nice and creative, but i hate to admit i find them a bit underwhelming. Personally i would have preferred to see bigger and more powerful looking engines that are more to scale with the size of the ship.

I think this post by Cpt. Dan pretty much describes how i felt as well about the end of Episode III. It really is an intense moment in the story line when the last remnants of the Republic are destroyed and the Empire takes over completely. Great choice for an entry Admiral-Ackbar!

From what i've seen in video reviews, about the same as average flick fire missiles. It's a nice mechanism, but i wouldn't expect the projectiles to blast across the living room.

I'm a bit disappointed to learn that it isn't a series. But the Padawan Menace was great, so there's no doubt in my mind that the Empire Strikes Out will be equally as entertaining! Very much looking forward to seeing it!

I see you have found your way to Eurobricks glenbricker, welcome! I already added my support to this great project when i bumped into it during an earlier visit to Cuusoo. In my opinion it makes a much better companion set for the Fury than the Republic Striker, and i would probably buy the Defender if it was released as an official set. Yes, the model is scaled down considerably compared to the ship as it is seen in the game. But so is the official Fury set, and in doing so you made your model fit in with the Fury set perfectly. Modifying your design to include minifigures was a smart move i think, it adds greatly to the overall appeal of the set. The bright red is just a bit on the bright side for me, i think i would prefer dark red as the main color. But the build itself captures the essence of the ship just brilliantly, well done! I'm very interested to see the updates on your continued improvements!

It hardly matters what went wrong, i'm just glad to hear the problem has been solved. At least now you can fully enjoy the set without that little issue nagging at the back of your mind. -
Those are some great improvements you made Anio, it's good to see them in the brick! I'm really glad you managed to work in that window slot, it turned out great!

Nice job on these lightsaber hilts DarthPotato! I'm not familiar with all of them, but i did instantly recognize Obi-Wan's and Yoda's lightsaber among the bunch. I do have to agree that the yellow is maybe a bit too bright. It's just a suggestion of course, but have you considered trying brown or tan as an alternative? It probably will look a bit less gold-like, but it's also less obtrusive and may result in a more balanced color scheme.

How did we miss this amazing creation? It looks absolutely stunning, with some great techniques and detailing. I'm not familiar with the ship itself, but the combination of straight lines and sharp edges give it an agressive profile that makes me think it could very well be Mandalorian in design. Personally, i'm glad you left out the huge tube-like structures leading up to the engines, i think they look rather ugly in the source material. Well done Колпак, i hope to see much more of your creations here!

Looking at the online instruction booklet, i don't think there's anything wrong with the instructions. I just tried that connection with some spare parts and the fire hose part is long enough for a good firm grip in the cone part. Assuming you applied all the parts the right way, i'm quite puzzled how that connection should cause you any problems. -
Agreed, i think they are supposed to hinge together. But on the other hand, this does present a nice way to solve the tower problem without having to build a seperate support structure.

Mission accomplished i would say! Very nice job on this one M<0><0<DSWIM, both themes are instantly recognizable and you really made a badass model out of it. Are you planning on making more Star Wars Gundam crossovers?

Do not underestimate the power of Dapper-D2 I've got a splitting headache from the moment i got out of bed this morning, but this fun and well executed creation sure managed to make me smile and brighten my day a bit. Well done and thanks for posting this Dapper-D2!

Nicely put and mostly true for me as well. I have to admit i have a growing dislike for the Clone Wars minifigs, and that does have a certain influence on the overall appeal of Clone Wars sets to me. But when a LEGO model has been designed really well, then it hardly matters to me on what subtheme it's based. I completely agree with you that The Clone Wars series and games like the Old Republic are a nice way to expand and enrich the Star Wars universe, and provides LEGO with an opportunity to release some interesting new designs.

No panic just yet guys, i think (hope) he means he took the official UCS set apart and not his own MOC version!
-
Well, those are two perfectly good reasons to go for a brick built approach alright! Still, i can't help but feel that the octagonal shape and thickness make it look a bit crude compared to the very high quality standard set by the rest of the model, and i really hope that a more elegant solution may present itself in the future!

It never hurts to try different options to see what gives the most realistic effect. But if you think it looks better with antennae, then you definately should keep them! I just added my support for your project on Cuusoo. Only 53 votes so far, but i hope you'll get plenty more! The render by Bobsy looks really nice and presentable, maybe you should upload that to Cuusoo to draw even more support

Wow, i am in awe... I always considered the official UCS Millennium Falcon to be a nearly perfect representation of the famous ship, but here you come along with your own version that manages to top that! Not only does it improve on the exterior look quite a bit, but it also comes with a beautifully detailed interior that just made me drool! What i really like in your version is that you used a more regular approach in creating the segments for the circular hull, compared to the irregular shapes used in the official UCS model. It just looks a bit less random and the way the hull panels (especially the off-colored bits) fan out from the center creates a really nice effect. There are so many beautiful details in this build, each minute i spend looking at the pictures i keep discovering more. You really did a superb job with this build Pepa Quin! There is really only one thing that stood out to me that i liked less, and that is the sensor dish. Even though i find it impressive that you managed to brick build a convincing representation of the dish, in my opinion it just looks a bit too thick and bulky. Have you considered using the one from the UCS set for your MOC? Or did you prefer a brick built version for a reason?

When i look at different reference pictures, especially the ones taken directly from the movies, the antennae really are hardly noticable. Have you actually tried the spires without antennae or with just one antenna on top, to see how that looks? I know what you mean about the shape of the spires, but that didn't remotely stand out to me as bothersome. Considering the scale in which you designed the temple, think the compromise you made is perfectly acceptable and even without the tapering the spires look just fine to me.

I so recognize that! When i was a kid we only got one catalogue at the beginning of the year, so in januari i used to visit the local toy shop about three or four times a week so i could get my hands on the new catalogue. I can still remember how excited i felt when it was finally there! Some new sets would already be there too, so i would get even more excited! Maybe it's just nostalgy, but those were the days indeed. Still, i definately wouldn't mind a sneak peek at some preliminary pictures. Or better yet, the official pictures of the final product.

In the Star Wars universe lightsaber hilts come in all shapes and sizes, so like Bobsy i just like to vary a bit. But mostly i use the thick ringed end as the emitter end, which is probably the "official" way like Brickdoctor pointed out. -
That's a very nice Architecture rendition of the Jedi Temple, ADHO15! Compared to the source material it looks pretty accurate, but i do think the antennae are a bit much, in my opinion they make the towers look rather top heavy. Still, i think you did a brilliant job to make such a detailed display model in this scale, i'll be definately supporting this on Cuusoo!
