This is stunning work I Scream Clone, i love everything about it! Every build and every part of the scene shares the same incredible attention to detail. Even the whole presentation is awesome. But the best detail for me has to be the footprints, those really made me smile!

You made a fair point Bonaparte, i think i'm one of the members who's been faceless for far too long... I just have no idea what to make for an avatar. What would you guys recommend? Something to fit the theme of the forum i usually hang out in, something that somehow relates to my name, or something more neutral?

Very nice, you really captured the essence of this dramatic moment! It hardly matters that it has been scaled down significantly, all the elements are there to make this scene recognizable. I really like the statues!

I love visiting this topic, always good for a few laughs!

Nice pleasing shapes going on there J4ke, especially the cockpit caught my interest! Add to that lots of nice details and a good solid color scheme and you end up with a great MOC. Well done!

Fantastic chibi figures M<O><O<D! (is that last arrow supposed to point that way in your name?) I absolutely love how you did the hair on both figures and in particular the beard. But there are plenty of other really nice details to be admired, so well done!

What don't you like about your creation? I think you captured the shape of the capsule rather well! And the forced perspective display scene with the terrain and the clouds is a very nice touch as well.

Thanks for sharing Oky!

Well, that sure captures the entire news article in one MOC! And it's a really good MOC at that, i'm loving all the nice detailing going on there! And George Lucas in a pool with gold below is just hilarious, the whole scene just makes me go rolling over the floor laughing!

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
DFOL replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I agree with Empire911 and Lobot on this one. The mentioned parts are unique to this set in this color and really hard to find, so i think you would be better off buying a complete set. The MISB prices are rather steep, but you might get a good deal with one in used condition. -
Amazing! This has got to be one of the most beautiful recreations of this scene in LEGO i have ever seen. The floor, the chair, the equipment, the droids, all show an amazing attention to detail. And the lighting takes the scene to a different dimension entirely.

Surprising and exciting news, judging from the many reactions on this topic... I think this could go either way: either Disney will fail to please the millions of fans and ruin Star Wars badly, or Star Wars will profit from a much needed boost in creativity and quality. Personally, i welcome the change. In my opinion Lucas' recent releases seemed a bit stale, and i don't see Disney doing a worse job at it. So from that perspective it can only get better. Do i expect the new movies to be of the same caliber as the Original Trilogy? No, of course not. But i do hope they will be better than the Prequel Trilogy.

It's huge! Nice to see this project slowly taking shape. -
A very dark and dramatic picture, that perfectly reflects the dark and dramatic scene in the movie. Very nice shot indeed!

Well done K.Kreations, i'm very impressed by how well you captured the color scheme and patterns in your creation. The whole scene is oozing with intricate detailing and shiny smooth surfaces, which gives a very high quality feel to it. One footnote though, i don't recall seeing that many greebles on the floor in the reference picture. Maybe i'm just overthinking it a bit, but wouldn't get all those random greebles on the floor just get in the way of normal operations on a hangar deck?

Well done wokajablocka, in my opinion you did a terrific job at creating a very convincing bridge scene. It's instantly recognizable and i love all the nice details like the crew pit, the death star and the way you built the windows. I do think a studless approach would have looked a bit better on the black background, but given the fact you only had a limited supply of bricks to work with, i can understand why you used plates there.

Simple but effective indeed, the lava really looks like it's a bubbling hot mess of molten rock. That last picture is really nice by the way, very dramatic!

Yay, it's finally finished! And it's every bit as awesome as i hoped for and more! The skeletal structure that covers the landing platform looks both delicate and beautifully detailed, you really captured the overall feel of it as it appeared in the movies. I can't stop looking at it! I also like how you made the scene come alive by adding loads of characters, droids, service vehicles, and Grievous' starfighter of course. Especially the crab droid caught my eye, it's really well made. The goblins look a bit odd as Utai though, but i can't think of any minifig that would look like a better alternative.

[MOC] Yet another Super Star Destroyer Executor...
DFOL replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Bob de Quatre, it speaks for itself that the nescessities of life have priority over a hobby, and trying to turn a new apartment into a place you can call home can be very exciting too. I do hope you find time soon to return to your building and designing though. I always enjoy seeing your creations, either digital or in the brick! Mortesv, i'd love to see your mods if you're willing to share them! -
I rarely venture out of the Star Wars forum, but i couldn't resist adding my praise to this creation. The amount of attention to detail is just incredible, and the whole scale of the entire build awe inspiring. Kudos to the builder!

At least the Jedi will never be late again as long as they fly these starfighters, with a built in wing-clock!
