  1. Hi all, inspired by MOC containers created by CamelBoy68 (please excuse me, CamelBoy68, if I "took inspiration" from your creation ), I've just created 4 new 20' standard containers that can be placed on Maersk Train wagons. Side view Front view Back view Some notes (and differences from official Maersk and CamelBoy68's containers): I've used 2 x 2453 BRICK 1x1x5 for the two back edges. This increases solidity, as in real containers. Green corrugated containers is made of staggered 30137 PALISADE BRICK 1x4 and 30136 PALISADE BRICK 1x2 (instead of 1x2 bricks only) to increase solidity. As you can see in front view, I've used 1 x 2431 FLAT TILE 1x4, 6 x 87079 FLAT TILE 2x4 and 2 x 3068 FLAT TILE 2x2 as flat basement in order to ease placing goods inside. I've replaced 3009 BRICK 1x6 above the door with 2 x 3666 PLATE 1x6 above the door and 2 x 3024 PLATE 1x1 below. This to perfectly center the door (3 elements below and 3 above including feet and roof). Blue framed container is created using 2493 WINDOW FRAME 1x4x5 and 2494 GLASS 4x5. Red framed container is created using 74968 WALL ELEMENT 1x2x3 and 87552 WALL ELEMENT 1x2x2. All the bricks are available except for the 2494 GLASS 4x5 in blue framed container. This is not a real problem as you can paint it (or cover it with a blue sticker) before assembling inside the window frame. Due to low availability of 3027 PLATE 6x16 in stores, roof and base plates can be replaced with 4 x 3036 PLATE 6x8. I hope you enjoyed it. If you want, I can share my LDD project.

  4. Great review, ResIpsaLoquitur. Is there any complete list of all monthly mini-builds released since 2009? Thanks. EDIT: Nevermind. Just found it at http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Monthly_Mini_Model_Build You can find a lot of 4-wide vehicles in Creator 3-in-1 canisters and bags. http://www.brickset.com/search/advanced/run/?q=1188 I collected all of them and are perfect for playing with my 3 years old son.
  5. Containers are made of regular 2x4 bricks with top containers made of 2x4 plates and 2x4 flat tiles. Almost complete parts list is available on Brickset. You can replace some of grey containers with blue, green and red ones and you'll get a real-life ship with containers from various companies.

    MOC: Trenitalia FRECCIAROSSA

Great MOC! Congratulations. The nose is really well done. A small suggestion, you shoul use some 1x1 and 2x1 slopes for the side oblique stripes using the same (or a simpler) technique you can find in Horizon Express side arrows.

Maersk One (if not main) reason is that Maersk as Lego is a Danish company.

    BOOK REVIEW: Amazing Vehicles

Thank you for your review, Blakbird. What I don't know is if you need only one 5867 set to build all vehicles.

Is this layout in short circuit ?

I'm not an expert on electrified tracks, but I think the layout is correct and you can use a regular controller. Let's wait for an answer from an expert.

Is this layout in short circuit ?

There's an error in the circuit layout created by the program. You can see it in straight tracks between two switches below. I see no short circuits here.

    NEWS 10241 Maersk Line Triple-E

If you take a closer look, you'll see that only top containers are made of 2x4 tiles because of plate top. All other containers are made of regular 2x4 bricks.
  22. Still no PF Train Switches.
