LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
TheBrickHitHouse replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I would fully expect a new walker soon - it's a chance for such a great set, but Lego seen to have got lazy with AT-AT's, I'd love to see Lego try and address that. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
TheBrickHitHouse replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just a shame that in a wave of so many highlights the actual 'batman' minifig is the most uninspired part! We know from the trailers for the film how many bat suits show up, shame they weren't better used -

£45 for an A Wing? I should laugh! -

Roller has a great Thunderbirds vibe. I'd have liked it to fit a passenger, seems odd that penguin drives himself! Picture is on YouTube. -

I'm always left a bit mystified by the Rebel and Clone Wars shows. I appreciate there are die hard fans, but these aren't shows with any real passion behind them - it's mediocre writing and a noteable lack of enthusiasm by Disney to promote these shows. As such, more than happy for Lego to skirt round the whole thing. -

Sets are appearing in stores...but only certain sets? What do we think is the reason for that? Can't be doing a Nov/Dec wave and a Jan wave, that would just be odd surely? -

The Y Wing seems pretty unchanged from 2012, shame -

How many Joker's are we getting?! A polybag too? Rather excessive when he's already in a 'cheap' set. -
Indeed, some baffling decisions lead to this release

Leg printing - even designs that might not fully work - is always better than plain legs. Why? If you feel plain works better, swap the brick. Now try doing that, the other way around. Lego charge a fortune, they damn well need to earn every penny - Arkham costs roughly the same as a PS4 was recently going for in the U.K. Think production costs are the same? -

Love these sets! Shame we're missing leg printing - the new Batgirl and Harley kinda set the bar about 10 meters higher... -

Really impressed with the Rogue One sets, each needs to be seen 'in the flesh' to fully appreciate, I reckon, as pictures sell the sets a bit short. -

Lego is so expensive that every figure should be to the standard (or higher) of the collectible minifig sets. Missing leg printing (and with editions of Han, back printing...) is insulting, especially in sets costing more than 2 PS4's!! -

Anyone else tired of lego's deliberate leaks? its 2016 and we each carry phones with zillion megapixel cameras...and we get blurry pictures of catalogues?! Was the catalogue hanging from a pole?! Nah, Lego is doing this deliberately and the poor quality is to defeat bootleggers. What I can't understand is what their goal is - maybe to guage people's responses to set pricing/identify improvements? In any event - enough! Half the readers of this board weren't even alive the last time a phone with such a bad camera was in production... -

Stick a minifig on it and the sheer enormity really strikes home. Imagine the AT-AT that's possible. I must have built mine wrong as there's some friction coming from somewhere. Without dismantling the set, I guess I'll just have to live with it. -
Oh no! Not more people moaning only certain sets are 'true' UCS - as if there's some sort of science to this... Hoth and the Death Star were just absurdly priced. If Hoth had been half the price we'd have probably concluded 'it was alright'

Argos website does a pretty good job of telling you which stores have stock - they seem to have had a big ol'restock today, as only London branches had any prior to this. Mystified (but delighted) by the price they've gone with! -

Shame the AT ST only sits one, that was my grievance with the last lot. Oh well, still a great set. -

When I got the original Death Star (1st day of release), shop@home had a pricing error and I acquired it for just £200. The new one seems to be on track for £400. That's crazy. With UCS sets I really expect the minifigs to be 'collector' versions too - the best, most detailed versions possible. C3PO is less detailed than his last polybag... -

It's ironic - 12 months ago my only real gripe with the Death Star would have been the lack of the gunners (odd they were missed first time). This one though, just one genuinely new figure (the droid), maybe two if you count the astromec. Motte, Tagge, Yularen - how is Yularen missing, he already exists! How do I justify buying this when I have the original? I hate 'missing out' on big sets. Can't believe th designers had no ideas for improvements and yet made the TIE worse. -

This lazy set will flop and Lego will conclude that people don't like large sets. So long Yavin 4 base or Cloud City. -

We didn't even get updated figures!! Plain legs, no arm printing - those imperial officers / troopers are more basic than in some existing sets. I'm stunned. I can't spend than much on something I already, essentially, own. -

Well, atleast the Death Star isn't fewer bricks, but I'd hoped for something bigger to justify owning the old and the new versions
