    "They generate their own deflector shields." Those shields are really clever, going below the floor to hide the rest of the sphere.

    The enigmatic Steve... pirate or merchant, peg leg or none, hooks and eye patches appear and disappear. How can these all be the same person? Welcome to the International Society of Steve (ISS), where Steves from across the seven seas meet to plot new ways to confuse the public. At their secret meetings, merchants plan new trade routes, sailors look for new work and pirates plot raids on merchant ships (some may say there is a conflict of interest here... ). Not all meetings go to plan, however. Here we see the dramatic scene as the Head Steve forcibly ejects Captain Redbeard from a meeting after the discovery that, despite his dashing red beard, his name is not Steve, but Roger. Captain Redbeard subsequently attempts to get out into the night before that half-filled bottle of rum connects with his skull. Here are some more pictures of the model, which has approximately 161 pieces. Look at the smile on Steve's face as he tosses out Redbeard. I hope you like my entry!

    Like I said in the other topic, I was trying to post both here and in the Mini Imperial Trading Post at the same moment, but the forum software foiled me. You may choose whichever you like to be the first to 25!

    Cool! Which set do you have it in? The S is for Steve, of course.

    Tell that to the Head Steve and see what happens... You are on the right "track" with the torso. Is is a racetrack driver one and it is monogrammed.

    The minifigure prints would probably look good as a display next to the set. They do look a bit out of place in the model since we don't expect to see minifigures in a micro build. Or, you could even include a display with a limited edition collectible Classic Steve minifigure with the set.

    I'm glad you like it! I like the way the lighting turned out in the first photo. The idea for my story is not clones, but rather anyone named Steve can join the secret society (and possibly Stephanie... but definitely not Roger ) They meet secretly in taverns throughout the lands, so it is not their headquarters, but a temporary meeting site. Hence, the bulk of their treasure is hidden elsewhere. Anyone have a guess as to Head Steve's torso?

    That is a very nice wizard figure. I love the usage of parts, especially the minifigure accessories like the flasks, which are now actually the correct scale!

    Thank you! That is Ironhook without the peg leg, which apparently some have speculated is actually Steve, which is why I included him. Redbeard thinks he can get away with anything.

    Thank you for the kind comments! Redbeard should have grabbed his parrot on the way out. I was originally going to do chairs, but I found the space was too tight to get the angles I wanted for the minifigures. Perhaps I could have fit them if I arranged things differently.

    I'm glad you like it! Don't worry about the table; it's only loaded with a huge pile of gold. Thank you! As I mentioned in another topic, I haven't got the actual Steve minifigure. Notice you never see the front of his torso in the photos. Does anyone want to guess what torso Head Steve has? Hint: it's monogrammed.

    Very nice model; I always like the Islanders. I quite like the classic statue head for the door! I also haven't got the original Steve minifigure. If you look at the photos of my entry, you will see they hide as much as they reveal.

    This is such a neat idea. I like the concept of incorporating LEGO bricks into the everyday structure/decoration of your home. I can imagine this is very pretty in a darkened room.

    I'm glad you like it! In hindsight, I should have used a dark background for the first picture, but it would be hard to recreate the lighting, since I was just pointing a light brick at different parts of the model until I got the effect I wanted. The bottle is not grog, though; the Head Steve demands full-strength rum! I'm glad you enjoyed it! The parrot is definitely named Steve. The grey tiles were just to break up the brown and because I had extra grey tiles sitting about.

    I see the first to 25 challenges have begun! I wanted to clarify the rules about replies to a topic. The topic author's posts do not count, but all others posted after the start time do; so, multiple posts by the same person count separately as long as they are not consecutive, correct? That is to say, it doesn't have to be replies by 25 different people, but a total of 25 posts some of which may be by the same people posting multiple, non-consecutive posts. Is that right?

    That is really nice! I love that you've included a shortcut there. Those were always my favourite parts of the tracks. I especially liked the one on Magma Moon Marathon where you had to drive though the colours in the right order.
