Padré François, the "Hawk of Hades", has formally thrown his support behind the team that was clearly named after him. I was planning on revealing this outfit change when the Padré received his first promotion, but it seemed so fitting to use it now...

Following their dismal performance in the BTSC, Merde's "alive" bounty has been rescinded. I'm putting Merde the Murderer up for a free transfer. Anyone who wants to add him to their canon can feel free to do so. First come, first served.

Wanted: Merde "the Murderer" Bounty: 50db dead Whereabouts: Last seen in the Sea Rat town of Bastion, on the Nest of Thieves, participating in the BoBS Tournament Soccer Cup. Accomplices: Last seen player-coaching a crew of Oleonaise Navy sailors, who have been dubbed the "Ocean 11". No bounty is offered for these, and aggression may be seen as an act of war. Crimes (in chronological order): Theft, larceny, loitering, arson, rioting, murder, resisting arrest, breaching penal sentence, desertion, misrepresentation, impersonating an officer of the Oleonaise Navy, theft of an Oleonaise Navy vessel, fraud, conducting diplomatic relations as a private individual, double-fraud, unlicensed gambling, embezzlement. Details: Private Merde deserted his post in Astrapi on the Île Zeus on, or about, September 13 and intercepted the crew of a naval dispatch vessel en route from the recent troubles on the Île d'Or to Granoleon. After talking to the crew, he successfully convinced them to urgently re-route to the Nest of Thieves. Once there, he honestly informed them that they had broken military protocol, and would likely be court-martialed on return to Oleonaise waters. Therefore their only hope of redemption would be to enter and win the local football tournament. However, he apparently abandoned his accomplices sometime during, or after, the tournament and his location is currently unknown. It is likely he has joined a crew of cut-throats under an assumed name. This is my entry for the BTSC. The Ocean 11 are ready to kick butt for Oleon. Let me know if there's anything I need to do to make this a legal entry.

Poor babies. Go have a little lie down! @Capt Wolf It looks like it's your Regimentals vs my 11 for that second slot in the knock-out stage. I'm just hoping for a blue-on-blue final. Also kudos to the Infernos for their high-scoring matches. 46 goals over 4 games! That's what happens when you put all 11 players in offense.

I was thinking it might be a fun way of dishing out new territories, when that next happens. Put a bunch of under-equipped redshirts on an island and watch the heads roll.

Shower thought: One of the challenges at some point should be a battle royale/hunger games knock-out competition, with the chance to kill-off your non-sig stand-in in funny/gruesome ways. I will happily elaborate if you need me to.

It's this damn "Oktoberfest" that's causing me concern. Drinking, debauchery, gambling, carousing, cavorting; this whole event is exactly the kind of behaviour that we came to Terra Nova to stamp out! Sure, we might expect this sort of thing from Sea Rats and Eslandolans, but I have it on good information that our own countrymen will be attending this festival. We must do what we can to reestablish the preeminence of the Faith in their hearts. I believe that a confessional booth in the town square might be an appropriate response. Let them know that the gods are always listening. I'm asking you to attend in my place since I have unfinished business here on the Île Zeus. I pray this missive finds you well. Padré François PS. I like this version. Gives a nice even number left in the play-offs, and everyone gets multiple chances to win, even if they lose a game. Only other thing is: since there are 3 prizes, you'd have to have a "third place" game as well.

I count 9 teams. Suddenly my chances of being in the top 3 have dropped like a lead zeppelin. Not that I mind. I love all these entries. Very creative, and very funny. We'll have to add a few NPC teams, but this looks like a fantastic tournament now!
