  1. Thanks for your compliment.
  2. Hi Mysh First of all, I apologize for my late response I make in-line responses to your questions as follows - May i ask if this mod is already including the suspension improvements that appear in other mods such as "ultimate playable" and "pimp up my porsche"? -> No, I made this MOD before there were introduced.. sorry. - May I also ask, if anyone has tried the BuWizz? It seems to me that this set may benefit greatly, as it will reduce some of the weight on the front side, and also add some more power that may help in the 4th gear transmission. -> That seems to be great idea.. I'd like to try it later. I have read someone that Madoro was considering a v2.0, do we have any update recently from Madoro? -> Sorry again, I have just finished another model "8070 spyder" and have a plan to make other MOC model, it's not 42056. However, I'll apply the enhancements from this 42056 MOD. Thanks.
  3. Among the LEGO models released in 2011,"TECHNIC 8070 Supercar" had full of working features and functions, e.g., gear wheel steering, realistic suspension, moving pistons, opening the scissor doors, extending the rear spoiler and popping the hood, nice and elegant exterior as well. This version of 8070 is a renovated version of TECHNIC 8070 Supercar to have features, for example, remote control and 4-speed gearbox shifting, but also it is re-designed as a roadster car, namely “8070 Spyder”. The major features of “8070 Spyder” are as follows Mounteddrive motors (PF XL-motor 2x) Mounteda steering motor (PF S-motor 1x) Mounteda gear shifting motor (PF M-motor 1x) Mounteda 4-speed sequential gearbox to enhance the durability and the efficiency of power transmission enough to climb a slight up-hill (at the physical limit of LEGO gear parts) Mounteda midship engine-block running 8 cylinders Mounteda rechargeable or AAA battery boxes Mounteda SBRICK for the remote-control capability
  4. That's a good news! And I appreciate for your praise.
  5. It's a good news for you to finish yours, and thanks for your encouragement.
  6. Congratulstion! That's greate news (-: And I appreciate for your comments. I'll fix them soon for others who will follow you. Thanks.
  7. I've not tried using timer for shifting yet... but I do not expect it will work well. From the begining, you can observe the orange colored shifting liftatm under the seat that indicates you the position of 4 speed gears.... at last you should learn from experience how to control it exactly... for example you will listen different sound while running gears are shifting to another speed. Another alternative is substituting two red-colored 3L connector (26287) with two driving ring connectors (18948) that will give you indications of shifting gears with two successive sounds like 'tick~ tick'. However, I am not sure one M motor has enough torque to move the driving rings... You may have to substitute two knob wheels to reduce resistance...

  9. Sorry for late response... I'll send you a screenshot of my Sbrick profile through e-mail.. Thanks.
  10. Sbrick configuration supports it... you can combine four distinctive ports into one control channel.
  11. I can reply only to your question that I can understand... I used my smartphone for Tx and a pair of Sbricks for Rx... I also used two pairs of Power Function LED lights. Sorry I don't understand your question about battery boxes..
  12. Oh.. sorry, I missed your comment~ I'll correct it soon.. thanks~
  13. Ok.. I see.. I updated the building instruction PDF file and uploaded it on rebrickable just before.. removing 2850 from the additional parts as you commented. Thanks~
  14. I also tried it, but I found that it has parts that are not used for BOX1... for example, 4x 24118, 1x 24118pr0001, 24118pr0002...
