I do realise this, but I reference checked multiple photos and stills before I got started, from both the photo shoots and official trailers. The suit itself in the film looks dark green with gold highlights in shadows, but has an almost copper/gold sheen all across when light strikes it. I'd be confident in saying that the suit in the film is mostly dark green, but LEGO chose to make his top half entirely gold so that he would resemble the classic comic Aquaman more, making him more recognisable to kids. Most kids wouldn't recognise a dark green figure with hobo hair to be Aquaman, they would be used to the bright orange and green outfit he typically sports. The black line detailing on the minifig seems to be pretty much perfect, it's just the colours which aren't quite right.

Just a plain green sharpie, applied in sections, using a tissue to quickly dab away any excess

I'm not normally one for using Sharpies on minifigs, but the DCEU Aquaman minifig left much to be desired. I swapped out the gold arms for dark green and took a green sharpie to the torso. In comparison to the promo art:

Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
Tr0jinH0rse replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I had a go of building the new Ravager ship, and decided to create Rocket Raccoon's Warbird in the same style. I added 6-stud shooters and spring missiles to replicate the Warbird's increased firepower. I can post more pictures later if anyone is interested- 5809 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

It appears that the Silver Centurion has both dual molded arms as well as printing if I'm not mistaken! It looks like it has red arms with short silver sleeves, Simpsons style. Does this mean that LEGO are going to start printing on their dual-toned parts? With the addition of the new dual molded legs this could lead to some really high detailed minifigs soon! -

I did reciece a pink shield, it was very noticeable when I compared it to the shield from last years Comic Style Captain America. I just swapped the shields between the figures, but the difference is still extremely obvious and looks terrible. -
Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Something I noticed very early on is that Ultron Prime and Ultimate Ultron actually share almost the same torso design, except for one detail. Ultimate Ultron appears to have a molten metal covering that has washed all over his armour. Seriously, take a look. The uneven wavy lines actually look like molten metal, as if he has been dipped in something. Recall the scene from the original trailer when Ultron's hand raises and molten metal drips off of it. Perhaps at some point in the movie he coats himself with adamantium or vibranium to make himself indestructible? It could also explain how Captain America's shield is broken at the end of that trailer too. -
Hi everyone, this is my first ever input into Eurobricks. I've been lurking for a while, and this contest made me decide to finally create an account. This is the first thing I have ever built using CCBS. I bought a bulk lot off eBay last week, and having never used it before I must say I enjoy using it a lot more than I thought I would. I'm glad that Bionicle next year is using this system, I feel like it's definitelly a step in the positive direction. Not to say I don't love the old system, I still can't get enough of the originals. Anyway, I digress. Here is my entry to the contest: BFTGM Entry - The Malevolent BFTGM Entry - The Malevolent by Tr0jinH0rse, on Flickr The Malevolent are a race native to the dark caves of Okoto, a violent and primitive species who wear the bones of their victims as armour and trophies. They wear a skull mask to frighten and intimidate their prey, and any who are foolhardy enough to challenge them. The villagers of Onu-Koto are wary of disturbing these beasts, as they don't want to end up as the next piece of armour on a Malevolent. Also, here is a shot of how I imagine the Malevolent to look in the dim light of a cave: BFTGM Entry - The Malevolent by Tr0jinH0rse, on Flickr More photos here: Thanks for looking! Good luck to everybody who entered the contest.
