Last 2 years creations (mostly cars, 1 boat, 1 house)

Recommended Posts

ER0L suggested to me, that I should do an update here on a particular car of mine, so I might as well give a short presentation of everything not yet shown here.

This car uses panels to get a low profile. Instructions on how to build it is in the link.

1379946767m_SPLASH.jpg

http://mocpages.com/moc.php/370802

Taking advantage of a special piece, a very low 5 wide can be built. Instructions partly explained in link.

1382816643m_SPLASH.jpg

http://mocpages.com/moc.php/373118

Had to have one of these.

Home Sweet Home

1396114937m_SPLASH.jpg

http://mocpages.com/moc.php/384814

A typical 1950s Cape Cod like design. Fully detailed interior.

And that about sums it up I think. There are LDD files for every creation if you want to copy something or want to check out building techniques.

Very nice work 'SF'.......I like most of those cars the second one the white open top....screams modern VW Beetle to me !

Mind if I take some inspiration from your work to build some vehicles in my Aussie town for a big show next month ?

Some very nice ones here, I can see why ER0L urged you to share them. I really like the top one, it reminds me of an old Ford Taunus, and that orange coupé/convertible design is lovely. Well done!

The yacht is very good looking, but it was the 4x4s that really grabbed my attention. I also like the lowness of some of your cars.

These are all nice! I particularly like the 5-wide and the large family car, as well as the yacht. The family car reminds me so some degree of the Volvo XC70. Could the yacht do with some more windows in the side of the hull?

Keep building nice cars, boats and houses!

Go ahead, thats the main reason I put the LDD files on my page :classic: .

I think any windows on the lower hull would interfere with the interior. I used one of the sides for cabinets:

Beautiful work, and all the LDD files you included are extremely considerate! Definitely plan to make some of those Police Interceptors for my Superheroes Collection! Are you going to produce more Police vehicles at some point?

Great to see all your fine vehicles (and that lovely house) here, too!

What I think is really important especially about your cars is that they show how you can build relatively small cars which are considerably low but fit at least two whole minifigs side by side, even in a 6w scheme. It's not so easy to achieve that - you sometimes have to think of completely new techniques like using panels as underbody.

Anyhow it's a great collection with a wide variety of shapes. We can learn much from this.

If you can make use of any of the LDD files, I´d love to see what you can come up with :classic: . I think I am inclined to just do regular versions of any future cars since its cheaper and easier to do (aquire the parts). Could do LDD police versions though, those are free  .

The panel idea from the first car is one I´d like to see explored some more. Piece no. 59349, 1x6x5 wall element could possibly be used as the base in a larger car.
